Cupcakes are moist and have a good flavor. The actual cupcake seemed to all be made from maybe 2 to 3 flavors. We ordered a dozen assorted. We have tried two and they are average/ to a little better. They are a bit over priced for the product. We are paying for having easy access up here on the Northside. But I would recommend if you are craving and don’t want to drive to Atlanta. Very good. We loved the cup cakes and they were very good. When you have that craving and live close by.It’s perfect!We have went several times…

As a personal trainer, I take my treats very seriously. This Smallcakes is one of my favorite places to grab a treat! The staff is so friendly, the shop is beautiful and clean and the cupcakes are amazing. They’re always fresh, perfectly decorated and there are so many flavor options. Today I got this chocolate cookie cheesecake cupcake and it. is. to. die. for. 10/10 would recommend ☺️💖

Amazing Tasting Chocolate Cake!!! Never thought about using them for a cake till I saw this cake on their website. I asked them to decorate the same and it was so beautiful!!! I happen to work right next door, so I get to stop in probably more than I should. These are top shelf smallcakes. The variety and quality is absolutley above and beyond. Have never been disappointed with their product. Reasonably priced and a friendly atmosphere are just bonuses.

We have went here numerous times to get their delicious cupcakes as a treat. I decided that they would be a perfect addition to my wifes birthday party. This is the BEST cupcakery! My husband and I called to find out if they could make gender reveal cupcakes for us and they went above and beyond to make the entire experience so very special. They made beautiful cupcakes with white icing on top with blue & pink sprinkles and then the color of our babys gender on the inside of the cupcake. BEST cupcakes you will ever have, hands down! The cake stays fresh and soft for 2-3 days when in a sealable container (if I have the impulse control not to eat them all immediately!). Love the weekly rotating specials too, as well as the frequent customer reward card.

Stopped by this cute little shop to test my Keto power. Obviously I lost...and won at the same time! I met baker Rhonda and talked about her awesome goodies. Pretty much everything turned my head until...I saw it. The “Irish Car Bomb”: Guinness chocolate cupcake filled with Jack Daniels cream topped with Baileys Irish Cream frosting. Oh my! She told us about all the flavors, and made suggestions to us for our kids. We bought six cupcakes and brought them home. They are GREAT! Definitely tell they are fresh. Do you know of anyone who says “I just don’t like cupcakes” and wonder how they rest comfortably at night? Well, I too, used to worry about those people, because I am a tried and true CUPCAKE ADDICT, so of course my (now) hubby and I opted for cupcakes for our recent nuptials. I knew not everyone in attendance was a sweet treat fan, but yeah, 7 dozen minis for 30 guests? I could sit down with about 5 of them and knock that out. However, to my delight and surprise, these cupcakes were enjoyed by all, even people who hadn’t had a cupcake in over a year was munching down on the tasty bites. Did we have cupcake toasts instead of the traditional bubbly? Yes we did, and that just got everyone excited for their next flavor! Thank you Smallcakes for putting the awesome SWEET touch on a day I will never forget. You have a life-long fan in not just myself, but 29 other people who will have a new standard for their cupcake eats!

The cupcakes were really very yum! Loved both the flavors that we had - the decadent chocolate and the chocoholic. They seemed slightly higher on the price, but they were worth it 🙂.

The cupcakes were wonderful and very tasty! From the icing to the cake, these are the best cupcakes my family’s ever had. Please don’t let the negative reviews regarding the masks discredit this establishment. The owner is very welcoming and you can tell he loves what he does. Love to support our local black owned business and we will definitely be back for more!

The cupcakes are delicious but I’m really disappointed they are not wearing masks. I bought cupcakes for one of my daughters birthdays in June and when I arrived to pick up wearing my mask to protect them I was shocked the girl wasn’t wearing a mask. You have to get in relatively close contact to actually get the box from them. When I ordered cupcakes in July for my other daughters birthday I inquired if that was normal and her response was we are a family owned business. I said I don’t expect you to wear them all day while you bake but I do expect you to wear one when I come in and she just flatly told me they weren’t wearing masks. I was so shocked and I debated all week about whether to cancel my order. I didn’t. But I should have. I will not be back, even after this is over. Being a small family owned business is all the more reason to take care of your customers and in today’s world, the most meaningful way to do that is to wear a mask.

I will start by saying their cupcakes are AMAZING!!! I bought the hot fudge sundae (my new favorite), wedding cake, boston cream, and cookies and cream. The cupcake is fluffy and the frosting is reach and taste unbelievably good. I will definitely come back.The place is very clean and they take Covid-19 very seriously, the owner is a very nice person and had patience for all my questions about the different flavors. Highly recommend!!

My co-workers surprised me with cupcakes from Smallcakes of Alpharetta for my birthday. Loved them so much, I couldnt hold off until I took this pic. I ate the one missing(red velvet with cream cheese icing) OMG! It was delicious! Cake was moist and the icing was not too sweet(the way I like it). I would definitely go there to order for future celebrations.

I am not a huge sweets person but these cakes are perfection. I definitely recommend checking out Smallcakes for yourself.

OMG we were passing by and decided to stop for a sweet treat, best decision! I had the lemon drop cupcakes and they were delicious. The icing has just the right Amount of sweetness and the lemon and the lemon filling was awesome. The cake itself was delicious without being too “heavy”. I will be back.

I ordered 2 dozen assorted cupcakes for a small adult birthday celebration. Everyone, including the other patrons, were wearing masks, and the cupcakes were ready on time. Everyone was really excited about the choices. They were like like kids! I think the Boston cream were the first to go.

Very nice staff. Owners are very friendly. This location has the wedding cake cupcake as the Monday special which I love. It seems like this particular cupcake is in high demand after talking to the staff. Yet, the last 4-5 times that I visited the store on a Monday (about 5-6pm), I have been told that they sold the last ones an hour or so ago. And, that I should call ahead so they can hold one for me. Well...two things. I dont think about getting a cupcake usually until I am driving by the place after I get off from work at 5 or 6. Also, it would seem that the owners could make more money if the supply of those cupcakes were available. Being told that the cupcakes were sold out and the shop is still open for another 3+ hours seems ridiculous to me. The logical response would be Why cant you make more? if you see the supply is low and there is a big demand for the cupcakes. Another solution...put it on the menu as a regular served everyday.

Fantastic!! I used small cakes for my wedding in December. They were phenomenal! I spoke with several different small cakes locations, and the Alpharetta location was BY FAR the most welcoming, helpful, and all around nice to work with. My wedding was not in Alpharetta, so they packaged up the cupcakes really well and we were able to transport them with no issues. The taste was amazing! All my guests raved over how good they were. If you want just one cupcake, or youre looking for a caterer for an event this is your place!!

This is such a wonderful shop! My experience was amazing! I am a big search Google before I try stuff I havent heard about and they lived up to all their reviews! Very friendly when I walked in and she made us feel welcomed. Now the cupcakes were so moist and tasty!! I love trying different ones and they all were great! I will be going back and will recommend. They will even ice a cupcake fresh for you in the back if you dont see exactly what you like. Customer service is great. Its a small family owned business. My 2 year old LOVES the milkshakes. Family-owned bakery which you should definitely not miss if in the area! The cupcakes are baked fresh in the store, and the family running it is as sweet as their cupcakes. I didnt have cash on me, and the owner told me I could take the cake now and pay him back another day! While my family were able to find enough cash to pay, it just shows the absolutely amazing spirit these guys have. Check em out when you get the chance, you wont regret it.

I had SmallCakes do the cake and about 350 mini cupcakes for my wedding in December 2015, and they did an AMAZING job. I came in for a tasting and Marie had all of the flavors I requested available for a taste and several more for us to take home and share with family and friends!! Not only that, but there was some other flavors I was interested in and she arranged a time for me to come back and taste those. She also arranged for a tiered cake to be used for the cut the cake wedding tradition. SmallCakes came to the wedding venue to set up the cakes for us, and left us with boxes to take home any extras after the wedding (not that the guests left many!!) We had so many guests rave to us about how good and pretty the cupcakes were. I would recommend SmallCakes of Alpharetta to anyone for anything from catering a huge event to an afternoon snack!!

I called for a rush delivery and a few minutes later, Marie was already right in front of my friend’s door only to find out I mistakenly gave her the wrong the address. She waited patiently under the pouring rain while I gave my friend a call. The cupcakes are terrific...the recipe is obviously great but also they make their cupcakes fresh at the store everyday. They arent shipped in from some corporate bakery. As good as the cupcakes are, though, Im partial to their shakes, yes, milkshakes made from the cupcake of your choice. They have to give you a fat straw to get the nice chunks in the shake.....hmmmmm good!

Ive tried a few flavors of the cupcakes and they have all been great. They have plenty cupcakes in the back so that if you want to customize one to your liking (i.e 1/2 the icing), they have no problem with it. The owner is super friendly. They are the best cupcake shop in Alpharetta (flavor wise).

Big fan initially. Last 2 times I visited - were in mid afternoon, early in the week. Both times they only has 1 cupcake in each of the standard flavors; 2 in flavor of the day. Would have purchased more cupcakes - had they been available. Unable to wait for them to be baked. Also, would be a good idea to train staff to ask if you have a promotion card (punch to earn a free cupcake). I forget about it until I am on my way home. Large cupcake today was more like the medium size (have purchased both in the past). Not practical to travel 8 miles to get one cupcake.
