My Jeep was overheating and they were the closest place but were super full and couldn’t get it inside. They didn’t want to send me away so they still took the time to look it over outside and spent a good 20 mins in 90 degree heat trying to see what maybe causing it. Ultimately there was an issue with my brand new radiator install and they didn’t want to charge me since another place did the install so they got it running good and sent me to the place I had a warranty. Very nice, honest guys. I’ll def use them next time!!

I am sad to have to post a bad review since my family has used Crabapple Automotive for years & have had multiple good experiences. But with my own experience this month (May 2021), I have to say I will never bring any vehicle’s of my own or for a friend or family member again. I had the worst experience, my vehicle sat there for 3 weeks without any work being done. First they told me it was $1000 to repair & get my vehicle back. Then it turned into an entire engine replacement costing over $3000. I refused to pay the engine replacement & told them my Triple A will come tow it to another shop which is TRUE Automotive in Marietta, where I know it can be fixed. So when the tow truck driver arrived Crabapple Auto denied the tow saying they could repair the problem. Crabapple Auto basically wanted to keep my truck on their lot for unknown reasons to me. In the end I payed $155 for the tow & when I asked what I had to pay for the diagnostic, Crabapple Auto said $55 which is absurd. Any real tech/mechanic would have charged at least $150 to diagnose the problem my truck has as I worked on it myself & work in the industry so I know costs. It’s funny when I got there to help the tow truck driver, I realized my vehicle was never even inside the shop. It was in the same exact position I left it there in the same exact spot. Thanks for your $55 of lifting the hood & wasting 3 weeks of using my truck. I’m so happy for TRUE Automotive & helping me find the REAL problem!

Today was my first time using crabapple automotive, but oh my gosh they killed it. My car actually stops now lol who knew it could do that. Gus killed it, he was clearly overbooked for this week but still gave me amazing customer service and finished my car quickly. I will be coming back!

Stopped in for an oil change yesterday expecting to wait for an hour like I normally do at the dealership. My truck was completed in 20 minutes, better products (Mobile 1) and better pricing than the dealer. I will certainly be coming back from now on. The staff is friendly, professional and do a great job. Living in Woodstock, it is worth my drive!

We were quoted $1000+ for a repair that ended up less than $300 at the Toyota dealer down the road. Then my wife was charged $55 for the privilege of receiving your terrible estimate (yes just to quote, no repairs). We wont be going back and would recommend others think twice.

I came here four months ago to fix the check engine light on my car. Four months later, the same problems popped up again after spending 1500 to fix them. I’m thankful for the new front desk employee, David, I wish he was working here the first time I visited. He was the only one honest with me. I wasted 1500 and basically they could do nothing for me and hardly had a specific reason as to why they now consider my car “at its end.” its frustrating that my car has about all the same codes coming up again, yet their answer for it now is much different than it was four months ago.

After repeatedly getting incorrect diagnostics and over-priced quotes from another big franchise autoshop, Crabapple Automotive actually fixed my car and did it for a reasonabe price. I am a new customer at Crabapple Automotive. I brought my older model truck in for service (oil leaks, sloppy steering). I was given an estimate along with an explanation of what needed to be done and why the work was necessary. These folks were honest and on point with everything I researched on my own before getting Crabapple Automotives diagnosis and quote. I will be a long time customer from now on. Great folks!

This rating is based on my 2 experiences with Crabapple Automotive. The first experience involved my insurance company. I had an accident that bent my wheels and other parts that caused one side of the front end of my car to sit lower than the other. There were several issues ordering parts that delayed the repair days past their original projected completion date as they were dealing with the insurance company. Once they finally finished and after I drove the car back home, I noticed that one side was still lower than the other quite noticeably. They were reluctant, but after some back and forth they agreed to fix that issue for no additional cost. That was about 8 months ago.Most recently,not related to the first repair, I noticed that my car was leaking a fluid. I assumed it to be oil. After that I noticed that when its warm outside, the engine would turnover several times before starting. Lastly there was a loud noise sounding from the fan belt area. All of these issues developed within a few days of one another. Before I could get the car checked out it stopped turning. When I pressed the start button, one pulley would turn, but the belt or nothing else was moving. Gave Crabapple Automotive a second chance and had it towed to their shop mainly because theyre less than a mile from my house, and because I figured the insurance company was getting in their way the first time. Told them about all the issues I was experiencing before it locked up and wouldnt start. They checked it out, told me its the AC compressor and quoted me $2100 to fix it. Never mentioned in writing or in person that this repair would only get my car running again, but it wont resolve any of the other issues. I told them I wanted to tow it out to get a second opinion. We went back and forth until we agreed on $1755. After they started working on it, they called me asking for an additional $200 for something else that they discovered was wrong while repairing. I was not happy, but I told them to go ahead and fix it. After picking up my car(a day late of their projection) I noticed that the car is still leaking oil and having trouble starting when its above about 55 degrees outside. They said that they told me that the oil was leaking but because I was upset about the cost of the ac compressor, they didnt mention the cost of fixing the other problems. They said their goal was to just get the car running, Although we never had that conversation. I thought that the other issues are what led to the ac compressor locking up, and I made sure I mentioned that before they looked at it. They initially said that they told me that I need to replace my oil cooler, but we confirmed that they never did nor did they talk about repair costs. I thought that they were fixing the problems that I told them I was experiencing. They did not, nor would they acknowledge wrongdoing. I will never make the mistake of having them repair any of my vehicles again.

Had to get the annual emissions test. It took less than five minutes. I go there every year and have never had to wait. If you need a quick omissions test, just go. They were super friendly and gave me no issues.

I highly recommend Crabapple Automotive. I was very concerned that my Charger needed an expensive fix so I kept putting it off . Turns out it only needed a new gas cap to clear up the engine light . I am so thankful they are so honest and helpful. I also used them for my emissions test. Melissa does a great job.

On a rare occasion, they misdiagnosed my A/C compressor, and then refunded my diagnosis cost! Called me very sincerely and offered that the owner could exclusively look at my car the next time I come in (which was a very nice gesture.) Thats a 5-star move right there. This place is the best! I have been going here for many years. I recently went to get an oil change at a different location and they pushed me to get a coolant flush and that my air filters needed to be replaced. I decided to take it to Grey to get that done.
