This shop is just on another level. No exaggeration - this is probably the best customer experience I’ve ever had at a retail store. If you’re in town, and in the market for a guitar, going to KSM and asking for Glenn is the way to go. Incredibly knowledgeable, very friendly, and understands the guitar trying and buying process. Im not saying Im being racially profiled, but every time I walk up in there, I always have older white gentlemen talking down on me. Its disrespectful and unprofessional to a growing musician like me and I feel very unwelcomed. I know its Marietta, but nobody likes your white boy confidence, so please keep your employees attitude in check, even if youre going through a hard time yourself

The Ken Stanton store at North Point is an outstanding music store. I have purchased numerous guitars from the great folks there. Glenn has always been very helpful and patient and gives me the time and space to try out the various instruments.

Very professional, knowledgeable, honest and fairly priced. Not to mention Steve Moss ( the Guitar Teacher ) there is very good.

I have taken drum lessons there for over a year now. The staff is wonderful. Glen and Chaney have spent a lot of time with me when it was time to buy a new drum kit and hardware. Mitch Kiley is one the best music teachers I have experienced. He teaches drums and helps me with my band pieces as well. I do all my music business there.

Ken Stanton music has outstanding customer service. This time of year the store is very busy with school instrument rentals. The 6 staff members and 2 extra part time employees work as fast as they possibly can with each customer. My husband and I purchased a high end guitar and waited patiently for our turn. The staff could not have been more helpful, professional and knowledgeable of their products. We tell everyone one we know who is interested in purchasing an instrument at Ken Stanton Music in Alpharetta.

I had a very nice experience. The staff will let you play any guitar you want, and they are very knowledgable about guitars. I feel comfortable in Ken Stanton and that is a credit to their welcoming environment. The staff is approachable and easy going, which I like.They have fair prices too! Happy with my new Taylor guitar!

I waited a long time to get my things, such as my book, mouthpiece, and care kit. The care kit was not that bad, coming in after about 2 days, but the mouthpiece came after 15 DAYS-- For ONE MOUTHPIECE. The book, though I had to wait even longer, but after I called them, I felt better about the service, as the employees were very helpful. The customer service is very good,but the shipping time is cruel.

Their employees are great. Was looking for a guitar and rather than pressing me for going with something more expensive, the guy picked out some in the price Range I had told him and gave opinions based on the style I played on what would be good. He even encouraged me to go elsewhere and shop to make sure I had the right guitar for what I wanted.

While they dont have as much merchandise as a place like guitar center, thevprices are much more reasonable and the employees are much more knowledgeable. They are also very attentive, polite, and helpful. I will always choose to go here as opposed to a guitar center.

I dont write reviews unless the service and/or store is exceptional. Ken Stanton Music in Alpharetta goes way beyond that. Over the past 50 years, Ive been to music stores in California, Texas, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and some around the Alpharetta/Roswell area. I can honestly say that the Ken Stanton store has them all beat, hands down. Jared McDurmont, the store manager, and his staff, Rob, Cheney, Mario, Joe, and Jacob are friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. The thing that impressed me the most, though, is they listen, then make suggestions that would accommodate your needs or solve your problems. And they all genuinely care that youre totally satisfied with their service. Horrible experience ! My son has to rent a band instrument from this company. We received the instrument at school with the promess that if he would change his mind we could go to the store and exchange the instrument not problem. After 10 days he wanna to change the instrument, we went to the Alpharetta location. NOBODY would know what to do. Firs we were told that we were moot in their system because they havent had enough time to enter all the customers of the past 2 weeks. We wait for one hour and a half before someone had a clue of what to do. They were happily taken new customers, new rentals but not us. To make it worst finally the manager figure it out but ran my credit without my personal approval for a rental! Are you kidding me???It was at least 15 employees at the store at that time, even tried other instruments took forever because they did not had enough mouth pieces available. My son had to decided between 2.I wish I wont have to go again but sadly our school is working with this company. If you can decide run away as fast as you can.

I purchased my guitar here a year ago, as a beginner, after a friend referral. I had actually purchased a guitar a month prior at guitar center, I didnt know what I was doing. They tried to get me to go with one of the mini guiars but I wanted a full sized. I picked out a nice one but after a month I wasnt able to play certain chords because the neck was too thick. My friend told me about Ken Stanton, I went. I really liked their attentiveness and knowledge. They didnt push me to purchade any one particular guitar. Matter of fact they just said play around see what feels good and we will find simething you can afford. The guys at Ken Stanton recommended I try to return my previous purchased guitar. I did return it and went back to Ken Stanton. They fitted me with the perfect guitar. Its beautiful has a bright sound and it fits in my hand. I continue to go to Ken Stanton for all my guitar/music needs. They are the best! Exceptional service and people!

I bought a flute here then a month later it breaks while doing an E flat I am upset because I went again got it repaired then 3 days later it breaks

Great customer service!! Technically Im not a customer, I havent bought anything from them. My son was having issues with his saxophone, some notes were off, I brought it in for repairs. Tom worked on it, made adjustments and didnt charge me anything, this happened twice!! I feel that they really try to help and not just try to make a quick buck.
