Always enjoy going into the store. I always find things that I am looking for for my projects.

This location is always clean and organized. A great selection on craft, birthday, holiday, Coke-cola, and movie theater related items. The staff is always patient and kind.

Hobby Lobby is fantastic! If you cant find what you are looking for, it probably doesnt exist! A really fun store!

I am very happy with the work and customer service provided by the custom framing department at Hobby Lobby in Ames. Michaela has helped me with a total of seven works of art, ranging from small watercolors to be matted and framed to a limited edition, 24”x36” print that was triple matted and framed. This was a special piece, signed by the subjects and artist, and I appreciated the time and attention she gave me as I selected exactly the right presentation.Michaela had a great balance of providing expert opinions and showing product options, yet encouraging me to select what I felt most comfortable purchasing. She prepared a quote in advance, and also presented computerized views of the pieces as they would look upon completion before I said yes to the projects. I even made one last-minute change without problems.I highly recommend the custom framing department at Hobby Lobby in Ames, especially if you get Michaela to assist you!

Such a big and exciting store. This was a fast trip so I wasnt able to snoop around much. But I love the different varieties of things than our own hometown Hobby Lobby in Ft Dodge IA. This chain of stores is my favorite to shop. Thank you! Thank you for making it so.

Never liked the political stances of this company, but theres few art stores and they had unbeatable sales and coupons. They dont away with a lot of those now, leaving now reason to go here. Take the time to drive to micheals and stock up. Micheals also does free delivery, and discount on 6 packs of their professional canvases.

Today was the first time that they didnt have many TY Beanie Boos. My daughter collects them and usually they have a great variety but they had only about 5 different ones.

One of my favorite craft stores to go to. The store is always clean and neatly organized. This is a great place to buy small jewelry items for crafting your own. Did find that they have a fairly nice leatherworking section while I was there which was a nice surprise as those are a little harder to find.

My son and I got great service again today. The lady was helpful and had an amazingly high amount of energy, but thats just fine.Be sure to download their app for a 40% off coupon!

I just love this place as a crafter... Its a good idea to be flexible on what your are going in there for, at times there are amazing specials on certain items. Staff knows how to direct you to what you want, which is nice as the stores stock can be quite daunting.

Always has sales. Got flowers at half off and the next week got wedding items at half off. Saved a bunch of money.

Good store to find all hobby items. Some items can be pricey but quality of the items that I have bought have been good. Fun place to just window shop at.

Kind of pricey, and fabrics lady seemed like she was done with her shift early in the morning. The times after when Id needed some scrapbooking stuff the lady there was superb.

My daughter and I was in Ames at the Hobby Lobby-- I will say this Hobby Lobby is the best that I have been too. Everyone is so friendly and had a smile on their face. We were getting fabric and the lady that was helping us was truly amazing... Her name is Tami and she is so much fun and has fun doing her job. Very personable.. Had great conversation and gave great advice to my daughter. My daughter is 15 and that was all my daughter could talk about was the lady at hobby lobby and how much fun she had with her and wants to continue to go to this hobby lobby. Great Experience-- Keep up the awesome work and my daughter will remember your advice you gave her.

Just had a piece of art framed in their frame shop and it turned out perfect. Don from the framing area helped me find the perfect border to accent the art. Then walked me through all the options for glass, spacers, and hangers. Needless to say very educated in what he does. Great price and great service. Thanks again Don.

I had some frame work done here & the service was excellent when picking out the frame & border.

Tami in the fabrics department was so helpful. She was precise and pleasant when helping me with the upholstery, but assisting me in finding the right sewing machine is where she shines! She taught me so much in the short time I was there!

Great store to find everything for crafts that youre ever looking for. The only downside is that they close early during the week not open on Sundays and their high priced.

Craft supplies and decor are great here. Pretty good prices except for their furniture. They always have a good seasonal section.

They have alot of nice decorations, crafts, and scrapbook supplies. Always a nice place to go and relax. Can never leave without buying something🙂

If I’m missing, you’ll find me at Hobby Lobby. If it isn’t on sale this week, come back next week and it will be. Very helpful staff...an they always know where everything is! It’s down right amazing when you think about the millions of things they have in their store. And although they are not open on Sunday, l appreciate their Christian value. (I just go the other six days!)

Love this store. Great craft and decor items. Amazing sales and weekly coupons. Wish they were open on Sunday and later in the evening during the week.

Has plenty of hobby paints and now stocks Gunpla models. Plenty of other materials for different hobbies as well but as a modeller the selection of paints is what really pleases me.

Lots of great items here, and good sales. I was looking for a specific type of decor item that I had seen on the website, and it took a while to find it in the store because there are so many things to look through and choose from. Register are often slow. It would be nice if they would move into the 21st century with a barcode scanner to speed up the process.

I really enjoy going to there. They have changed it since the last time and it helps with the flow. Things are well organized execpt that there are things on the top shelf that are hard to see and you forget that they are there. Great place to pick up a variety of items from home decor to weddings to hobbies.

Always enjoy visiting here. Half the time when Im waiting in line someone will open up an extra check out lane to help us which is super nice. My only complaint is the carts are small but Im sure Im in the minority there since Im usually dragging 3 preschoolers along that sometimes need to be contained. I have never bought enough at once to justify needing a whole cart though so I usually just bring in the double stroller instead.

Wow amazing store!

The store has alot of neat things. Practically everything a crafter could want. But they also have things you might like. I saw things like science kits and picture frames, and some toys.A rock tumbler machine, wood engraver, paints for clothes, things to decorate for parties, magnets.I bought a coffee mug from here that is the greatest thing since coffee. I can put a cup of coffee in it and it stays hot a long time. Same way with a cold drink. I left my soda in our vehicle on a very hot day for hours. When We got back to the vehicle it still had ice and my drink was like it never happened.Now you do have to make sure the slider thing that lets you drink out if it is closed or it wont stay fresh as it lets the hot air in or cold whatever the case may be. But I like going here. I would recommend going and just spend time looking through the whole store. There is probably something you will want or something that might interest you to try.

I love Hobby Lobby. Most of the prices are on par with the other fabric and art supply places in town.The building is always clean and the displays are logically arranged.I have always gotten great service. The staff has bent over backward to help me find what I need, and Ive never had a single issue with a return - even when I had washed some fabric and returned it because it frayed more than I expected.

Some things can be kinda pricey but then u find good deals! Wish it was easier to find what I wanted in the store

Always get lost in how many cool items are here. From paint supplies and craft kits to fabrics and home decorations... they top it off with courteous staff.

While this location isnt as big as others staff are helpfull and i theres a wide variety of things for the home. My wife and I can typically find the accent pieces and art project needs at this location.

Lots of stuff to choose from, crafts crafts crafts! Got some more paint for my halloween graveyard stones. Model cars, picture frames, iconic clocks, crazy fabrics, fake flowers, wreath-making stuffs, Mason jars....because, glues.....AND Jesus 🙏
