Ordered my Coleman Xtreme3 C9WP kit for $109 no tax, and free shipping on a FRIDAY morning, I got an email it shipped same day I ordered it, received package on the following MONDAY through USPS. Camera pictures and videos are a lot more clear than anticipated. Autofocuses like a charm going from in pool to out of pool.

Ive ordered some items from here years past, they seemed like a pretty good company then. However I placed a recent order in which their website would not allow me to enter in my PO Box. I do not receive mail at my physical address but receive it via a PO Box. However I do receive packages via UPS or FedEx etc at my physical address so I entered my physical address in. In my experience when companies do not allow you to enter in a PO Box it is because they ship via UPS or FedEx. However they shipped it USPS. Long story short USPS would not deliver it without the mail box for whatever reason. The first rep that I spoke to concerning this matter was pleasant. I reordered the item over the phone to be shipped to my PO Box... however a week or so later when they issued a refund they only gave me a partial refund minus shipping. I called again inquiring about this and the second representative was very rude. After arguing the point with a raised voice she finally issued me a refund for the shipping as well. However with all that attitude I will not be doing anymore business with this place. Im glad I found out all this now as I have a budget where I need to purchase some big ticket item video cameras and would hate to spend thousands on a company then get treated like this! What happened to businesses these days? It seems like some of them feel like you owe them something for doing business with them!

The prices are great, the people are great. Best place on long Island. If your a beginner then this is the place for you. The employees are really easy going, willing to share all the tips you need and help set you up with a great camera for what your looking to do. If your an expert its still a great place because they have it all and you get the service and attention youll never find at b&h. Cameta provided excellent customer service throughout the process. The person on the phone answered all my questions and took my order directly. I got an email with the full receipt, a link for support, and the tracking information. (So I didnt have to go to the website and search around for anything as with other businesses.) I got the best price on a refurbished Nikon L330 kit. It came with everything! It was like Christmas in September and saved me from having to purchase items separately. The camera was in perfect condition and came with a 90 Day warranty. I just wish I would have paid more for faster shipping. But the free shipping saved me even more money.

Brought my camera with me.... The fellow behind the counter gave an impromptu lesson on some things I did not understand.... Even though my camera was a gift purchased elsewhere. Lots of good advice and recommendations.... Quality stuff at reasonable prices... Got a great computer // camera backpack.... When I admitted I did not want to spend too much I was shown a very reasonably priced alternative to the big dollar item. As an novice / amateur I find this store very friendly! Love to visit when I can!

I ordered their camera from Amazon and never received it. I tried to explained to Cameta camera that I never received the package from Fedex. Instead of helping me to investigate the accurate information and solve the problem, I received very aggressive customer service without apologies for the mislead information they had from Fedex. 7 days after the promised delivery date, I still don’t have camera or money return. I wished customer service could be more professional and being helpful.

Packaging was very good! The Price and added bonus equipment were exceptional! I expected the extras to be low quality and was pleasantly surprised to find an especially nice quality backpack included. The UV filter and CPS filter are great! I am sorry there is not 0 stars. I bought from this company recently through Amazon. Their product, a cannon camera came defective. The accessories bundled with the camera were the worst quality Ive ever seen. But that wasnt it. Amazon assured me I could disposed of the merchandise. Sure some of the items could have been put to use, although I prefer to work with quality products and initially wanted to return but was told by Amazon after a long while on the phone, that it wasnt necessary. Next thing, I get an edgy email from Cameta Camera,. I felt wrongly treated. They never offered any solutions, not even to replace the camera. I could suspect they knew from the beginning the equipment was defective and low quality. They told me they didnt plan on honoring what Amazon had offered and instead would dispute the refund. WORST customer service experience, ever. There are tons of companies out there to buy from I definitely DO NOT RECCOMEND this company.

After having a not so great experience with another dealer I managed to get the exact package deal I wanted from Cameta for the same special price as the other seller. They were very efficient in making sure the package was delivered to the correct address after a few problems with the confirmation from my credit card company. I dont know where to start. I ordered a Fujifilm X-T2 from Amazon and it was fulfilled by Cameta Camera. Within six months, I had to send it off to Fujifilm for repair. The camera was freezing and wouldnt turn off, even when switched off. The only way to power it down was to pop the battery out.Then, new issues presented themselves. There was a rolling black shadow across the screen and after clicking the shutter, I realized that those black shadows showed up in my images as well. They look like lines across the frame. They dont show up when I snap a picture with my iPhone, only the X-T2. The LCD screen also flickered.I sent the camera in for repair a second time and once again, it was repaired. Ive now owned the camera for nine months and I have been going back and forth with the repair and warranty department of Fujifilm since November (its February now). I was also without the camera for the entire holiday season.I was not aware at the time of purchase, but I have since learned via Fujifilm that the camera sent to me by Cameta Camera and advertised as BRAND NEW was in fact, not factory sealed!!! They sold me a used camera (or possibly a floor display) and passed it off as new. Shame on them. I would never have purchased it in the first place if Id known it wasnt factory sealed.This was an expensive purchase. Not to mention the hassle of going back and forth with Fujifilms repair dept.

I ordered a camera from Cameta and when it arrived I discovered that it was defective from the manufacturer. When I contacted Cameta, they emailed me a return shipping label. I was pleased that the entire process from me mailing out the defective camera to receiving the replacement camera took only five days. Customer service over the phone was excellent and their timeliness in correcting the problem was amazing.

Found Cameta Camera through Amazon and called to ensure they were a registered Nikon dealer/ legitimate seller. I spoke with Cathy and she was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I ordered my camera at an excellent price and it shipped very quickly (for free). I would absolutely shop here again and advise you do the same!

If you are reading this review because of an online order they refused to process let me save you some time it’s like that all the way down.I ordered a camera with my Visa, they asked me to send in a credit card statement to prove my address as they couldn’t verify international credit cards (Canada). I did and it still wasn’t good enough they asked me to send them money directly to be able to “process the order”. I explained to them that this offers me no protection as a consumer. Keep in mind this item is around $2000. I called Visa to see what was going on and they indicated to me that Cameta Camera did verify the card and that there was no issue in charging the card. So I logged a complaint with Visa international and they said they will be looking into the matter. Maybe they are avoiding the commission that they need to pay visa for the sale or maybe they are just incompetent because it is a fact that the card was verified with a test transaction when I placed the order online. One thing I will say though is that they do get back to you quickly and professionally (Sabrina and Rosanna). But come on guys get your **** together. I Wasted my time and I never got the camera the transaction was canceled on their end.

Everything appears to be brand new and working. Proper items with proper warranties.Furthermore they dont hide information on their website. New, used or factory refurbished is usually clearly stated and not information you have to search for.

Do not buy from them! I ordered a lens, and the package was delayed for 2 weeks. After I contact them, they said the USPS delivered! I told them I didnt receive the package, and they started a 2 month long investigation. Now, they are not responding to my email. I had to talk to my credit card company.Buy from B&H or Adorama, or even Amazon. Cameta does not care at all!

I ordered a brand new fuji 16mm 1.4 lens. It arrived quickly. The box had been previously opened and the lens was very obviously broken and falling apart. Money was returned but no apology or explanation. Terrible customer service and even worse quality control.

Had a small manufacturing issue with one of the lenses that I ordered. They sent me a new one with no questions asked. Entire process took under 2 minutes. Wonderful customer service.

Bad Experience. I placed an order for D5300 and Black Friday. They had them in stock and now they are saying it is not available with them and hence they will refund the money. I could have brought from another local store at the same price but Cameta was providing them at the same price but with a better package. Now they are not honoring the transaction and I have to go and buy it from somewhere else and I have pay $100 more for the same because the same offer is not available. This is not a fair way of doing a business.

We purchased a camera at the last minute before a family vacation and paid for expedited shipping (a reasonable charge compared to other vendors.) There was an issue in processing our order and Cameta Camera called us to explain the situation and they paid the difference to NEXT DAY SHIP the order. It arrived just in time, on the day we had expected it to initially arrive. In addition to excellent customer service, we were thoroughly pleased with the product we received. Ordered a refurbished Nikon L840 kit. Shipped fast, but I must say the UPS SurePost option does no more than add a day to delivery since the US Post Office has to process the package through their sorting for delivery when UPS could have just delivered it and been done.As far as the camera goes, Im sure I will be a repeat customer for the Holidays and Birthdays coming up.I offer a 5 star rating but would have dropped it to 4.5 if that option was available to me.

I purchased a camera as a gift for my daughter. When she opened the tripod she realized that it was broken. I emailed Cameta Camera and received a response within 2 hours, on Christmas eve. Cameta offered to replace the entire tripod immediately. Within 2 days the new tripod arrived. Their customer service is outstanding and my daughter loves her new camera!

Very very bad customer relations. Not concerned about your problems at all . camera came completely missing from d package and it took us almost a month to get our money back. Blamed the shipping company and we had to wait until their investigation was completed even though we had extra warranty on the product.

Defective Nikon Referb I received did not seem to have proper image quality. Hazy images with very low saturation. Cameta suggested I return for refund or replacement, I did with an RMA from them but was not given full refund. Cameta claims the camera functions properly. look through reviews there are more like this. On-line order charged shipping for defective item.

Buying on the internet varies from getting answered by programmed computers on to the dedicated and very personal attention given by the staff at Cameta, at all levels. I am outside the United States on assignment and often have trouble ordering in the USA. I had trouble with this order. Cameta gave me personal attention and remained in contact with me while I solved a credit card issue. My order was for less than 500 dollars but they made me feel I was spending 5,000 dollars with them. Thank you Cameta Cameras... this was my first purchase with you but will not be my last.

Tried to order a camera, I was told my billing and shipping address must be the same.... weird, never heard that before but I agreed. Next I was told their 3rd party verification company will not accept my credit card that I had to do a bank transfer. I asked if my bank blocked the transaction since BOA will do that if they suspect something is not right. I was told no, the 3rd party just wouldnt verify my card. Looks like this company is not ready for online transactions. Seems like they dont care about customers at all.

We had a situation this past weekend where, due to family drama, we needed a bunch of photos scanned in a hurry. I called several other places on Long Island who either did not respond, responded too late, or were unable to take the job on such short notice. Then I found Cameta, which not only answered the phone but agreed to scan 100 photos, many of them at 1200 dpi, in a span of about 2 hours. They did an excellent job, too. We had fun afterwards looking at details that my fiances family had never noticed in the original photos because they were too small. Thank you, Cameta, for working with us to scan a lot of photos with a very short turnaround time and still doing quality work.

I must say that my experience with Cameta Camera was excellent! GreatPrices, and knowledgable friendly staff. I had a small issue with my purchased and it was handled quickly and conveniently! I would highly recommend them to family and friends!

So I saw they sell the Sony RX100 VA via amazon and several reviewers state that Cameta is shipping the V (older version). I call Cameta to clarify this because I wanted to make a purchase and the representative is responding in a defensive and non professional manner: “ if it says 5A then it’s a 5A!” And again I explain that obviously makes sense however I am calling to clarify this because of the reviews yet he insists on repeating the same thing as if I’m asking a dumb question. I obviously don’t want the hassle of returning a new package if that’s the case and save time on both ends but he clearly doesn’t get it. Cameta you just lost a potential customer. Please train your customer reps how to assure customers instead of responding immediately being defensive and rude about simple inquiries that can be resolved professionally. I’ll stick to B&H.

You are absolutely the best in the market without any ifs and buts. I googled tons of online stores and found almost all a bit shameless. Not a single online store with exceptional reviews and Cameta gained my trust. I thoroughly reviewed their policies and felt the risk but because of WallMart and Best Buy told me that although I ordered in time but they cant guarantee the delivery and the deal value which pissed my ....... (you know) and thus I placed my order in a scenario which is unusual but Cameta approved it (I cannot disclose the scenario but just consider that Cameta went out of their policies). More than that, not only they approved but in such a busy season they entertained my emails/ questions extremely fast and above all they delivered before the promised time. I don’t have the budget but trust me I’d have paid you more for this which I will do with my next buyout.

I attempted to do business with this company and failed. I purchased a camera from them on their website and they refuse to take my money. It only took them an entire day after choosing next day shipping for them to let me know. I own multiple businesses and have used this Visa card for almost 9 years without any issues until now. They make it very inconvenient to do business with them. Its very surprising they wont allow me to spend money with them. I have over 100 other vendors my companies do business with. After speaking and ordering from their competitor it seems that this is a regular occurrence. Theyre doing a great job keeping the other camera companies busy.

I had purchased a canon eos 7d and canon 10-22 wide angle lens from cameta camera last week. The service was excellent. Peter was very helpful and understanding. I had purchased other items previously from them and always found their sales people to bevery courteous, knowledgeable and understanding about their customers needs.I will certainly continue any future purchases with them. Buying off the internet can be confusing, to say the least. Who do you trust?After eliminating all of the international sellers (IE: NO factory warranty!) for my next camera purchase, I selected Cameta Camera.The selection was easy because their website invited me to create my own package for my camera.I called them on Monday morning and the salesman immediately accommodated my request and made some suggestions. I also mentioned that I was leaving for vacation on Thursday and wanted my camera package by Wednesday, he quickly added 2-day rush shipping for a very reasonable fee.My order was placed.I received my order on Wednesday as scheduled and I was thrilled!But....one small problem. The camera was defective out of the box and displayed an error code. ARGH!!I called Cameta and left the tech support a message on Friday morning while on vacation in NY. I called Panasonic and they suggested I contact the seller directly. Within minutes, Nick from tech support apologized, asked me a few questions and immediately offered a replacement camera. I mentioned that I was a little over an hour (NY traffic time) away and asked if I could exchange it in person so I can have a camera for the remainder of my vacation. Nick placed me on a brief hold, came back with a yes!. Come in and well have everything ready for you he said.I made the trip to their shipping warehouse and was immediately greeted. Not only was the exchange effortless, they also upgraded my camera bag.The team at Cameta was amazing to deal with- I highly recommend them!!
