I stopped there a couple of times. The other day I was there. An the lady was very pleasant and asked if you needed help.

They are definitely not open when they say they are on the door or the website. Major inconvenience to say the least. Staff is not helpful at all and they come off very rude making you uncomfortable to shop here. Wish it was better as its the only adult store in town. I remember coming here years ago and was greated with a friendly smile asking if I needed help. The past two times I was able to get in here when they decided to open was not a good experience. Go elsewhere if youre looking for adult items.

Don’t shop here! Owner/manager was very rude and unprofessional. I went it a couple days ago and just needed help looking for an item and she had the worst attitude ever. Store needs to do a better job with organization and cleaning.

First off, this little store is super small and grimey looking. The lady with the messed up blue wig was doing entirely too much. I came in with my friend, mind you my friend left her Id at home because we took my car but I had mine. Didn’t know it was that big a deal she could’ve just told my friend if she doesn’t have an id she could wait in the car and I could’ve bought my stuff and left. But no. The lady with the messed up wig decides to follow me and my friend to our car screaming at us. Very unprofessional and being that she looked well into her 40s I’d expect more from a grown woman.

Hours are confusing... I checked website yesterday and called to confirm that they stay open til 1am. She confirmed. I drove by and they were still open but decided to just wait til the next night after I got off work. I called and the lady on the phone said that I had got the wrong information and they close at 12 every night. Hmm.....

Owner was EXTREMELY RUDE to my girlfriend because she forgot to bring her state id before we came in. She was literally in the store the day before with her friends FOR HOURS. She was yelling at her the whole time to get out(funny thing because my girlfriend is older than me), causing a scene, and was overall being very irrational. She also was not wearing a mask in accordance with state guidelines. Mind you all of this was going on while a GROWN MAN was standing outside the store with TWO TODDLERS in what looked like him trying to get them inside the store and the owner did nothing about it. Glad to say we’ll be taking our business somewhere else. What a sh**show

When I passed through Ames one night,, I stopped in the store wanting to get something that I figure a woman might enjoy and usually walk out all flustered and empty handed.Not this night, the store assistant must had seen I needed help and gladly asked to assist me. Kinda embarrassed by her approaching respected her enthusiasm to help me I just flat out told her what vibrator it was I was looking for. After finding it without a problem She then gave me another product simular product and her opinions on both. I was grateful considering I knew very little about both.Then much to my surprise two other woman that were in the store shopping walked up and asked what kind of lubrication I was going to get. Of course I had know Idea that there was a difference Oil or water based. Well all three gave me their suggestions and I made my choice. Then a fourth lady asked from another isle as to if I thought about other simulators that she might enjoy, well of course I had to ask and all of them gladly voiced their opinion.I walked out of there that night spending a little more than I wanted to buy was glad to have the help that I received from everyone there that I was more confident with my purchase than what I would have been without their help. The encouragement and knowledge I received helped out more than one could imagine and to this day I wont turn down help in a store again. I would advise anymore that wasnt sure to at least try to ask for help. You will be surprised as to what you might receive and how much better one would feel about themselves walking out Thats why I have them Five Stars.

All the Gloryholes have been closed at Romantics locations nationwide, sadly in Ames too by their management. Totally discriminatory in my opinion however Im certain their Arcade profits have plummeted and rightfully so!
