This is what happened at a Honey Baked Ham store in Charleston, SC, just before Christmas 2020. My Wife went into the store wearing her mask and ordered a 6 pound ham. she then ask the clerk who was wearing a mask and gloves can you please peel back the foil so she can see the ham top make sure it wasnt fatty. The clerk then told her we cant due to Covid. She then told my Wife take it home, if you dont like it come back to the store and we will give you another ham. My question is how many times will they replace the ham if its no acceptable, Then they have to though the returned ham away. I have sent 3 letters to the CEO of Haney Baked Ham an NO response. I received nothing regarding this incident from the Corporate Office of Honey Baked Ham.
Absolutely ridiculous shipping of $71.+ when trying to send a meal to a whole family with Covid. Honeybaked right down the street but had to order online because they dont deliver and wanted it to family ASAP. Please do not order from this company online.
We spent almost 95.39 on a ham for Easter. Stood in line for about 40 min. Asked for double glaze or to purchase extra glaze on the side. We were told they dont do this anymore. We opened the ham on Easter to find barely any glaze at all. The whole purpose of honey baked ham is that delicious glaze. We are so disappointed. On top of that I have tried calling corporate several times and unable to get through. Unreal. 100 ham and not even done properly. I get that they were busy but I dont think that being quick is better than quality. So disappointed.
I am using my business site don;t have a personal one.A month ago I purchased a gift certificate for my brother for a Christmas Ham. He is having financial troubles. Yesterday December 23rd he stood in line and waited for his turn to get his ham. He was told their system was down and he could not have the ham and it would not be up for two weeks.This simply is not right. Now he has no ham for Christmas and I am very upset.What company system is going to be down for two weeks during their busiest time of the year.I personally think they wanted him to purchase another ham which he did not have the money to do.I HAVE PURCHASED FROM THEM FOR MYSELF AND HIM FOR YEARS AND WILL NEVER DO SO AGAINI treid calling for help. I have been a customer of Honey Baked Ham for over 50 years back in their beginning Detroit days. I have been ordering gifts for over 20 years. I have always been delighted with them...until now. I placed a gift order yesterday for my daughter. I made a mistake on the shipping address and evidently didn’t push my address list for the correct address. When I got my confirmation I saw it was coming to me. I immediately called customer service and got Josh. Josh was excellent. He understood my dilemma and empathized sincerely but was unable to do anything. Have started my own career in customer service, I understood and had him escalate my request. He got a supervisor, Natavia, on the phone for me immediately. Nativia refused to escalate any further immediately but said she would send my concern up the line but that it would take 72 hours for a response. Because my order was “closed” but not shipped, that would make it even more impossible to correct. She gave me the UPS website and when I asked her to email it to me she refused saying she couldn’t. Really? That was the frosting on the cake. It was a simple request and everyone can email. My husband’s unemployment was just stalled and I can’t afford to spend $150 for myself. I know that isn’t your problem but it is mine. I am very disappointed with your company’s response. I will continue to try all avenues until I get resolution. Including disputing the credit card charge and posting this review on other websites.
First, I love Honey Baked Ham so this not an easy complaint. No receipt, machine wasnt working properly. Purchased a sliced package which shocked me how bad it was when we got home. We live an hour away so there was no taking it back. Small cut pieces with a huge 1/4 inch of fat through the middle of each! Looked like it was cut around the bone. Color was whiter than usual. Some pictures below, Original and what I had to cut out. Didnt expect all the fat. I usually buy a ham, but with Covid and not being able to view, I went to the slices. This is my 3rd purchase of slices this year. The previous 2, quality was 85%. This one was garbage. Perhaps its time to change your packaging to include a viewing window. Covid is here to stay. Grocery stores sell whole chickens in open viewed packaging. I will not buy a ham for $70 + and get home to disappointment. Been on good for the Ventura, Ca Honey Baked Ham. Ive been holding for 2 hours. My time on hold kept going down, someone decides to put me back at caller 59, when they just said I was caller 21....Very frustrating, and bad customer service!!!!
I paid for a turkey almost a week ago. I received two texts today telling me I had a certain time to come in to pick it up. I was there on time, actually a bit early, for my scheduled appointment. Stood in line, got to the front and the lady told me they were sold out of turkeys! What is the purpose of pre-paying if you dont have any guarantee you will have it when you arrive? My last time coming here for sure!
Can not use gift cards at Anderson store. People were given gift cards for Christmas and can not use them because the system has been down for days! Where’s the owner getting this fixed!
This company is the worst. I received a gift card from my employer, but the code did not work on my order. I called Tuesday and spoke to someone who couldnt help me at all and said her manager would call me that day. No call. I called on Wednesday asking for a manager. The first rep hung up on me, the second rep sent me into some voicemail which is full, the third rep hung up on me and the 4th rep tried to help. I would be nervous to eat their food, based on how they run/manage their business Id be concerned. Ridiculous waste of time.
I went to the Stone Mountain store at about 4:05 PM. There were two customers standing outside. There were several customers inside apparently finishing up thier orders. The door was locked. A young teenager was turning away customers. Closing early on News Year Eve is a bad practice. Turning away paying customers bad customer service. Ham is a big part of a traditional southern New Years meal. You have lost me as a customer.

Really inconsistent company. I’ve been trying to use my gift cards for 2 years now and they make it really hard. Either the stores close really early, or they don’t even sell sandwiches. Every location is like a different company. Some places only sell meat, some locations don’t have a menu during holidays. And then there are locations that are completely opposite and have a full blown restaurant inside with amazing food. I accidentally found a honey baked CAFE location and was blown away. Totally different company with different food. This is how all the locations should be.
I love the ham.but one thing did bother me at your college park location.a lady wanted to look at a second ham and the girl told her they were all the same.they are not because some of the glaze is off and sone not.she looked so hurt.because the lady beside her looked at several.
Great place for lunch eat in or outside sitting staff very friendly and knowledgeable highly recommended

The employees are so nice and friendly and professional.
