I tried to look at mattresses at this store tonight. It was a horrible experience. The very pushy salesperson was obnoxiously rude. He wouldn’t allow me to just look around. He basically told me that all mattresses except the most expensive were garbage. I went down the road to buy a mattress because he was complaining about me wanting to look at all of the different mattresses. I work in sales, and understand needing a commission. This guy has zero people skills, and will undoubtedly drive customers elsewhere.

The salesman was knowledgeable and straightforward. They were able to identify what I wanted out of the mattress and was overall enjoyable to talk to. The place was clean and well put together. It is also local which is a huge plus for me. An absolutely fantastic experience.

He didn’t try to pressure me into anything, listened to my wants and helped me to figure out what I liked and wanted best. He made the process really easy and was a very interesting individual. I did not receive the mattress I chose in the store..my back hurt from sleeping on it He told me I needed to break it in! When I tried it in the store it was wonderful but when deliver ed ..awful!! I had to order a 2 inch jell pad to make my 495$ mattress tolerable!

The people were very helpful. They did not force me to buy something I did not want. It was an excellent experience. I would definitely recommend them if you need a new bed.

She listened to what we wanted/needed and did not just try to sell us what she wanted us to have. Brooke, such a young salesperson, blew me away! I was impressed with her maturity, confidence and knowledge and directness. I had visited other mattresses places in the day and while the salesmen were very kind, they lacked the belief and full conviction their mattresses were the best. Not only was Brooke awesome, but the owner too! He adds 2 years himself for the warranty because he believes so much in his product. Their mattress quality is excellent, warranty excellent, people, prices-just fantastic!

Lowest prices for the highest quality. I spent $12000 on my last mattress that lasted almost 5 years. My mom gifted me a Lebeda mattress knowing the problems I had with my old one and spent 1/3 of the price. I have had it for 10 years with no problems and expect to get another 10 years out of it. I recommend Lebeda to anyone and everyone, and would give them 10 stars if I could.

Our sales person was experienced, informative and knew his product. He knew what questions to ask us and directed us to the bed that would suit our needs . We purchased our first Lebeda mattress and had that for 18 years! We tried a less expensive mattress from another chain and spent 5 years sleeping in misery. Once again, my husband and I are sleeping peacefully on our NEW Lebeda. We certainly appreciate the “no pressure” sales and the quality product!

I walked in and as soon as I stepped foot into the room, Laman warmly greeted me. I did wait for maybe 5 mins but thats because he was helping another customer. But as soon as he finished helping them I was his sole focus and he helped me get fitted with an amazing bed that was in my price range and even gave me a deal! All in all great experience at lebeda and I 1000% will be going there for my next bed. If you do go and get a bed ask for Laman he is you man!!

Most certainly I will only buy a mattress from this store. location, location, location and this stores location is good, standing right on a corner lot, easy to get in and out of easy to park right by the door. Then, once inside the store, Mr. Alvarez and staff take good care of you! And on the delivery day of your purchase Michael and his staff will deliver you a mattress in very fine fashion. We were really happy with just a $10 fee to carry out our old mattress for disposal!! Thanks Lebeda, Ill be back soon.

Went here to get a mattress. Store manager greeted me and asked what I was looking for. I said I wanted to look at full-queen sized beds around $200-500. He then froze, his smile disappeared and he said that they don’t sell cheap mattresses there and I should leave. I was surprised by his change of character and asked him what they did have, at this point he had gone back to his desk and said he didn’t have anything for me.I was never rude to him and was very polite but I’ve never been treated this way by a sales person. I will never give them my business.

I had a very good experience at Lebeda.. Friendly salesperson and he didnt push me into anything and was very friendly and helpful. Delivery was prompt. Bought it and had it delivered as soon as 2 days later. Mattress is just the right firmness and i sleep well on it. I would recommend Lebeda to anyone and everyone.

Lebeda to the rescue. After buying a mattress from mattress firm back in the fall of 18, went from good choice to what have i done. The mattress flattened within a few months. I didnt have money to get another mattress until now and it felt like Id rather sleep on the floor. My friends told me about Laman and i can say. I went into Lebeda because I needed a custom mattress for my antique bed. Lamont was extremely helpful about getting the exact measurements he would need and explaining the process the factory takes to make one. We looked at the selection of mattresses, talked about the different ones and I made my choice. I felt no pressure into buying something I wasnt comfortable getting. The whole process was without a doubt a stress free experience! I highly recommend going here!

The first time I came around the store manager was really nice and helped me figure out what mattress would be the best for my preferences. I got a twin XL and decided that I wanted to upgrade and get a bigger size bed, so I went back a second time to exchange my mattress and everything went very smoothly and I got what I needed.

Went to Lebeda in Ames looking for a mattress. wasn’t sure what I was looking for exactly but the manager there seem to be able to read our minds. He asked us a few questions and narrowed down our search to the perfect mattress. He was very knowledgeable about everything in the store and mattresses in general, and he explained it so professionally and easily that we understood everything he was telling us. There was no pressure to buy but alot of good help given to find the perfect bed for us as well as above and beyond helping find us each a good pillow that met our sleep position . I bought my son a new, larger bed at Lebeda today. Got a good deal, and the salesman was a very genuine, decent person who took the time to help us find a truly good fit. I am still sleeping on a Lebeda bed that I bought from the same store 14 years ago. It’s still a good bed. Lebeda sells quality beds, bottom line. I recommend them.

Checked out other mattress stores in town with less expensive mattresses before visiting Lebeda. You could feel the springs when you layed down. Here I got a quality, thick, plush mattress for about $60 more. Lebeda was able to deliver and set up 2 days after purchase. Very satisfied with the service, quality and value of mattress I purchased.

We had a wonderful experience with wesley at the mattress store. We went in to find a mattress for our 7yr old daughter. He treated her like she was a special person choosing her bed. He was a very pleasant man and great to work with. We checked out some other stores in the area but decided to return to Lebeda to purchase our mattress because of our experience the night before and it being the best price for a plush mattress that our daughter had chosen.

Laman did a wonderful job of selling us a high quality mattress that fit our budget a few years ago. We liked our queen sized one so much that we came back for the same type in a king size this year. We highly recommend stopping by and checking out their stock.

I had lived in Ames for ten years before moving to Ohio in 2012. Missing Ames and ISU... My wife insisted to buy the best (and the more expensive) mattress from Lebeda which cost us $1,000 at that time. A big investment for two poor students but after 15+ years we are still using it and it is still exactly like new! There is no any falling down or body-shape presenting on the mattress. On the contrary, such deformation appears after a few days of use of another cheaper mattress ($600) we bought in Ohio. When you buy stuff, do not just compare prices, compare the quality-price ratio! Lebeda definitely has the highest score. I was a teacher in ISU and the professor of the year 2008 of the mechanical engineering department. I believe many mechanical engineering alumini still remember me. So you can trust my review.

There selection and quality is better than anything in town. They dont tell elaborate stories about their product and they just tell you what you need to know to make a well informed decision. The staff is very knowledgeable about mattresses and furniture. You can definitely tell they are here for the customers and not out to make a fast dollar like the other stores.

Amazing i loved or entire experience.I needed to special order a full size mattress.And our sales person was so friendly and knew exactly what my son needed.I was super shocked that they would Custom make a full size mattress 12 inches longer then normal to our specifications on Thursday, and have it delivered on Friday by 2pm.

I have purchased a Legacy mattress 3 years ago and I am so happy how much support I continue to get. Lebeda Factory produces well built products that lasts for years. My pressure point pain went away immediately in my shoulder after a night on the mattress. The customer service was impeccable. The manager tried to save as much money for me as possible by delivering the mattress personally for free. I am so grateful to have a place in Ames I can depend on.

Just bought our 8th bed from Lebeda Mattress Factory. The quality has been excellent. Our original bed lasted long beyond the expected lifespan and still has enough life in it to be used in the guest room a few more years! Prices, especially on sale are reasonable for a mattress made right here in Iowa. Pleasant experience purchasing each one with no pressure from a commission based environment.

Salesman and manager told me the same things I learned about different brands of mattresses on the Internet. They were very knowledgeable and professional. Proof to me that they were not trying to pull the wool over my eyes like other mattress sales operations I visited. Refreshing. Manager and sales person even delivered the mattress after the store closed the same day we purchased. Unbelievable. After three nights sleeping on the mattress, this is the first time in 15 years that I have awakened in the morning with no backache. My husband and I went to Ames IA to Lebeda Mattress Factory to replace the mattress that we actually bought there 17 years ago. Our old mattress has held up so well that we wanted to stick with quality. Our salesman, Laman Alvarez was very helpful and honest. We went in to the Ames store yesterday very frustrated after buying a Sleep number bed and hating it!!! Brooke who is a very young associate and we were afraid would not be very helpful. I already had a mattress but I needed a box spring and a frame. I had an apartment in Nevada and they gave me the in Ames price on delivering the items.The owner personally made the delivery late in the evening and carried it into the apartment. He set up the frame and helped with the bed. Very helpful!
