Authentic gelato. Spot on flavors. Super cool staff. Everything was clean, new, and sleek looking as well! Definitely worth a visit!

Have you ever watched a Food Network Special or Discovery Travel special on Italian Gelato and thought, dang, Italy is so far away and this crazy pandemic doesnt make it any easier to go visit and get my gelato? Well, your worries are over! Monte Gelato, authentic Italian gelato right here in Central Florida. Honestly, if youre looking for authentic gelato taste, the same taste you would find in Italy, look no further!! This is the place!! The one problem you will have is how to taste all the available flavors which all look amazing. But i can atleast give you two recommendations, the vanilla and hazelnut, tasted amazing. So do yourself a favor and go eat some gelato at Monte Gelato!!

Pulled up and the open sign is on and the hours listed. Walk up to the door to find a post note saying be back at 4:15. Unfortunately that’s almost an hour away. We were really looking forward to some gelato.Edit: I was surprised at how quickly I received a response to my note and an offer of a free scoop. With that timely customer service I changed my rating. Unfortunately I was in town visiting and no longer there. Hopefully one day I’m back and get a chance to try out the gelato.

Had a chance to taste some of this yummy Delious Gelato 😋 What a treat to try so many flavors. We ordered this Gelato for a party, and every one Loved it and kept asking where was from. I told them, and they will be coming to visit your store soon. We cant wait to taste your Gelato again. And thank you for being so nice to us, excellent customer service :-)

The gelato here is fantastic! Made in house and the flavors are wonderful. It reminds me of the gelato I used to enjoy from Capogiro in Philly. Like that hallowed place, the folks running Monte Gelato are the real deal. Do NOT pass this place up. I LOVE this place. The gelato is sooo good (even just the basic vanilla is to die for) and my husband tried a cappuccino today which he said also was very good! The owner is amazing and gives fantastic customer service. Even better knowing you’re supporting a small business that has true love, passion, and time that goes into making the gelato daily which makes it that much more special. If you haven’t gone to check this place out I definitely recommend doing so!

I have been to Italy and sampled gelato in Florence, Rome, Lucca and Sienna....this gelato transported us back! They had a great selection of flavors, including some that I havent seen since visiting Tuscany! The gelato was fresh and the place is very clean. Cant wait to go back!

Delicious and made fresh daily gelato by authentic Italian recipe 🍧 🍨 😋 The best gelato I’ve ever tried, especially good flavor was tiramisu but don’t limit yourself. Love the place and walking around that plaza.

Finally a real Italian Gelato in Orlando. So good. The owner is from Italy.

We just went there to eat our local authentic Italian Gelateria, Monte Gelato. My nine-year-old daughter was writing an essay about her trip to Rome during Christmas 2019. So she googled Gelateria near me, she found this hidden jewel. We decided to give it a try. We loved the authentic taste. I tried my favorite usual flavor: hazelnut, or in Italian Nocciola and Stracciatella. It was so creamy, delicious, fresh, nutty and sweet. My daughter got a Tiramisu and a Milk Chocolate gelato. My husband had Stracciatella and Black Cherry gelato. The gelatos were excellent that we bought an extra one for our son who stayed home, a Stracciatella and Milk Chocolate gelato. Giacomo was an attentive, friendly, and a wonderful man like a true Italian. We ate there and enjoyed every minute of it. The locale is clean and bright. He had some modern Italian music playing. Im grateful that my daughter found it. It was so well worth it. We are so lucky that its right here in Altamonte Springs. Its easy to find.

The place is top notch from the gelato,variety of flavors and being greeted by giacomo the owner with his italian accent and laid back personality. I highly recommend monte gelatin but a wendys chocolate frosty is still my favorite.
