First time at this Harbor Freight. Love the prices and variety of tools. Found what we needed easily. Staff did ask if they could help. Friendly and knowledgeable. About a 45 minute trip for us, but worth it.

Exactly what you would expect. Went here to buy Harbor Freight tools, was mostly successful in finding what I wanted, and will return later for what they were out of stock of. Staff was kind and helpful in locating items and looking in the back for things not on the shelf. When I need Harbor Freight tools again I will be returning to this store.

Great store for the occasional due-it-yourself-er. Tools are cheaper than you will find anywhere else. Remember, you get what you pay for. Tools wont stand up to commercial use or any type of abuse

Awesome, staff was very helpful. You have great people and the alpena store. The manager and kathlyn Answered all my questions.But I do have a few suggestion. Like, you sell heaters but you should sell air-conditioners? Also you have sets of screw drives, sets of pliers but you dont have sets of rachets.1/2,3/8,1/4. Or even 1or 3/4 sets

I was sorta browsing hitches when a skinny, bearded worker happened to pass by, so I asked him if he knew much about trailers, which he did. I did not. He asked me what kind of trailer, how many axels, how tall the wheels were, where the tongue rested at level... whole bunch of stuff. Then, he suggested a hitch and ball, which turned out to be perfect for my trailer! Wish I got his name so hed get some recognition, but shucks. A thank you will have to do. Thanks, Dude.

We were helped by an employee named Rex (I think). He was very helpful and knew the store and products well. He showed us how to go online for Harbor freight coupons and what the product warranty covers. We bought some items and will be back on Black Friday for the big ticket items and for the first time we will be buying a product warranty.

HUGE selection, well laid out and bright. Lots of staff to help and answer questions. Clean and neat layout made it easy to find things.

Someone greeted us right away upon entering. Lots of employees to help us find things.

Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and the store is clean and stocked.

They do have some throw away tools but if you know what to look for they also have some bargains on some really good tools.The staff is all first class and this is one of my favorite places to visit.Will be back as much as my wallet allows.
