Was surprised, came on July 3rd when it was decently hot so it was very busy, but my group of 17 got ice cream within 15 minutes, maybe less. Standard prices, yummy ice cream

Location is good and easy to walk too. The prices are good plus the owner and staff (crew) treat people with kindness and respect.All the employees make the experience very pleasant. Food presentation is done well. You can tell they care about what they do. And they make you feel important.The service that you get to makes you want to return next season.God bless the owner and all the staff that works there may we see you again next year.

The workers were polite and efficient. The line moved along well and the ice cream is what you would expect from a DQ. Could use more outside seats as many had to sit in the grass or stand around the few people that could sit down. Also this lead to many standing in the parking lot or along the street.

How can you not love this old school Dairy Queen! Now if you dont know what that means, let me help you. This is not a Fast Food Dairy Queen, this is what Dairy Queen started out as! There is no drive thru, or indoor seating. You order at the window, and pick up at the window. There are a few picnic tables near the building if you want to sit and enjoy your Ice Cream. I dont do that often because its located on a loud, busy road. We usually head up the road to the park where its a bit more quiet.The staff here is always helpful! Even when specialty blizzards are removed from the menu, they are more then willing to create them for us anyway! I always appreciate that! OH and they have pup cups for your dogs!

Never had dq but i wanted to try the dq grillburger.wouldve been a 4 if dq in alpena had an actual resturant

I was very disappointed in my blizzard I ordered, theres was no hardened chocolate on the inside of the cup and it was more like a shake than a Blizzard. Thats the 3rd time it wasnt like they used to be. And all the candy bar was on top, barely mixed. Such a bummer. I may or may not give them a try in the future. I guess it depends on how bad I want a blizzard.

The workers are always polite and work fast together to get us our order as soon as possible when I have been there. Also the cotton candy blizzard is my jam!!! It is only for a limited time please make it permanent!!! I wouldn’t come much at all if that one wasn’t served any longer.

Love this place but liked the other dairy Queen on State Street better, there was better parking, but they closed it. Dumb move. Maybe you could open another place in town where you can go in side and eat lunch all year long. Maybe in the shopping center where dollar tree is, open a brazier.

I have been getting Ice Cream here since I was a little kid and always enjoyed the tasty soft serve ice cream. My favorite is chocolate dipped in chocolate. But a nice big swirl vanilla & chocolate cone is always a treat.

Service was good. Havent had a DQ all year. Was looking fwd to a chocolate malt. YUCK! Not sure if different brand of malt, but the flavor was off. Will try again another time.

Order the fudge stuffed cookie, or chocolate dipped in chocolate! Sooo decadent, but so tasty! Me and the girls loved it!

It was a very busy night. DQ was well staffed and they were working together. I cant believe how fast we got to the front of the line. Way to go!

They sell ice cream. Its tasty and affordable. Parking sucks, but really you ought to walk your butt here and burn a few calories anyhow.

Waited in front of window for 5 to 10 minutes, seen 2 people inside no one came and helped me. No one else was there getting stuff so they couldnt have been to busy.

Usually have good service. I have a peanut allergy so sometimes one of the girls gives me or my boyfriend attitude about the allergy precautions.

Out of the 2 DQs that we have in town, neither are a full restaurants that serve the same lunch/dinner food as most other DQ locations
