Very kind and helpful staff when I was lost! If your looking for a book it’s probably there!

Books!! Thats all that needs to be said. But wanna comment on the kids section...They had a good selection of the kids summer reading list. The kids book manager is incredible. Her love of kids and kids books is obvious. Such a delight. I am in the book business and she knows her stuff better than I do!!

The smell of books is something I crave on a weekly basis. They rearranged the store and I like it. Magazines are finally starting to come back regularly so thats a nice thing to look forward to on weekend visits.

They eliminated a big portion of the psychology section. Otherwise, I enjoyed browsing.

Love Barnes and noble they have all the Avatar the Last Airbender comics and that was amazing

No seats. Starbucks entrance isnt available from the book store. It was was total inconvenience bc I have bad knees and wanted to sit a bit to brows for new books.

Every time I go there its extremely clean. Great how during covid-19 there doing such a great job making sure we stay healthy. (Which includes mandatory masks!) Will continue to shop here... Also because of the amazing service. Even though theyre not even the closest store to me!

This bookstore maintains a homey feel with polite and attentive staff. It was welcoming and open with a wide variety of books, music, and games. Theres comfortable seating and clean restrooms if you intend to stay a while.

I felt a bit rushed by the employees throughout my visit even though the store wasnt busy. I also wasnt allowed to sign up for educator program despite having digital documentation, which was frustrating.

Fun Friday night. Not crowded but enough dog friendly people to keep our girl entertained.

It is always a joy to browse through Barnes and Noble. Their selection is unparalleled and their staff seem to know exactly where everything is located. Even when the store is busy there is plenty of room to move around and several employees to assist with checkout. It is also nice to take a break with a good book while sipping a cup of Starbucks coffee that they have brewing inside the store.

Great experience. I went to Barnes and Noble on May 4th. It was a very rainy day. I was greeted right away by a female worker at the entrance. I dont know her name but she had on pink pants and a pink shirt. She helped me with ordering the book Spiritual Warfare by Jhordan Solomone. The book will be mailed to me. I thank her for all her help and I will continue to shop at Barnes and Noble. Awesome staff. I also saw an African American man with big brown Buddhist prayer beads on his wrist help a man while the female worker was extremely busy ordering my book.

Always a library for great minds. I love the urban feel and store layout before COVID-19 happened but still is a favorite of mine.

I was looking for Christian books and found a treasure here..... including a huge variety of Bibles. They also have a great collection of toys.

The best B&N location in terms of selections of books, magazines, music, and toys. Service is most excellent, too. Associate Brooke helped me out when I asked about the 4 CD Tom Petty Wildflowers set, got my information set up and the item arrived inside a week.

Barnes and Noble is already one of my favorite bookstores. Most of my best trips have been to their location at the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Admittedly, the views and the old market transformed into modern buildings have incredible appeal, but the books and media offerings stand for themselves. They have an amazing selection of, well, everything, and a book store lover can get lost in there for hours. This review refers to the Alpharetta, Georgia store, nicely situated among a strip mall and corporate park. My favorite display this visit was the Christopher Robin section, this store had the tastiest selection of childrens literature we have seen this year, I found myself trying to think up kids to buy some of these clever gifts for. My friend had an instant buddy in the sales lady, who even knew about some book releases that had been discontinued(the Beyonce book!). Good job, Barnes and Noble, smart, fun, and surprisingly affordable with a slick clearance table that will catch the thriftiest. All the stars I could muster for this one.

What a historical place with great helpful staffs. I hope people will still appreciate real books versus digital book. Very organized and wonderful atmosphere

I love this Barnes & Noble and it also has a Starbucks attached to it. Now be clear its not the Barnes and Noble Cafe Starbucks but a stand alone Starbucks that is attached to their outside perimeter. So theyre not going to have the same flatbreads and cheesecake factory eats that the cafe would if it was placed inside the Barnes and noble. So expect the standard Starbucks menu when you shop at their starbucks. Our family loves this Barnes & Noble theyre very helpful, they always have the books we need and are willing to order whatever is not in stock. if youre looking for a cozy place to read a book, or are a teacher and need resources, or just an avid book reader like I am this is a cool place to stop.Also if youre an educator and can prove what school youre affiliated with you get a discount !!! ask for your educator discount here.

Staff was kind and directed people to checkout. Love the new layout at this location. Instead of rows, there are little nooks. It makes it feel like you have your own little space or as if youre in a small town bookstore instead of a big franchise. And, I easily found the book I wanted!

This barnes and noble was very large and clean but unfortunately did not have much customer service.

Best customer service! The staff here is top notch. They are always so helpful and walk you right to the exact item you are looking for and with a smile on their face. I come here every other week and look forward to a warm greeting and the calm atmosphere as it is never crowded. Plus, there is a Starbucks attached...yum!

Loved it, though I must say in this digital age, I fear for bookstores in the future. For me personally, so long as they keep printing them- I like having physically copies of certain books in my collection and will continue to buy them. I can only hope others share the same mindset.Starbucks inside is always a plus. Nothing like sitting down having a hot cup of coffee to enjoy your new purchase.

Clean and quiet. I was inside for 20 minutes and no one even said hi? I guess that is why I buy my books from Amazon.

Barnes and nobles need no recommendations though I feel good to pen down something great about this location. Nice, clean and quite environment and a good place to hang out cause Starbucks is there. Grab a coffee or something to bite and just get loose in the midst of the literature to (en) lighten yourself.

Meh, had to ask for a seat (just had several heart surgeries) and the girl responded no sitting and reading you have to buy the books to which i walked off, when my sister started to explain she asked if i was special needs... i just couldnt with this woman so i asked where Orwell would be and she assured me sci-fi, at which point i was done with this special child of God, then she showed up with a folding chair for a slight comeback.

This is one of my favorite Barnes and Noble stores. Ive been going here for years. Its got a great layout and more floor space than some stores. The connected Starbucks is one of the better ones and the staff both in the store and in the Starbucks are always helpful and friendly.

Going to a bookstore to browse or have a quick thumping through of your favorite books is considered a lost art nowadays especially when myriad soft copies of on-line books and publication are at a click. But having B&N around and especially near or in your town is a great nostalgia. I would find myself visiting this B&N bookstore again whenever I happen to be near by.

Quick visit, but overall the store was clean, I was greeted by two different employees and was thanked for my business and asked to return soon. Very nice.

Great for kids books and toys

We used to come for ourselves and always had what we needed or could get it for us. They are helpful and seek you out to make sure you get good customer service. Now we come for story time too and its great to get my little one out socializing with other kids.

Stopped in as Starbucks adjoins the book store. Not much time to browse on this trip but will return. Glad to see this sticks & bricks of books and learning. So many are closing!

Service was truly exception! I needed two books and the lady dress like an elf took me right to each book. As this was not one of the stores I normally shop in, the helped a lot. They even has gift rapping as well so the was taking care of also

Saturday mornings at Barnes & Noble is my time to spend with my granddaughter. We thoroughly enjoy storytime and browsing the bookstore. Bookstores like Barnes & Noble are far and few. I pray that they stay open and continue to bring families and communities together through books and learning.

It is a great bookstore- very easy to access with a Starbucks coffee shop next to it and a lot of stores nearby. There are a plenty of free parking spaces. It can be crowded on the weekend but I have never had a problem to find a parking space. I used to study here back then when I was in my pre-med and nursing school.

If youre looking for a certain book or magazine you cant find elsewhere then theres no better place to go. Pity theyre not as commonplace as they used to be. Casual inviting atmosphere. Buy here instead of buying from Amazon!

This is one of the few bookstores left around. It has a Starbucks attached to it. Having a cup of coffee while walking around the bookstore is awesome. The staff at the store is great and always ready to help out and answer questions.

This is one bookstore where weve seen engaged and helpful staff. If they dont show to have it they wont push you off; they help find it. Great selection. Its not the biggest B&N, but this is a long-time Alpharetta vendor who is a solid part of this community. Like some B&Ns there is a Starbucks attached, but no shared seating so you cant take a book or magazine in there to enjoy with your drink. Easy location on popular North Point Parkway.
