Great place! They have a very wide variety of items and we havent had any issues with the quality of items. In fact, Ive been to international markets and specifically Persian markets all over the country. This place has the best selection for the most reasonable prices of all of them, certainly best overall in the deep south. It can be really hard to find authentic Persian food in the south but this place is perfect! True, authentic persian food by people who are actually from the region and who arent pushy at all. If you want true, authentic Persian ingredients and wonderful, kind people then this is your place. Oh, and they also have an awesome selection of Persian goods. It can be super hard to find specific items for the home but they have a really good selection! Thanks for being a great place to find things to help make Persian loved ones feel more at home.

It is convenient for Johns Creek residents and price of items are fair. Unfortunately, like many shoppers stated, you need to be aware of expired products in every turn. Been going there once in a while thinking that they would get better, however nothing has improved. I wonder if someone from health dept in city of JohnsCreek isnt doing their job right when it comes to inspecting the place.

Delicious food and great service! The owner walked me through his menu and checked on me several times. Get the #12 with a sampling of two meats, perfectly cooked rice and a side salad. I will be back weekly it has to be the best lunch I’ve had on this side of town. Intriguing market to look around at as well.

The store carries Iranian and Middle Eastern specialized items. They have a good variety of flavored nuts and sweets. The frozen section has typical Middle Eastern cheeses. Good variety of spices for Persian cooking. The two stars as he tried to cheat me on the bill. When I caught it, his answer was that the item was in his register from the previous person! I was the only one in the store. He refunded me the money for the item. Dishonesty never pays. He did not even apologize as he knew what he was doing.

Not a bad place for Persian and Mediterranean grocery shopping but its owners and workers appear somewhat rude and arrogant, they dont properly greet to customer or have a smile on their faces which is customary in American business culture, they need to learn this aspect of doing business so that customer feel welcomed and pleasant there.

Great selection of Middle Eastern and South Asian foods and ingredients. I especially love the variety of Indian teas and Arabica coffee. This is primarily a grocery store, but there is a small cafe towards the back of the store where you can order from a range of dishes and eat there in the store. They carry a large number of items that the major US grocery stores do not. The prices are reasonable. The staff has always been very friendly in my experience.

This place is pretty great! They have a HUGE selection of middle eastern groceries as well as hookah supplies and lots more. The management was super nice, and it was an overall great experience. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in was the freshness of the prepackaged foods, particularly the halva and Turkish delight. But the fresh stuff there is really good.

Nice place for persian, turkish foods and items, fresh sweets like Baklava. Dry fruits are awesome from the look itself you can see the quality. You also get lunch, dinner entrees there. Only one thing I thought was it needs some proper organization of stuff as in the arrangement and all to make. Things are placed in defined areas but not properly organized.

BE AWARE OF EXPIRED PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!! This place is notorious for selling extremely OUTDATED/EXPIRED products. I bought a chocolate on 1/15/16 and after I ate it I started getting stomach pains. The expiration date stated 04/2014, which was TWO YEARS OLD!!! I could not believe my eyes. I called the place and they hung up on my face. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and they could care less. BOTTOM LINE is this place is HORRIBLE.

Good place to find middle eastern type of food, household stuff, books or CDs etc., especially tandoori breads, herbs, nuts, tea, pots & pans etc.. The store is overstuffed and hard for shoppers to pass through with large carts at hand. Good dairy products but vegetables are sometimes old so check before you buy. Just like any other supermarket check the expiery dates before you check out. There is only one assistant who is not very pleasant to talk to but he knows were everything is or what is available or not. The one cashier is more friendly with less knowledge of things and it takes time to check out during rush hour.

I have had many bad experience with Global supermarket. Their products are expired and overpriced. I bought Rosewater which tasted like water so it was fraud selling water instead Rosewater. I also bought Lentil and Peas and they were rotten. I bought a sweet one time and it was not the right product in the box. I do not recommend them at all. There are many many other places that almost have all the international product such as Walmart, AlSouq.

Unfortunately this place has a bad reputation in selling out dated & expired food items which could be very dangerous & hazardous plus some of the products they sell aren’t even marked with expiration date!! Yesterday we purchased few items & one of them was a box of baamia which is a type of sweet desert & it did not have any expiration date on the box & I asked the middle age cashier gentleman about the freshness of it & he assured me that they are fresh& in fact they get new shipment every week!! We took his words for it & took off to Texas & about 100 miles outside Atlanta we opened it up & ate one but O’boy it was so old & dry & tasted so bad & even one small bite made us sick& we trashed the whole box right away!!! I wonder how come alpharetta’s health department doesn’t inspect this stor & check all items expiration dates?!!! Some other customers have also had the same bad experience with global market ! This is really bad & unhealthy & it proves that the owner & the employees are very disrespectful & dishonest towards their customers !!!!

Some of the prices are not reasonable. Be careful what you buy; only pick those that have expiration date printed on them. A decent sized Iranian grocery store with a lot of selection. Prices on spices, tea, olive oil, and many other items are very inexpensive compared to the big name grocery stores. They even have a few Eastern European items such as kvass and ajvar. However there is a large caveat that keeps me from rating this place higher. Their stock doesnt seem to be rotated regularly. Some of the canned items I looked at had been expired for months. If you shop here be sure to check the expiration date of everything you buy.

Earlier I bought a Golchin cherry preserve and once at home I found it was defected with layer of fungus. I brought back to store and the manager told me to pick another one. I found most had layer of fungus at the top and I told manager, however, he showed no interest to correct the issue. I selected another cherry preserve brand and he charged me the difference which I was ok with that, however, he mentioned to me I need to contact Golchin directly for this issue...I found him definitely to have an attitude issue of being rude and not being a customer eccentric.

I am rating the Store 2 Star because their continued practice of selling out of date and plain Spoiled Products. Despite bringing Rotten & Spoiled items back & informing the Store Manager to control this, at my last visit I counted 17 different items in their Freezer & on shelf that was Long Expired. I ended up getting only a fraction of items I needed. For the rest I had to travel to Jimmy Carter Blvd to Al Madina Halal Market which was not convenient for me, but was able to get all I needed and saved about 20%.Some Items like Babari Bread was not available at Al Madina Halal Market which I had already gotten at Supper Global. The bread at Supper Global is always excellent quality.I hope you find this information helpful. Please feel free to comment or ask questions.

Some things are out dated, its not very organized. I recently bought baklava that the cashier told me was fresh and it was actually expired, which I found out by coworkers. Its annoying because these kind of stores are a real hassle to return to. The cashiers arent really friendly. They have a lot to choose from and sometimes fresh produce if you know the right day. Large variety of cheeses, nuts, persian cookies, pickled veggies (torshi), olives and almost every basic thing you need for iranian cooking, just be mindful of the dates. Somethings are ok expired, but not all spices and things which lose taste quickly over time.
