I had an emergency service from them and they handled it extremely well.I lost my serpentine belt on I35 just 2-3 miles outside of Ames. I was only able to make it to the nearest gas station. I called them just before closing and they took my order and delivered the needed parts to me and followed up with a call to check that everything was all right.Thank you Michael, excellent service!

As always the service department is very professional. I had to have the car towed to your location on the weekend. Service manager called right away to let me know they had the car, and that they would perform diagnostics and get back to me. The quote for repairs was exact $ amount of the invoice. Car was done earlier than promised. Cashier was polite, friendly and professional.

I dont recommend this place, it takes a long time, a bad service and they broke a part to my car. Supposedly they said they were going to order it but that was only when I called about it. I doubt they would have done it if I didnt call.

All I can say Id they have gain a family for life!! I had went to capital motors in DSM(NEVER GO THERE!!). It was a horrible experience! Went to Georges and Mark was great, got me into the truck I wanted. There was something wrong with the paint on the hood. He not only went above and beyond to fix the issue. My daughter had car problems. Unfortunately I thought a dealership would be honest and fair. Not George white and his buddy Randy. They quoted a price of 5k. I asked for paper work and found based on their own parts list they over quoted me $1000. And even then it was padded.They give a bad name to used car salesmen.I would never have them do service fixes unless it was under manufacturers warranty. But even then Id find another gm dealership.

Bad attitude of the staff! Got charged $85 for just diagnosis of the car issues which is not even totally correct! The quote for repair is insanely high. And the car was purchased here! The ignition coil got broken after only 27k mile! So watch out for bad made Chevys!

I had my transmission flushed, and a recall taken care of and picked my truck up the same day. There was zero damage done to my vehicle while serviced, which is my number one concern when getting my vehicle worked on due to some visits to the local ford dealer. The only thing that I would change in my visit would be to have a loaner vehicle available so I could do my errands.I will definitely be back!!Thank youTrevor Butler

The leaking seal was found on the inspection after getting my oil changed. I was given an estimate for the repair and the final cost was about $20 lower than the estimate!

I wanted to take a moment to share a few words about the amazing experience I had with the GW Chevrolet service department. As an owner of a foreign vehicle, I have always taken my car to the dealership for any work I have needed because I thought no one else could work on my car and know what to do. Being that there is not dealership in Ames for my make, it is often a drive for my service or work. This week I had an inch of water on my passenger side floor and a schedule with VERY limited availability. By a referral from another satisfied customer of GW Chevy, I reached out and they immediately got me in to fix my issue. I cannot tell you how great they were to deal with. Technicians even took my carpet out of my car and made sure it was dry for me when I picked it up. And not only can they work on ANY car, they do it for much less cost of taking it anywhere else. They always get my truck in right away. The price is generally in line with what I have paid independent mechanic shops. The waiting room is clean and comfortable, with coffee, cookies and television. Or they offer rides home or to work if its going to take longer.

Paul White is a crook. They will sell you a vehicle and talk about customer service. Just wait until something goes wrong with your vehicle. I had to lemon law my vehicle and wait for the GM district rep to come out to get things right. It took over a year of phone calls to fix the disaster this dealership caused when they scratched my entire vehicle upon delivery. Do Not trust this dealership!!

Yah its was totaled but i dont mind the air bag light the black electrical tape hides it on the dash perfectly. I will find the fuse myself and deactivate it on my own after all its as is.
