My husband and I are in the process of moving and have needed a large quantity of packing boxes and the folks at this location have been amazing with their efforts to assist us with regular and apple boxes over the past several weeks and continue to work with us to make our move more enjoyable!!!

I buy all my gas for my business here. These people are not only friendly but they make you feel like a valued customer. They address people by name when they walk in the door. Ive noticed whenever I go into the C-Store everyone is always happy and so helpful. This is truly a model of what Hy-Vee is all about. The Customer. and A Helpful smile in Every Aisle.

Even though I live closer to another gas station by my house- I continue to go to Hyvee gas station here in Altoona. I go occasionally (Monday-Friday) for coffee & I know for a fact they have excellent morning staff!!! The staff is marvelous and super helpful/friendly. In down pouring rain, I was escorted by employee named John with his umbrella! Amazing! Also, Jeff the manager is super cooperative & will go out of his way to make your visit the best he can. I always look forward to my coffee trips- thanks guys!

Well if youre going to have a conglomerate such as HyVee, all of them should work together. I had cards from the HyVee in Newton for something free. HyVee in Altoona didnt respect those cards. And the clerk was a little bit of a d***. Im sad this will be the HyVee I have to go to from now on. Time to star shipping at Aldi in WDSM on the way home.

The staff here were extremely helpful when my wife ran out of gas this morning. They even offered me the gloves they were wearing in the freezing temperatures. A+ service

All of the hard work Altoona Hyvee Gas has put into making customers feel welcome when they walk in the door, is wasted when people like BRIAN (a 50+ year old man child) get off scot free for disrespectful behavior. For talking rudely about customers when they walk out- IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. I used to have mad respect for this place and thought Brian was a nice guy. But, I was very wrong.
