I was looking for something sweet and can be delivered late in the day and weekend for my son birthday. Insomnia cookies Amherst MA happy to delivery 7 days a week. I ordered online paid for everything included delivery charge and the tip. I chose Insomniac Celebration Pack. A signature 6 cookie cake, a pint of ice cream, and a Super 6 pack. Add a brownies too.The delivery guy will text or call to let the recipient know when he/she arrived. My son when to the front door got the Cookies and ice-cream. Cookies still warm and fresh and the ice-cream still cold my son told me. He and his roommate enjoyed them very much. I will recommend for everyone.

My husband kept bragging about their cookies to me and expected different. He was a fan, but I wasnt overly impressed. I thought they would be more like a homemade cookie, but they tasted and looked mass produced. I dont think Id go out of my way to go back.

Stopped in to Insomnia Cookies on a college visit and am definitely glad we did. Got the ice cream sandwich (had to check out both) and it was delicious. The ice cream is fresh & creamy and the cookies were soft. It is a very sweet dessert, though - I would have been satisfied with eating half.Overall, this is a great stop for a snack while strolling through downtown Amherst.

First the cookies I bought were rock hard and after I complained and asked if it can be heated up I was told it could not. Then to make matters worse the Hispanic girl that works there has the worst attitude! Always rolling her eyes! A simple “you’re welcome” goes along way. Terrible customer service! This place’s deliveries are HORRIBLE I literally have never NOT had a problem with them- tonight was the second night in a row that my order said it was delivered but wasn’t and NO attempt was made to contact me- the driver literally just never showed up. They didnt have the kind of cookie I ordered so I just picked a different one...any cookie is a good cookie but the manager popped his head out and gave us a couple not normally for sale cookies just for out inconvenience. We placed an order online to be done at 8, got a text saying it’s ready, and went in to have the employees not help us then tell us we have to wait for our cookies or be warmed up..... they weren’t pleasant snd it’s very frustrating having to wait 15 minutes AFTER getting the text saying to come in. We also called multiple times to get curbside and nobody answered the phone. This place is a mess and should really reevaluate their choices in employees.

The cookies are great but the customer service is severely lacking. It’s now been three times I’ve gone in and there has been nobody at the counter. I can hear everyone chatting in the back but 5 minutes go by and nobody comes to take my order so I leave. I submitted a job application earlier this semester and never heard back, and dealt with a very rude employee while turning it in. They also double charged me for a water bottle and didn’t know how to work the register to refund me. I really do love the cookies but my god, find some people who actually care!! Some students have come back and insomnia would not be here without us so please be respectful to people who want to give you business!

We drove a long way to come get cookies and when we went to pay with a $50 bill we were told they do not take $50 bills because its their policy. When we told them the $50 bill was all we had, they told us that we can go to the ATM. Absolutely insane. You couldnt fork over a $20, $10, 3 $1 bills, and some change? If the issue is not having change for the whole weekend then shame on you because that can be managed way before it affects the guest. Go to the bank in the morning, gather PLENTY of small bills, put them in the safe. Problem solved. Lost a customer who goes there all the time.

I would give it less than one star if possible. Although we have been to other Insomnia Cookie locations before, so we know the treats are great, the service here was horrible. We were in town for a campus visit. When we ordered, the cashier apologized that it would be a 5 minute wait on the cookies. Ok. No problem. We waited for over 35 minutes to get three small cups of ice cream and two cookies (which were the cause of our supposed five-minute delay. When they finally started to put together our order (after I asked how much longer), they said, oh we’re completely out of that kind of ice cream. What?!? We waited 35 minutes for you to tell us you don’t have what we ordered. Are you kidding me. When I asked for a refund they acted like it was a huge annoyance. Apparently I was just expected to leave without my money or food we ordered. What a joke.

Insomnia Cookies is borderline addictive! Their app enables you to order as many of your favorite cookies as you like and have them ready at your leisure. My personal favorite is the smores. In the winter, it is always nice and warm inside. Their staff is always very pleasant and helpful. Luckily they dont deliver to my area or I would have a serious problem!

This was my first time ordering online (or ever) from Insomnia Cookies and this will ABSOLUTELY be my last. I ordered cookies to be overnighted to an address in New Jersey, and they were mailed from Chicopee, MA. The cookies were never delivered, and when I reached out to customer service online at Insomnia, Sean was not helpful at all. He literally gave me the phone number to FedEx and the tracking number, and basically said, here, you figure it out. Um, no, YOU figure it out, Sean. I paid you and didnt get my order! Never again. Calling to reverse the charge on my credit card since my package was lost and and even if its found in the coming days, who wants stale cookies? Not me! Bye, Insomnia Cookies. Never again.

I think the hours here are good, and the cookies are really good as well.The staff here on the other hand is the worst! They are rude and appear extremely agitated all the time. When we went the cash register was having issues and you would have thought it was the end of the world by the way the girl behind the register was acting. If you want to be miserable all the time at work then don’t come in. You don’t have a hard job, you make and sell cookies, come on now.

Theres nothing more to say except that if you believe in the NYC hype, its worth the visit. Im from NYC and was very pleasantly surprised to find this place in Amherst. I drove 30 mins for these overpriced cookies and it was worth every penny.

It took me over an hour for my cookies to be delivered. Once, I called to check on the status and the customer service representative was rude and (Im pretty sure he hung up on me) the call ended in the middle of our conversation. I had to call back, and wait again. Still didnt get my cookies, and was told that he didnt know an estimate, I understand you cant tell me down to the minute and that you get busy. But an hour for three cookies is a little much.

I waited 2 hours for 12 half decent cookies that would have been cheaper to make myself. It wasnt any faster then making them myself, it wasnt any cheaper and probably would have been less work then trying to call them 2 times just to be put on hold for 15 minutes. The point is the quick convince of a cookie company but my experience has been neither quick nor convenient.

Went in late night to grab a couple treats and was told i needed to wear a face mask or leave and my shirt wouldnt cover it. I politely informed the cashier who said his name was John that I have a medical condition that exempts me from wearing a mask. John then told me he wouldnt be serving me without one which I then made him aware that governor bakers order allows people with medical conditions to not wear one. John then proceeded to say he wanted proof of my condition, governor bakers order strictly forbids individuals from requesting this in his order after being informed of a medical condition. after a brief argument and having to show John my inhaler for my horrible ASTHMA he finally served me them informed me he was calling the police on me for being upset and not wearing a mask. NEVER again will i visit here.

If I could give this a zero I would . I placed an order at 8:15 . At 9:45 I still had not receive my order . I called customer service and the excuse was that “there were no drivers available”. The cookies were delicious! Im giving this place 2 stars because of the customer service that I received on March 9th 2019 at around 7ish pm. The male behind the counter was extremely rude. I came to this place with my family for the first time. We were so excited to try the cookies only to have our experience sullied by this rude worker. This man was very snappy, aggressive and had the biggest attitude when explaining what cookies were available. So what if he had to repeat himself to customers just do the job and do it respectfully, youre selling cookies for goodness sake. Cookies and sarcasm dont mix. This man was seething with some strong dislike for his job and was very impatient. He also kept itching himself which was prettty unhygeinic.This is a great cookie store but this man is ruining the stores image. Insomnia cookies please remove this man and give him some proper training. He shouldnt be selling your cookies with such a nasty attitude. Thank you!

I live on Pelham Road, which is 1.5 miles away from Insomnia Cookies. They wont deliver to us because its out of their radius. Yet theyll deliver to Sylvan which is 1.6 miles away from their location. They dont have a reason as to why they wont deliver to us, even thoe its closer than Sylvan. Im very aggravated and confused to why it is this way. I was very excited about Insomnia Cookies but, since they cant deliver 1.5 miles away I am now just annoyed and will never go there.
