Was in Alpena for a few weeks and we went there almost every other day. Great coffee that is locally roasted and is smooth and most taste non-acidic. Good food that is not too big but is good for breakfast. Will definitely stop by if in the area

Cabin creek coffee is such an amazing looking place!! Staff is super friendly and they are really fast at their job. I would highly recommend going in for a cup of coffee. Great job guys!

This is where the locals go for coffee. They offer a large menu of hot and cold coffee and tea drinks as well as a variety of good breakfast and lunch fare. Great place to sit and visit, read a book or people watch.

We were passing though to Hoeft State Park and decided to get some coffee. This place has AMAZING coffee, and wonderful food! Everyone was really friendly and the atmosphere was great! If you are in the area, I would highly recommend you stop in for a quick cup and explore the town.

I think their scones are fantastic. My son ordered a mango smoothie and thought it was excellent, too. My daughter got a specialty latte and thought it was really good. So three products with great reviews. I ordered a coffee -- a Sumatra pour over. Not sure the young lady understood what a pour over was... She just got it from the airport. It was still a good tasting cup, though! I like this up-northy, unpretentious vibe they have going.

Best coffee Ive had in the area by far. Visited 1st time yesterday and going back this morning even though its in the opposite direction of my destination. Its that good

Cozy nook in downtown Alpena. Great regular coffee and specialty drinks. I appreciate that they have bold regular coffee along with flavors and the specialty stuff. Their salads are beautiful, generous, and delicious. Haven’t had a sandwich yet but I’ve seen them made and they look great.

Very good little shop, good drinks and treats (scones, muffins, etc.) Only thing is whenever I order a smoothie it doesnt stay together, it breaks apart and starts tasting...interesting. but other than that I think its a lovely coffee shop!

Wildberry smoothie was ok and triple latte was great but smoothie kind of infers that youve made a healthy choice....not here tho....these snoothies are loaded with extreme amounts of sugar, not good. Dont recommend.

Coffee and food were great if you dont mind waiting forever for a simple wrap. Walk in customers are not prioritized and I waited 30 minutes for my food while my coffee went cold.

The number of flavors of their roasted coffee beans they make is amazing! The decaf oatmeal cookie is what I got this time and it was awesome. They have almond milk for lattes which I appreciate. Best sugar free chocolate almond milk latte I’ve had! Very friendly staff as well.

We just stopped in for the first time and it will be our go to place. Excellent atmosphere and a great place to talk with people so very friendly. We were served with cardboard recycleable cups.

They do take in store orders and let you sit in and drink or eat, You do need a mask when you order but then you can take it off after you get to your table, The staff is always friendly and happy

A wonderful little coffee shop, Ive been here many times! I usually try to stop in when Im in town. The employees are kind, and the food and drinks are always delicious!

Stopped in to rest for a moment and quench our thirst. It is the cutest place I have seen in a long time. The decorations were great to just look around at them. The owners & other customers were so friendly. Can’t wait to get back there!!!

I love this place so much. Great coffee, amazing desserts, and the people are always nice as hell.

Had Earl Gray English tea and the spinach strata. Tea was great. Strata can be served at room temperature or piping hot. They serve it at room temp. So if you like it hot do ask. Loved the atmosphere with its hand crafted wood chairs and cabin type decor. Prices are reasonable.

Adorable little coffee shop. We found it by chance, drove by and decided to stop in. It was crowded when we got there but service was still quick and they were happy to help with all of our needs. Even with how busy it was with people talking, it didnt seem loud inside like some coffee shops can get. My tea was only a dollar and it was good. My boyfriends coffee was excellent as well. We were tired from hiking all day and they were happy to give us cups of water. Very friendly service. Nice little retreat from the outside.

Cute spot in downtown Alpena! Well-priced and pretty extensive coffee/drink menu. I recommend bringing your own travel mug, as they serve coffee to go in styrofoam. They also have fun gifts to buy for yourself or others! Lots of room to sit and stay a while. Check them out!

Their food is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend their soups and their Up North Tom. I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it is absolutely terrible trying to get a hold of them for ordering. You call and it will ring, you will call again and automatic vm. Today I have called 7x now to try and place an order with no such luck. Otherwise keep up the great work and I will continue ordering at least 1x a week like normal. Thank You!

By far the best coffee in town. The shop has a great atmosphere with plentiful seating. I found the booths to be great for meeting with friends and for working on your laptop.The food was also surprisingly good for a coffee shop.

Had coffee there yesterday morning. Short walk from the Holiday Inn. Nice coffee shop, good coffee, fast friendly service.

Drinks were fine. The selection of pastries was very limited, not sure if because of time of day or if its that way all around. The two ladies who took our order were not outright rude, but not friendly either. One forgot one of the drinks and when asked about it, another staff member made it, but did not seem eager to do it. Not sure about going back.

In town and needed a pick me up. Glad I stopped. Had a triple coconut milk latte and was pleased enough to come back the next day. Plenty of non-dairy options, and smooth coffee. Will definitely be back.

MAKE SURE you check coffees temp, with a finger or something! Very hot, much hotter than Starbucks or Seattles best. Seared my mouth after blowing with small sip (that ended up on side walk with searing pain).They did pour ice on my hand for coffee.Half an hour later, after icing coffee & tongue, & blowing... Coffee now drinkable. Tongue still pulsing will wait until completely cold to taste. Too burned, slightest amount of heat now extremely painful.I drink coffee like I should drink water 😊Hands down, Mc Donalds seems cool in comparison!Other than that, cute place.

Had an Americano and a breakfast sandwich and they were both amazing. Took a cinnamon bun for the road and enjoyed it on the waterfront a little while later.

Rustic and wildly popular coffee house and cafe downtown. Great for awesome coffee and caffine beverages all day. Good food for breakfast and lunch. Great for a place to sneak in a few hours of work while vacationing up north.

Place is cool as heck inside and unique compared to other hipstery little spots. Espresso is good quality and drinks overall on the good end of the spectrum. Honestly worth a stop for a brief stay and a tasty bite of pastry or pie.
