Eclectic furniture shop with a rotating inventory. You wont find your typical furniture store items here. If youre looking for something unique or possibly even repurposed, this is a great place to shop. Would definitely recommend if youre looking for that one item to make your space unique. Worth the drive to Altamonte Springs.
Its a great collection of old and new. A lot of really unique items at all different price points. We have found some cool pieces in there and enjoy meandering through it! You should definitely check it out!
Y’all, I think I am in love with this store. So many fantastic finds at reasonable prices. What a gem!
A great location to find some unique pieces! They have a rotating collection so if you see a unique piece you love I suggest you grab it as it may not be there the next time. The store showcase some great custom / handmade pieces, including furniture, art, decor, etc. Great spot to find a piece to make your house really pop.The price points are higher than other stores, but considering its all made by individual persons and not machines, its not surprising! My suggestion would be that you take a good look around at all the items on offer and get a really good feel for everything they have there. Follow them on social media as they regularly post new items in the store. And definitely follow the vendors to see what their up to and what their making!Overall: A+Great spot to find that unique piece to make your space really extra special. I love that they have such amazing unique items!
This is one of those places that you hate to tell anybody about because you want to keep it to yourself. This is a place you will definitely have to go if you like things out of the ordinary. The people there are very nice the places always clean and they make you feel welcome. And bring the old man with you hell really dig it.
Love this store! So many unique things, furniture, artwork etc. You never know what treasures youre going to find!. Love it!
Was a nice place. Full of interesting articles, many unique pieces for home decor
Today was a wonderful unexpected surprise. My husband and I stumbled upon this amazing store, called Adjectives Market. A must to visit. The various goodies for sale was a breath of fresh air. The workers went far above helping and searching for what we wanted. Big shout out to Emily and the owner. I apologize for not remembering the owners name. We plan on going back again and again. Shopping at Adjectives was an adventure and I recommend this fine and fun establishment to everyone!!!
Great place..Definitely will be back!
I love this place. Beautiful stuff.
Love this place. First time there today and I’m going back today to get that one piece I can’t find any where else. And nothing was over priced.
Amazing. If you are looking for something special and unique this is your place. Staff were spectacular
Absolutely a gem. so well laid out, with a blend of class antiques and beautiful furniture. Ill be shopping there for old and new! and a section of refinished chalk paint pieces!
I read so many positive experiences about Adjectives I wanted to just sample a view as I had a little free time to do so. Let me say, I was literally blown away upon walking in. I immediately knew that I needed much more quality time to indulge in my massive adventure here! With the help of a phone call to a team member it was easy to find, plenty of parking as well. Although my visit was more devoted to satisfy my curiosity I left with items I just couldnt live without! There are Adjective Retail items and novelties as well as unique wares from local artists and vendors. From furniture, artwork, skin/body care essentials to creative gift ideas - its there. There is plenty of friendly and approachable staff in the huge complex to guide shoppers and complete purchases. Thanks Madeline! Always in circulation a shopper never gets lost in search for assistance.
OMG! Was able to get the perfect small gifts for coworkers here!!
I was looking for interesting pieces to decorate my new home. If you love the hunt for unusual, vintage objects - This place is it! Not only did they have original artwork and reclaimed and reworked furniture, but handmade jewelry and clothing. So many nooks and crannies to discover. Fun place to get inspired and spend a few hours looking. Definitely will be back to check out new incoming stuff.
We havent been here since it moved, but this location is wonderful! Always something new and interesting to find. The staff is accommodating and not too pesky and they have free water and rotating punch (today it was holiday cider). 10/10 would get lost in here. Not recommended for small children due to the number of breakables. But older kids (12+) would be fine.
Wonderful people... Great stuff...
Super awesome store with so many unique and creative pieces of furniture and decorations. My girlfriend and I spent about 3 hours just browsing and enjoying it. Things are expensive but we ended up getting chalk paint for a project. All in all great 😁
This place is unbelievable! Doesnt matter if you buy or browse for ideas. Its very big and full of different cool furniture and wall decorations from several artists. Put aside a couple hours before you enter. Your going to need it!
Went to buy bridal shower gift at suggestion from a friend. Place reminded me off a cluttered thrift store. Especially the rude old lady chastising the help. Was appalled to find out she work d there.
Very nice place. TONS of unique antiques buy many different vendors. Hand made candles smell other worldly! Only problem is you cannot contact vendors directly, wish they gave out web info so you could inquire about how firm the pricing is. But still an excellent place to visit and buy nice things at!!
We happened upon this store in search of the Annie Sloan chalk paint, little did we know it would soon become one of favorite places to visit. It has such an eclectic vibe. Love how unique each piece is. We are recurring visitors :-)
I really like this business. Employees are super friendly and whether you are buying or not, it’s fun to just look around. It’s nice they stayed in the area and facility is much bigger and better layout than when they were across the street.
Love this place mix of first hand and antiques
Always some new treasure to find. Love this place.
Great place to find exclusive pieces.
Always interesting items & very friendly staff!
CANT say enough good things about this place and the people that work there. The owner was amazing, he was so sweet and helpful. CANT wait to go back. You Must check them out. 5 stars
Lots to see
Awesome place. Mixing the old with the new is a great concept. Wonderful customer service. It was an exceptional experience. Will definately go back when I visit the area again.
Really unique place! You can find some cool things. Prices vary depending on the vendor/maker but its definitely a cool spot to check out
OMG I Love coming here !!This is like the most upscale flea market Presenters.I never leave empty handed..So happy To come here at least every other month!!
This very unique store has all kinds of one of a kind designs for your home. It is more of a shabby chic, urban deco style, for the creative people who want to buy or build a furnishing for your home that is as unquestionably unique as you. The employees are very helpful and if requested, they will build the piece for you for a nominal fee. A great place to browse and purchase your next piece of furniture.
First time walking into this store from a dear friend of mine telling me I had to go check out the awesome store and all their unique furniture so I did today, and they have great unique modern & antique items!I have no problem with the store in general but as I and my friend were walking through the store someone whom I though worked there but apparently was a Vendor there, since I learned they have particular vendors rent out certain areas of the store, he comes and says to us“This isn’t a museum! Go and Buy something you know? Go and Buy something, Not just look around!”Not sure if he thought this was humorous to say but I was pretty offended!Beware of their rude vendors throughout their store. The actual Employees of Adjectives Market are pleasant and nice but will not be back.Don’t need this type of service while shopping!
We were interested in purchasing a dining set (about $4000). I spoke to Lisa and asked if the store would consider a discount since we were buying the set. The answer was: we can offer shipping but we are not a flea market. Just wow lol
Yesterday I over heard an employee talking about how they are trying to become like West Elm. I really hope that they dont lose their image. It seems to me like they are slowly pushing away from the antiques and becoming a department store. It is hurts to see a store that used to be great slowing fading.
I love this place! its impossible to leave with empty hands.
Before you read this post, keep in mind that I never leave reviews anywhere virtually, but after my horrible experience at Adjectives Altamonte location yesterday, I felt this needed to be shared. While I was washing my hands yesterday in their main restrooms, the lights completely shut off on me to where I was left alone in the bathroom in absolute pitch black darkness (due to a defective motion sensor light). For a second, I thought that the whole of adjectives had lost power, but I didn’t hear screams from anyone else outside the stall. I was terrified but i knew i had to keep it together. My hands were wet and I couldn’t find my phone to use a flashlight so I fought the urge for tears as I listened for the sound of the rushing water on the sink to feel around and find where I had placed my phone.Once I found my phone I realized my hands were still wet, I put my phone in between by legs while I quickly dried off my hands with my shirt. (This whole time I’m moving around and flailing my arms in the stall and the motion detection lights were obviously faulty since it was still pitch black around me) Once my hands were dry enough, i slipped while trying to walk toward the stall door. I turned on the flashlight on my phone and that’s how I finally was able to exit the stall. Once I’m almost out of their bathroom completely, is when the lights finally turned back on.At this point, my feet are in pain and when I finally confronted the store manager, Elizabeth Marsh, about it, she looked at me with a sly smirk as if I was making up the whole situation and gave the fakest “I’m sorry” you could ever hear. She asked belligerently if I had needed them to call an Uber to get medical attention but glared at me until I signed a paper saying that i had no injury. I kept asking what if this pain gets worse later on, to which she said that we need an accurate report on what you’re feeling now, so that if you walk outside and break your arm, we have report that it had nothing to do with this. The whole experience was so unprofessional and her attitude was atrocious. Her tone, body language and everything suggested that she didn’t care about their having a fault light in the women’s restroom. I’m lucky that It wasn’t worse, but they didn’t even make an effort to correct the problem. Please if this can help anybody, go to any other Adjectives store but this one. It will kill your experience with the store, like It did mine. I’m never stepping foot in this place again.
This place is AMAZING! Its lots of small venders selling really unique pieces. If you see something you like dont wait. If you do it wont be there when you come back. I love adjectives!
Great furniture pieces, and whimsical delights, pricey, with no wiggle room. Very easy to lose an hour and a half in strolling around. Grab stuff when you see it, things move quick!
Love this store. Always has unique and different items every time we visit. We bought a few treasures in there including a dresser and night tables .
Very nice selection of inventory. I shop here a few times every month. I do not have much interest in the vintage clothing, however I see hipsters eating it up. I always find something interesting here!
Leo and mike thanks so much great job.
Always changing and great pricing
Best antique decor abd furniture. Not junk on side of the road. They have everything! Big and small.
The store has amazing decors and a great set up but my only problem is everything is overly priced. Lots of the stuff are antiques and purchased off estate sales for dirty cheap and they try to flip it and sell it for much higher. I also see a lot of diy stuff that you can do your self for much much cheaper. Everything I looked at or was consider getting was way over priced and I often find way better deals at Marshall and home goods. There’s no reason fake plants should cost 7-10 dollar a piece when you can get it at hobby lobby or Joanne’s for 2-3 dollars. Even when they have their giant annual sale nothing really gets marked down to a reasonable price. I see so many people walk around and not buy anything and people laughing at how ridiculous some of the prices are. Inventory is hard to move in there because of how expensive everything is and they would make a lot more profit if everything was price reasonably.
Wonderful place! So many beautiful items. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Everything here is unique and they have various styles of furniture and decor.
Cool vintage items. Some antiques. Large store. Very nice and clean.
My wife and I love this place. Beautiful furniture and decorating items.
Took an annie sloan paint class today. Helen & Theresa were phenomenal. Cant wait to take another class with them.
Very interesting, good eclectic mixture some antiques and good quality furniture.
Beautiful space with great furnishings and complementary pieces the repurposing of interesting furniture is very well done highly recommend stopping in and seeing the lovely work that they have also I think the prices are very reasonable for the work and time spent on the pieces in the quality of them
Amazing...not your average antiques ( junk) mall. Clean, arraigned well, some good bargains
Special event was great. Selection is always abundant.
Staff was so helpful.
Didnt know about this place until i was driving home yesterday from the enzian theatre and im so glad we stopped. this store is huge and there is a wide variety of vintage and antique items for sale! we spent 2 hours here because there was so much to look at and marvel at. we came at about five so we stayed till nearly closing and we didnt even get to finish looking at the whole store so i am definitely coming back on my next day off! theres a set of gloves and an antique mirror that i have my eye on! (: the staff is also very pleasant!
I love the store and I enjoyed my class with Damian, very thourow, courteous and patient, I love the outcome of my little project, thank you Damian and many blessings to you and family!
This is such a great store always something new and interesting for your home
We love the Adjectives Market in Altamonte. We seem to always find some kind of treasure there.
Great experience Trending furniture and decorating accessories Ask for RJ or Cory if you want or need extra help
Loved the place but when i asked at the front desk if i could speak to the owner of a piece of furniture i was interested in the clerk told me, in a very snooty tone, we dont negotiate. oh, excuse me!
Great refinished furniture, antiques, art, repurposed items, handmade items - great prices
I really miss the old store. Ive been going there for years and ever since they moved to the new place across the street it has become very cold and sterile. Its no longer the quirky, eclectic place that it was. Its now very hoity, toity and posh. The furniture is ridiculously priced. Its got this very Johanna Gaines/Fixer Upper vibe that Im just not into. If you have a lot of money to spend on furniture that looks like it came out of an old barn or off the set of a HGTV show then go here. The staff also used to be so nice! They seem to have gotten rid of most of the old people and now they have a bunch of employees who cant even look up and greet you. Where did all the normal people go?
Fabulous, wonderful creativity and reasonable pricing. Loved my experience.
A relative of ADJECTIVES MARKET....interesting furniture and antiques, some used in non traditional ways..call painted, hand finished, modified and repurposed...fun place to wander and find one of a.kind home pieces
