Everything about this theater was lovely except the seating. With so many theaters offering leather recliners. The upright red velvet styled chairs are uncomfortable and carry a smell you just cant get rid off. No matter how much cleaning they do. The staff is welcoming. I thought the concession and bar area was great and the screens were nice with quality sound.
Employees said customers are starting to return, though when I am in a theater watching a movie there are plenty of empty seats. The AMC theater in Altamonte Springs Florida has been very clean each time I visit. Food counter employees pleasant and courteous. Beverages here include adult alcohol beverages at the bar along with the usual items at the food court counter. There are 18 screens, and include the special Dolby and IMAX styles. If you join one of their member programs you can earn points for food and tickets, and receive discount ticket pricing, along with selecting your seats in advance so you dont stand in line at the ticket window.
This was our first time to this AMC Theater and it was great! The staff was so nice and polite. The theater was clean and I felt just fine and safe during these COVID19 times. We’re AMC Stub Premier members, so we were able to make our thicket purchase online and walk right past the box office where they scanned my QR code and was able to do the same at the concession area. There are two sections to fill up your drinks, one on the left and the other on the right. The theater itself was clean, sound quality was good and of course, the stadium seating is a major plus. Our chairs did have a slight recline in them which was nice. We live in the Kissimmee area, so we usually frequent the Disney Springs AMC so it was nice to see a different location and to see AMC is a great company no matter which location your at. I will say I absolutely loved the movie quotes on the ground and movie moment photos throughout. There’s also a parking garage you can use so you can return to a cool car. Great location and next time we’re in the area, we will definitely return.
Had such a great time. Did a private theater rental for my daughters birthday and they had a great time. Because i pre-ordered snacks they were ready to go before the movie and because it was 20 kids packs they put them all in 2 boxes to make them easier to carry. I already booked again for December for my sons birthday as well. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Cant wait to do it again.
It’s decent, but I only come here when Disney springs AMC is booked out. The seats need to be updated ASAP! You would expect at least the IMAX theater (which you pay extra for) to have comfortable seats. It’s kind of embarrassing to still have 20 year old red fabric seats when all other theaters have nice reclining leather seats.
Very nice ammenities. Great parking situation. This location has the AMC bar. However post pandemic the concessions are insanely expensive - $8 for a regular popcorn!?.
Best theater in the area. The Imax and Dolby screens are awesome. Popcorn is some of the best and Ive never gotten bad service! Love this place.
I love this movie theatre and the staff are great I always feel right at home here. Theyre prices arent too high for most considering the unreasonably high prices movie theatre concession stands have reached. The parking lot is huge, they have a nice variety of movies showing and their bar is also a nice touch.
All of the theatres are very clean and have great viewing angles regardless of where you sit, but the highlight is of course the Dolby Cinema. The reclining seats are extremely comfortable, the sound system in the theatre is second to none, and the picture quality is outstanding!If you frequent going to movie theatres, I would also highly recommend using their A-List subscription as well
Saw venom the theater was clean and well kept. I ordered my food online and that worked out well, just had to pick it up.There was a child next to me coughing the whole movie, when he wasnt talking. I wore my mask the whole time. May just buy out the seats next to me to avoid this.
Except for a couple of people, the staff are not friendly or motivated to be there. No one smiles or greets you. Poor morale, it seems.The mens bathroom is gross with watery sinks and urine-soaked floors.The drink machines, condiment service and food pick-up areas are stinky and stained with spills and have debris sitting there.Im supposed to get A-List preference at the concession lines, but I find myself having to get the cashiers attention or else regular moviegoers get served while I wait. The number of cashiers is scant.The cleaning of seating is almost always a sloppy job. Food and debris neatly tucked under the chairs, arm rests and seat cushions are stained or have food caked in. Sometimes, the floor in the seating area is wet with soda spillage, forcing moviegoers to track that junk into their cars and eventually home flooring. You need cleaners and then an inspector to double-check their work.I dont understand your commitment to public safety regarding Corona when there are numerous germ and bacteria hazards everywhere you look.Last but not least, offer more ORGANIC and PLANT-BASED food and snack options at AFFORDABLE prices. Youre missing out on a multi-billion dollar consumer base that is NOT eating at your establishment.
Please update seats to leather recline they are old upholstered with gum stains and or rips. This ruins the experience for me. It does help some when the lights go off and movie starts I can sometimes forget.Please do better. Great location Great Employees but I would rather be home because of this.
Been going to this theater for 5+ years staff is always nice and will give you movie recommendations if you ask both the normal theater and the imax theaters have nice layout and seats and the staff keeps the theater clean(make sure if you see a spill to let them know they are always on top of it)

If you go earlier the movies is less crowded and its easier to get good seats. Also my favorite place to see movies in IMAX.

They need to clean. Sat on the top row and theres splashes of cheese and butter all behind the seats and entire row. Floor so sticky my shoes stuck, hard. Many seats had nacho stains or butt sweat marks. They need to replace all seats and sanitize like theyre supposed to be doing. All else was good, but cleanliness is important when youre sitting through a 3 hour movie.

I enjoy going to this theater. I’ve used my A-list to purchase my tickets and when ordering from the concessions, it’s never been an issue. Always watched movies in Dolby theater and it’s always clean. After reopening from Covid, it was a smooth transition. It’s by far my favorite theater.
Very clean theatre. They have a great selection of concessions to choose from. My friend got cinnamon pretzel bites and popcorn. They also have quite a few showings of different movies.
I enjoy coming to this location for many reasons, but I do wish they would renovate and update all the theaters for a better experience like other locations. I like the Dolby theater but I was just there, and it seems like they pushed all the seats together, so you dont even get any space between other people.

Pretty clean theater. Seats would be much nicer if they reclined. Concession stand was, as expected, very expensive. Movie/sound played clearly, and without any interruptions. Not overly crowded for a Friday afternoon. Would visit again.
I love the movies! This was the first time out since COVID started and I thought it was cool that you can rent a private theater and watch a movie with up to 20 people in it. That is a great idea in the current climate of things and felt good to see a movie. Only reason its a 4 star is because it costs so much for snacks. We bought 1 kids snack pack, 2 small drinks and a small popcorn and it was $30. That is just too much for snacks. I feel like small is large for everything at the movies now.
Always enjoy a good theater flick.. only really go here for the Dolbey with signature recliners theater.. and of course the POPCORN!

The Dolby theater is the nicest theater of this location. Currently, masks are recommended for all regardless of vaccinations. The biggest complaint I have is the concessions crew, particularly for the premiere/A List lines.Most of the crew only pays attention to the standard lines, and the premiere/A List line which is a “perk” that you pay for is not felt by members of the line. This line moves so slow, because there aren’t enough staff to facilitate the lines at a non-glacier pace.When we unpaused our A List membership late last year, we started going back to the movies around September/October & one of the offers AMC tried was giving us free food through preordering snacks, the issue is the wait to actually receive the food ordered. We would wait 10-15 minutes for employees helping guests in the standard line, we gave our selves a good amount of time before our movie but then we’d be late to our own movie. If this is something that AMC wants to do for big movies coming out, they need to have more staff and specific staff for picking up food.The demographic that this location attracts from the mall is horrendous. Most movie theaters have you reserve seats in advance- it’s a standard and needed because people still try, unsuccessfully to pull a 2010 move and sit in your reserved seat, then the staff get involved, which makes it awkward for all. This type of incident still happens too often and this particular example happened in the Dolby theater for our showing of opening weekend for ‘Jungle Cruise’, said guest let out a F bomb in front of staff even when the staff asked him not too use that language, when the staff member walked away said he wanted a refund, and that everyone in the theater should get a refund. That type of behavior is unacceptable through previews up to the start of a film for any guest. Not AMC’s fault but that’s the type of guest this location attracts. 🙄Overall if you’re nearby, get a movie at Dolby and enjoy but if you have your pick and can travel, the West Oaks, Disney Springs location offer actual perks and better service.

Very clean, sanitization stations were available through out. This was my 1st going to the movies during the pandemic and I actually enjoyed myself. I had my mask on until it was time to eat my treats, then back to the mask.
For the most part when I visit AMC theaters they are dingy and just seem dirty. This AMC in Altamonte mall is nice and clean and carries a great movie atmosphere with nice recliners. Unfortunately the Recliners dont go all the way back but that isnt a big enough nuisance to knock a star off. The staff was friendly and the popcorn was tasty! Definitely recommend this theater.
AMC is great. love how they are handling the reopening. Disinfectant wipes in front of every room.

Clean location. Popcorn was salty for some reason. Didnt like that the seats in the regular theater doesnt recline. You have to purchase IMAX movies to get the good recliner seats. 🤨
AMC Altamonte Mall 18 is a great movie theater. As you would guess, it is right next to the Altamonte Springs Mall. There is tons of parking from the mall and two small parking garages. They have the latest movies and screens like Imax and comfortable seats too. They even have a full bar and all the normal movie foods.
The theater was clean, but the concession area was a mess. They were rude and the food was cold and the popcorn was stale. The movie was empty which made it better

It was nice and clean but couldnt injoye the movie cus there was a bunch of teenager that was loud and rude kept talk and we had to say something a few time to them got up to tell someone and all they did was send someone in to walk around they would walk rite back out never apologized or made the kids leave or be quite so we left half way through the movie smh

This theater pre pandemic had an issue with people sneaking into movies and it still does. We had to leave our movie the other night due to this. The group that came in and sat by us were being rude and loud before the movie and during the movie. They had their feet on the chairs in front of them even though people were sitting in them. The final straw for us was when they decided to lift up all the arm rests and lay down across the seats and put their feet next to my arm as if they were at home. We got up and left 30 min. into our movie and all they did was laugh when we left. We did tell mgmt. and they went in to check if they had tickets and found out that they didnt along with a lot of other people. They kicked them out and offered us free tickets to come back but we told them it wasnt necessary because we were A-List members. We avoided this theater in the past for this reason and we might have to do it again if it continues.
Worst service ever spent $200 for a movie food and drinks. Pizza was dry! I order 2 margaritas which were super sweet, so i asked to buy 2 extra shots and they said NO! What kind of bar denies you drinks? They said only 2 drinks at a time ridiculous. Don’t plan on coming here if you wanna have a good time and eat good food because this isn’t the place to come!

Nice. Clean theatre. Not the lounge seating but comfortable and assigned with good amount of space between patrons. Concession line seemed to move pretty quickly, so that made us happy because we were a little behind getting there for our movie. We kept our masks on except when eating, but I noticed most took theirs off when they sat. Will definitely go back.
This location was clean and the staff was very friendly. Looks like they were running on a skeleton crew, but it didnt affect service. The theater itself was clean but the seats arent comfortable . Looking at the theater I just thought it would be more comfortable. I dont live near this theater, but I would return here in the future.
So me and my husband went here to see the movie The quiet place 2 and two teenagers five seats away from me were having sex!!! FIVE SEATS AWAY FROM ME!! Good movie tho..
Went to see Godzilla vs Kong with some friends in IMAX. Theatre was packed, but social distancing was still in effect. Popcorn and drinks were good. Will definitely drive the extra few minutes to go here instead of the Regal that is closer to me.

Seats were comfortable with recline feature. The rumbling of the sound system was great. Brought Godzilla movie to life. Food and drink is expensive, always feels like its a bit crazy to charge so much, but its just what we deal with when we go to the movies right?

This theater attracts the worst people. Example, last week, we went to see Cruella and there was liquid butter on my Dolby seat. Also, if you pre order food before your movie, know there’s no one that will be there to help give you your order. We’ve waited up to 20 minutes and finally had to go to the regular line to ask for our order. AMC, please don’t recommend a service if you don’t have the staff to make it happen.
Great service, but $15 to go see a movie, gives me great pause. Its understandable why on a Saturday, the movie theater only had a handful of people.
Love it here. BUT last time I came, after paying an exuberant amount for a large drink I came to find out there was one drink machine working with VERY limited options.

Horrible experience. The manager was rude and did not accept my cousins passport as a way to get in to the movie. My cousin is over the age to get in to a rated r movie.

Fun, clean, and with tons of theater types and movies. It also has a full service bar. We recently rented out an entire theater for the cost of about 5 adult tickets for an older movie. It was a blast!

You may have to take out a second mortgage to afford snacks, they are a bit over the top with mask mandates, and I miss all the people in the movies sadly... it feels like a ghost town but everything tasted great, good film and very clean!
So far the best theater to open up. The theater is big, comfy seats, great Dolby surround sound, and they have all their concessions open. Most theaters just have basic concessions but they offer lots of food, fountain drinks, candy and slurpees. Oh and they dont accept cash right now, only cards. If you bring cash youll have to buy AMC gift cards to use.
Its good. Great mall has the movies that come out has tons of snacks (wish it would have fresh hot food) but its good. Staff is usually sweet never had an issue with them
Dirty seats and they are not the nice recliners like all other AMCs. Needs updated bad. All theaters smell musty.
