Aaron immediately greeted us with a warm welcome as soon as we walked in the door. I have had nothing but a HORRIBLE time with this company through and through. I would NEVER recommend someone to put their trust in these people they don’t care to even deliver the right mattress and then when u want a refund and the wrong one delivered to be taken away they are as slow as can be to get that or anything even done. Customer service call center or whatever it is SUCKS they are unimaginably slow to get back to you and give attitude when you are already having a bad day thanks to the company they work for. Most people I’ve interacted with are new and not properly trained. All in all go to a newer mattress company or just someone who actually cares about your business. The people loading the truck from the wear house or the guy pulling the mattress from the truck were MOST at fault for not even bothering to check if we were getting the correct one. I know mistakes happen but I am so let down. I’ve been sleeping on an air mattress waking up sore and having a hard time falling asleep so I was excited to finally a good nights sleep and paid a good amount of money for that to happen but no instead I was let down. Also I’ll repeat the customer service line is near useless they don’t even bother to get your situation handled in a timely manner. LOTS of time wasted.

I typically DREAD going in to any furniture, mattress, dealership, etc. type of store because the sales people jump on you the second you step through the door. Our experience on this occasion was VERY different. My husband and I made a random visit to the store just to ask some questions and were greeted by a smiley associate, Austin. He let us know he was available if we had questions and told us to feel free to browse. He answered every question we had with great knowledge and helped us find a mattress that would work for us. Despite it getting close to store closing time and our two year old getting cranky, Austin did not try to rush us out the door in any way and remained happy, friendly and informative the entire time. My husband and I are both extremely pleased with the service we received From Austin and highly recommend that everyone visits this location and ask for him.

I purchased the Kelburn II mattress a few weeks ago. It has been a great mattress so far and the quality of my sleep has improved dramatically. The mattress has been stayed cool during the night and has been a firm mattress that still feels soft.My girlfriend and I worked with Aaron. The sales team is great. However the delivery service is terrible my girlfriend ordered her mattress and adjustable frame two weeks ago. When it finally shows up there is no mattress!!! I am scheduled for delivery on Monday. Their policy is for the customer to wait for their very important mattress from 8am to 8pm. They will call 1 hour in advance before the delivery. That is practically telling YOU to waste the whole day for them.These people dont know about the science and statistics behind waiting. I waited until 1 pm and nobody called. I know that the probability of receiving a call in the next hour increases given that there was no call in the first 5 hours. The longer you wait, the probability of getting the call increases; and so I wait .Then they did not call but I need to go some place near but very important. And then I received their call at 3 pm. I told them I will rush back right away and I may be late a few minutes and I ask them to wait a few minutes in case I did not arrive in 1 hour. More importantly, I also made it CLEAR to them to have the item delivered the NEXT DAY in case i did not catch them home.When I arrived at the gate, I learned from the guard who keeps time of everything that they came in just a few minutes ago and so I rushed home thinking the truck was still there. But it was not there.I just missed them by a few minutes, maybe 5 according to the guard. So what happened? The moment they rang the doorbell and nobody answered they JUST left. No call saying they are at the door. They just left knowing that you may be near. They are so important than you that they did not even wait a few minutes.Also from the business side, would it be better for them to wait a few minutes than to reschedule altogether given that they know fully well that i was already on my way home?These geniuses have some weird company policy to follow that when nobody answers the door they will not call to let the customer know that they are there but they will JUST simply LEAVE. These geniuses cannot reason out that waiting for a few minutes is the best for them too since their alternative is to spend a whole new delivery schedule for you.So I expected delivery for the next day (Tuesday). Then came 12 noon and receive a call that no one is coming. I just wasted 2 days for these geniuses. They are offering to do it on Wednesday. I have had enough.Their You waste your time waiting for us from 8am to 8pm policy is practically robbing you of 1 day. This tells you the company you are dealing with has no concept of commitment and quality. 12 hour variability means you cannot do anything in the morning, and you cannot do anything in the afternoon. They should apply science and use scheduling programs to lower the VARIANCE of their waiting time. That 12 hour variability on delivery is just unacceptable.I also ordered some furniture from other companies and they are able to tell me in advance that it will be on xth day between 2-4 pm, not 12 hour gap. And they did arrive at that time. So i know that apps/programs like that are present and they should innovate too.They should use scheduling programs that calculate the optimal route of the driver and allows them to tell the customer with better accuracy. 12 hours is just not accurate.It is VERY easy for a truck to leave in the morning filled with mattresses and the program estimates the time for every delivery address and they call the customer early in the morning to let them know the ETA for the day. Others can do it so they just have to make it happen.

Normally, picking out a bed takes multiple trips to multiple stores and usually pushy sales people.First, let me say that Aaron was far from pushy. He was very courteous, answered a multitude of questions about every aspect of the mattress. He gave us privacy as needed and made some excellent recommendations based on my concerns of how some mattresses felt on my bad back.Mattress 1 had so many options on their floor, it was truly a one step shopping experience. Standard, hybrid, foam...multiple brands, firmnesses, models and styles.We spent about 3 hours there and made our decision. Again, Aaron helped us make the right decision and we even purchased the adjustable bed platform. He worked hard to get us the best price and we are sure to continue doing business with them any time the need arises.Go check them out - you won’t regret it!—————————————————————-***Update: though I give Matress 1 Altamonte 5 stars, I give the delivery people a NEGATIVE FIVE 5 (-5)The 2 men spoke not one word of english and dropped one of my adjustable platforms by being careless. They did not wear a mattress one uniform (sweats and a tshirt), showed up in a U-Haul, had my $2500 mattress practically laying in the middle of the street all bent with the corner propped up on the corner of the truck, left a mess in the street when they left, dirtied my carpets because they did not wear protectors on their shoes -( it was raining) - the top of my dresser was soaking wet - when they unwrapped the mattress they left the wet plastic on top of my dresser. It was a nightmare - they did not even have a screwdriver with them to take the planks off of my bedframe.It was a very stressful hour, and they actually spoke three English words upon departure - “no tip, no money”Very annoying using Google translate to ask them if they ever installed one of these adjustable bases before. One man had to show the other guy how to grab and lift etc... I almost kicked them out of my house and told them take everything back with them. Never again - if someone doesn’t speak my language, they could turn right back around and not come into my home.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. If you want a mattress then DONT BUY AT MATTRESS 1 ONE. They will tell you they have it in stock, then call the day before to inform you that the warehouse records were suddenly wrong and the earliest they can get the matress restocked is a week from the original delivery date...That is IF they actually reschedule your delivery, they ended up telling us we had to wait almost 2 weeks for our matress. If you ask for a refund thats another two weeks. This whole ordeal literally took a month to settle, with us ending up asking for a full refund, cause the mess wasnt worth it and they dont deserve my money for their poor services. Even trying to call the customer service department is a joke in itself! They wanted to gives us complimentary pillows for the month long inconvenience. Uh, no thank you! Just a complete lack of professionalism and organization, theyll say anything in order to make a quick buck. AVOID AT ALL COAST!
