I’m sooo happy they require a mask. Who wants a contaminated piece of cake? Yuck. The cake was so moist today. awesome! Keep up the good work!

I’m reading lot of bad comments, but our experience was incredibly good. I’m from another country and those cakes were the best that I’ve ever try.

Yummy cupcakes and cake slices. We tried coconut cake, strawberry cupcake, key lime cupcake and cookies and cream cupcake. All tasted good. Clean and inviting store. Definitely recommend and will repeat. Customer service was good she was alone, making cakes and taking order. I will try other flavors next time.

Sooooo I’m starting to not become a fan of A piece of cake anymore. Every slice I had from have now been super dry. I think they are selling older cakes which is unacceptable. I will be taking my business to Cami’s or elsewhere. Sorry guys y’all must do better. Dry cake is NOT IT.

Georgia State lifted their face mask mandate however the company is enforcing a “company policy” that you must either wear a mask or purchase one or they will deny you services. I think not only is it inappropriate considering the lift, but also uncomfortable for the guest to not be able to decide especially if the store is ... empty. Let’s work harder to getting back to normal and keep up with the evolving climate. The company efforts would be more understandable if the store was pack with several guests, however, I doubt they ever experienced that level of dynamic in service.

This Location which is a franchise still requires mask for people who are fully vaccinated. According to GA law and CDC people are not required to wear a mask if fully vaccinated. But who am I to tell them law. No wonder business goes down hill for this location.

This Ive 3rd time Ive had POC. 2 were whole cakes and 1 were a dozen cupcakes. They are so DDRRRRYYYY each time! The flavor is good but jeez you cant miss the dryness. I was trying to decide between POC & Nothing Bundt Cake. Ill stick with Nothing Bundt Cake from here on.

This was my first time visiting. I was just in the area and seen it and instantly wanted a cake/ cupcake. They have a good selection of slices of cakes to choose, from caramel to strawberry to red velvet, which I picked. The cake slices definitely looked really moist in the containers unfortunately that’s not how they tasted. My red velvet was pretty dry however the cheesecake icing made up for it, but then it seemed like too much icing and too sweet. I didn’t care for it being too much icing though, I could always take some off. The place looked very bland and boring. I probably won’t be back, only for my free cupcake😩😭. Cute business name though!

This place is getting so much worse with respect to freshness. Bought 3 slices of cake on Thursday, key lime and strawberry. Had to toss the key lime on same day as it was stale. And one strawberry had fungus on Saturday. They refuse to tell you when things are packed like most retailers do. They have these color codes on the bottom that only the store clerks know. This is unacceptable. All of these had a green color I believe and they refuse to give you any info. I am a member of the cake club so a loyal shopper here but no more.

I stopped at the Alpharetta location to pick up some cupcakes for my daughter‘s birthday. I bought a dozen. They looked amazing. When we got home and got to try the cupcakes they were extremely dry. They tasted not so fresh. It was a very disappointing experience considering I’ve had cakes from A piece of cake but from another location. Needless to say I paid $40 plus for the cupcakes and nobody wants any. I will not return to this location for my future cake needs. Pretty does not equal taste. Not worth the money!

I went in to purchase 10 slices of different varieties based off of the 2 slices Id purchased the previous day. I went in the previous day without a mask and today without one but the young white female stopped me before I could attempt to make my purchase amd said that I have to have in a mask. Not sure what the policy change was from the previous day but nevertheless, I left and googled and found SmallCake Cupcakes right around the corner on Old Milton Pkwy, purchased 5 1/2 and my family liked these even better. I will no longer patronize the piece of cake at 1547, 970 North Point Dr # 180, Alpharetta, GA 30022. Please train your staff to be consistent with customers, especially your African American customers. Needless to say the staff member from the previous day wasnt Caucasian.

Dry cakes at this location. No refunds or exchange as well.

Unfortunately, our cake was stale :(We had a few pieces delivered (strawberry, orange & German chocolate) and it all tasted like it had been sitting out for a couple of days. Hate to write a negative review, but with the bad taste and cost (especially adding delivery and tip) it was such a disappointment.

We have always loved the red velvet cake from Piece of Cake. Its been a while since we had it due to the pandemic. So we went last week to buy one from the store at the Alpharetta location. Not sure what happened, but the cake was awful! The cake was dry and frosting was sooooooooo sweet, totally inedible. We had to throw it away. Did you change the recipe??!! We will never go back.

Our family tried the pound cake, double chocolate cake, and yellow cake with chocolate icing. Each flavor was moist and delicious. We were very impressed with the quality of cake and will certainly be return customers.

My husband and I visited Piece of Cake on last week for the first time and we were overly impressed. He had the Cookies and Cream cake and I had the Caramel cake. Both slices were delicious and moist. The next day I stopped again to get another slice of caramel cake and my husband tried the Birthday Cake and we were extremely satisfied! My husband has since then tried the chocolate cake and said it was a little dry and the frosting was hard so...hopefully we wont run into too much of that but I definitely know well be returning :)

When you spend $5.50 or $5.93 with tax for a piece of cake, you’d expect it to be moist. It literally tasted like cornmeal. So dry and unappetizing. I will NOT be back. This is highway robbery and you should be ashamed. I can make a more moist cake that actually has flavor for way less and that is precisely what I will do going forward. #gross

The cake is absolutely amazing. Best cake I have tasted. The customer service over the phone was horrible. No matter which store u call it all goes to 1 person. She was just rude not helpful at all. I almost pulled the whole order due to this experience. If she cant even talk to me properly I cant trust she going to make my cake properly. But a friend said the cakes were amazing. So ordered and then found out you cant personalize it like write happy birthday or any greeting. Cake was great but for the price and service, I would rather go to publix. Might be worth it for wedding or big events but not a birthday cake.

Purchased some cake yesterday and it wasnt fresh. Waste of almost $18.00

I brought my wife here for her birthday. We bought 2 slices--a yellow cake with chicolate frosting and a carrot cake. We left the store to eat on a bench outside. Turns out the cake was mislabeled as carrot cake when it was an off-color chocolate cake. We return to the store after my wife bit into it to advise of the mistake. The clerk replaced the unopened yellow cake for the carrot cake and put it back on the shelf. Since the cakes arent sealed, he should have thrown the slice of cake away instead of putting it back for another customer to buy. Even though I didnt open it, its unsanitary to sell this cake slice after it left the store. After all of that, the slices of cake were dry and frosting separating from them.We will not be returning here.

The best Strawberry cake in town. I purchased for a clients birthday. I also purchased a slice of caramel cake. It was a bit dry but it was still pretty good. Staff was attentive and friendly.

Ive been doing business with POC for the last 15 years to treat my accounts. Genesis and Jonas are wonderful to work with and I can always count on them to handle whatever I may need, even last minute. Thanks for making me look goo the last 15 years. Love POC!

I walked into the Alpharetta location excited to taste what so many were bragging about! I walked out very disappointed!! First with the nonchalant attitude of the worker who didn’t greet us nor wanted to answer any questions we asked. Next with the dryness of the cake! I purchased several different ones and not one of them was moist. I don’t think I will ever want to try this place again!

The Alpharetta location was completely out of most of the large cupcakes. I then asked for the smaller cupcakes, and she started to place them in the box to only find out that they were out of 3 of the 4 kinds I wanted. I was annoyed because her only response was you can buy slices. Why would I spend more for slices that for one, I don’t know how long they have been sitting out and two, slices don’t present well. It was my husbands birthday and everyone wanted their favorite Piece of Cake cupcake and they were out of 90% of the large and 85% of the small without any type of accommodations for their lack of planning. I was more upset with the lady’s nonchalant attitude towards me! I just don’t know why some people are in the service industry.Well the good news...we ended up with good ole faithful Publix cake. The next best thing in this situation.

Ordered cupcakes for sons birthday to be delivered to his apartment on his birthday. Gave specific instructions that he would not be there during their set delivery times, but to take them to apartment leasing office. Called next day, still no delivery. They had put the order in as a shipment rather than a delivery. Not happy mom!

Tried to buy my mom, who is terminally ill, a piece of cake for her birthday and was told I couldnt because I didnt have a mask on, even though I was already in there for 5 minutes waiting.

I ordered a chocolate on chocolate cake and a white chocolate cake. The white chocolate cake was good but the other cake was dry the frosting was very hard. I ordered the cake for pickup wed before thanks giving. Went to serve cake on Thanksgiving and it was quiteEmbarassing. I set the cake aside and served the white chocolate.chocolate

Piece of cake should be ashamed of themselves for pushing these dry, almost cornmeal textured cakes off on customers knowing they must bake once a week! How can you sell me a cupcake and the icing is BRICK HARD! Im sorry but somebody needs to tell the truth because its happened on 3 separate occasions and not in the same year! This is my last time. I will not waste my money again. Btw, the snobby attitude in the Buckhead location is laughable and how come you are the only bakery that refuses to write on cakes? Sorry for the rant but no thank you to Piece of Cake!

I hate carmel cake, but this carmel cake was SO amazing that I bought myself a belated birthday slice. Its incredible! This place is amazing!

Ive had the strawberry, oreo and white chocolate. They are ok. Not very moist, and is lacking the home made taste.

This was the driest cake I’ve ever eaten, I was super disappointed especially after paying $42 for something I couldve made my self . I got the white chocolate and strawberry cake ... I tasted no white chocolate & no strawberry it was legit a box cake well at least tasted like one, that was dyed pink and white . I will not be returning here any time soon 🙄🙄🙄
