Upon walking in I was immediately met with the delicious scent of fresh baked goodies and a friendly greeting. The 16oz flat white latte was perfect and honestly probably one of the best Ive had. I had only went for coffee but when I saw the fresh giant cinnamon rolls and before I could finish saying nothing else I had to grab two of these bad boys and it was the best decision I made all week. This cafe is so friendly I was in there laughing with the amazing ladies who work and own it. I will definitely be back! Go Padres!

Place was absolutely delicious. The person behind the counter was kind and knowledgeable. The food was head and shoulders above a restaurant even.Wife ordered a white chocolate mocha that would put Starbucks out of business. So happy to see this level in Alpine.

Expensive! Very friendly staff, over-icing sugard almond croissant that tasted a bit weird/stale. Pineapple cooler was nice.

Such a good, quick breakfast! Chocolate croissant, pretzel and coffee were all delicious. If youre a fan of caramel syrup, add the house made caramel to your coffee/latte 😋

Very nice staff but the açaí bowl I got was not good (more like a smoothie and the banana was so ripe it was almost rotten tasting) and they do not have wifi

CroBean bakery and coffee is incredible!! To start, you are always greeted with the friendliest smile and hello. The owners are absolutely amazing and you can tell the passion they have for all that they do. Everything in this bakery is delicious. My favorites are the ham and cheese croissant and all of the loaves of bread made here. To be honest, the hardest part of going is trying to make the decision of what to eat that morning. It is a wonderful treat and I always feel less guilty knowing that everything is made fresh, all organic and full of love! I recommend you try it, but, warn you may become addicted!!

This quaint bakery is a great place to stop for coffee with a friend. The selection of items from pastries, to dessert, to bread or macaroons will satisfy any finicky eater or connoisseur. Service is fantastic too!

My husband does the running of errands in the morning & he stops at this new local bakery. When we first tried their fare, 5 months ago, the Ham & Cheese Croissant was pretty good size, that two people can share. Its very good, fresh & good cheese. Lately, the last one we got had shrunk, smaller, therefore, not enough to share anymore 😯! We didnt mind that it was pretty pricey for their products, as they do make some delicious & specialty baked goods. I just wish they dont cut costs & sacrifice quality & quantity. They are such nice folks & we want them to succeed, as such that we shall come back again & see if my favorite Ham & Cheese Croissant is worth the trip.

We had never been here before. We always said we were going to stop but before today we had not. We were glad we did. The woman behind the counter was so sweet and nice!! I loved the quaintness of the place! I got a chocolate chip/cream cheese in the middle croissant. My friend got a coconut macaroon and cheese croissant. It was okay cause we didnt realize it would be crispy, we were expecting soft. We would go back again.

Best pastries in SoCal!

This place is the best kept secret in Alpine - and it shouldnt be! Their pasries and fresh bread are made from scratch and ALL to die for! No preservatives, no additives, just plain goodness! If you are heading out of town on east I-8, you must stop in on your way through. You will not be disappointed! Yum!!!!

Perfect backcountry coffee shop. Great coffee & pastries. Fresh baked bread to take home for dinner. Great stop to a scenic drive out to the countryside of San Diego.

Best ownership ever.

The pastries were so fresh that the only menu is viewing whats been baked and stocked in the case for the day. I had a huge fresh baked cinnamon roll right after it came out of the oven around 6am and it was amazing.

Just wanted to review this place & people working there. Great & friendly people & service, food A++++. The croassan I ordered was so good. Heard about this place while leaving in Alpine, but never had chance to go. Finally moved out of town & made it. My morning start up bad today so when I left I realized I forgot my purse there with all my money, cards & documents. I’m glad they found it & I got it back, nothing was lost. Thanks will be back there.

Ordered strawberry shortcakes the day before a birthday party and they were able to help me out! Everything was handmade, fresh and moist. In the last two weeks I would say I have tried a good assortment of everything they bake. My favorite so far is the fresh croissants which were buttery, light and flakey. Can’t go wrong with anything in there all delish and I didn’t have to drive to little Italy. Try the desserts before they sell out everyday.

Wonderfull experience all around! I love it when new places move in, especially ones like this that set themselves apart from other similar places in the area. I would take my business here over Starbucks any day!! Their coffee is fair priced...and their baking is by far the best I have had in this part of East County. We had a ham and cheese croissant and an iced coffee, our kids had a chocolate, and a jalapeno croissant....amazing!! The loaf of bread we purchased, asparagus and garlic, was very crispy and fresh. I wish it had more of the garlic and asparagus inside the bread, maybe large chunks...but thats ok. We will be back for desserts and to try more breads In the future...believe me....you will not be disappointed.

The giant cookies look good but they are dry, dont order. The lemon bars are just okay, skip it. The croissants are AMAZING, order them!!! I am going back for more and I want to try a loaf of bread. Coffee is good! From March/2020Updated 2/2021- 5stars!!! Mexican Mocha is wonderful! Not to sweet, mild spice and cocoa flavors. Croissant bread pudding is AMAZING!!! Totally worth the $7. Happy suprise, the bread pudding had chocolote instead of gross raisins in it!! It was so delicious. My new favorite treat. I put it in the oven at 350 for 20 mins when I got home. Crispy edges, soft inside, flavor was yummy and not too sweet. Cream on top was great too!
