My car had been totaled by someone running a red light, so I was looking for a used car on a very tight budget. After looking at a lot of overpriced junk on other lots, I asked the folks here what they had for my budget. A car had been traded that day from living most its life in Cali. They worked with me on price and after some elbow grease of my own once home, its been an amazing car so far. The A/C didnt work and I was told that upfront, however once home I cleaned all the filters and recharged the a/c and blows ice cubes now. I was very happy with the service, honesty, & follow up.

We had a great experience with this lot. Cars are priced to move. And we even got a warranty. They worked with us on the price to. Nice clean cars with low milage. Nice sales people willing to work with you. Would return again .

I didnt have the best experience here last winter. The scary part is I almost applied for a loan. I thought the vehicle was a 2014 Jeep Patriot according to what I first saw on the website but it was a 2012. I backed out without being accusatory or anything but got harassing texts anyway. All I said was I thought it was a 2014.

Love the car. But whatever garage handeled my engine swap did a horrible job. The customer service is not the best, always seem like my bussiness is an inconvenience to them. Wouldnt be going back.

Horrible Place the truck the had on line was nothing like the one we went and saw the pictures where very deceiving. Also he had us put $500 down to hold it till we got there to look at it. We were promised are money back the next day when we didnt purchase the truck. Its been almost 2 weeks and we spoke tothem numerous times and told they put it back. He called my husband on Christmas and said he was returning the money to r card. Its now 29th and still hasnt been return. I am going to now have to take legal action.

If you understand that these are auction cars and do your research before buying a vehicle people would be happier with results and that being said I had an issue I went and talked with them and mike did everything he could to make it right

We will NEVER buy another car from Starter Cars. We bought our vehicle in February and have had nothing but problems since purchasing. THEN when I called about a transmission issue that was covered under the warranty (I checked) I was given the run around until my warranty ran out! Dont waste your time or money. Update: 10-17-19 less than a year after buying this car I just paid for a TOTAL ENGINE REPLACEMENT! This is now a matter for my attorney because I am in almost as much at the car is worth in parts, labor and repairs. One star is too good.

I bought my 2012 Kia Sole here about 4 months ago I am in happy with it the car makes a horrible noise on start up. I contacted them a few times on this and there only suggestion was to keep it or trade it in the car was under warranty had it a few places they all said it was internal but the warranty company would not let them Tate it down to fix it. Now I’m stuck with paying for this car. I asked the owner to please extend the warranty another three months at no charge to me but he never called me back after he said let me check your contract so I will never refer anyone to go there to buy a car or I will never buy another car there. The sales man that works there Mike is very nice and tried to help me . The owner should be ashamed

If I could give no stars I would . Purchased a vehicle for 17k that they bought 2 weeke prior at an auction. Auction listed thr car had frame damage and had a depreciated value . I was never told it had frame damage which by law they are required to disclose. I will be contacting an auto fraud attorney to get my money back .I have proof they knew it had damage based off the auction report

Oh 1 is too good trust me! Needs negative 5!Update... Was called by the finance company they asked a few questions... Asked if the vehicle was in good fair poor mechanical condition I cant lie so I said it need some work. They said well we cant give a loan untill its fixed. 30 seconds later owner calls and say basically call them back and lie tell them its a good and I quote I PROMISE I WILL FIX WHATEVER IT NEEDS ILL SET IT UO RIGHT AWAY ECT ! I call back several days later no one knows what the m talking about and he is to call me back ! Guess what ? NO CALL .needs front brakes and rotors, exhaust fixed, headlights have water in then and cant see anything at night was promised this would be resolved I got out right lied to Ill be calling the finance company back to let them know what they are dealing with. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!I WANT A REFUND FOR ALL REPAIRS . I dont trust them to touch my vehicle now.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I bought my Dodge Caliber in April of 2017. After purchase, I drove home and the check engine light kicked on. ( I live about forty-five mins away). Called dealership immediately and they referred me to a garage. I also left with a three year warranty on engine components. I had a new transmission and on way to Altoona next day the car overheated and left me stranded. I had it towed to garage closer to home. I needed to replace the coolant housing unit, exhaust manifold and intake. The warranty of course wouldn’t pay for any of it. I called the dealership again, this time I was told they would trade me out of it. I told them fix my car because I don’t want a different one. The only other response from him was “I don’t understand why you’re upset towards me?”Really!?!? You make a living by scamming people!!!!! Today I picked it up after having a second new transmission put in along with a new motor mount and guess what? Engine light is on again!!!!!!!!! I’m in over $1300 now and car goes back into garage again tomorrow! Have any car from here thoroughly checked by your own mechanic before considering to purchase. I DO NOT recommend Starter Cars, but I DO recommend ATS in Altoona, they have been nothing but great.

Worst place to buy a car. Only one star because it wont let you give negative. Bought an $8,000 car and it had a bad head gasket. They replaced the motor with one from a junk yard!!! Then they refused to fix it at all. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! Youve been warned

Walked in there on February 26th of this year looking about getting a car. The guy had me fill out a form with my personal information including my social security number said he would call me back the next day to let me know what he could do for me. I heard nothing. Called on March 1st, spoke with a woman, she could not find my application anywhere, said she would have the guy call me Monday the 5th. Here we are, March 7th and he has yet to call me. Something shady about that. Filing a complaint with the BBB.
