I received my order today. We were nervous because it was coming from CA and we are in Florida. OMG it arrived, so far so good. Its wonderful, I still have to inventory everything. The driver was wonderful from Fed Ex. The package was sealed, I took pictures so you can see how they ship. It comes in a crate, we removed some of the packing materials so you can see the items. So far so good and wonderful. They had stone I wanted that isnt as available as it was 10 yrs. ago. Im doing a happy dance...

In a word, AMAZING!We wanted to update our kitchen backsplash that had a dated fruit mural behind the range. We were so amazed at how, by simply choosing this beautiful subway tile and mosaic accent, such a transformation was possible. American Tile provided outstanding customer service, which is a very rare thing these days. They noticed that I ordered two products of nearly the same thing, but the colors wouldnt have worked. They emailed me and had me email them pictures of the tile I was matching, then selected the better product. My order came quickly and the new tiles matched the old. Their interaction was amazing. Most companies ship what you ask for and never think another thing about it. They clearly wanted me to order the correct item to make my project successful.

My tile is beautiful, I purchased trim pieces and they match my larger travertine tiles beautifully! I did two bathrooms using same products and could not be happier! Shipping was fast too.

Excellent product and great service. I have ordered multiple shipments of the same product. The staff here took their time rapping and securing my very fragile products safely where not one stone was damaged. Customer service is excellent too also noted when I accidentally ordered a similar but distinctly different product where someone took the time to notify me to make sure the online order was correct. Great customer serviceThese are the perfect size for edging our kitchen counter. Theyre well made and will coordinate beautifully with our existing tile. We did have a hiccup on the order, but Customer Service at American Tile Depot was very responsive and worked diligently with us to solve the issue.

The marble was shipped quickly and arrived undamaged because it was packed well. We have found that most companies shipped their products without proper packing. Dacor, an expensive stove/oven company shipped a 5,000.00 dollar stove top to us completely unprotected with No packing and it arrived dented 2 times. Finally they listened to my husband on how to pack and it arrived undamaged. He shipped all over the world and couldnt believe that they cared so little about how their product arrived to to the customer. He would give more care to a 100.00 dollar item then they cared about a 5,000.00 dollar item. So thank you for caring about shipping correctly. Marble is fragile and it breaks if not protected.

I shopped for decorative outlet and switch plates to complement the backsplash and quartz countertops for our kitchen remodel. American Tile Depot was very helpful on the phone and requested samples(emailed pictures) for them to best match what would look best. Their suggestions look great in our kitchen and the marble switch and outlet plates fit perfectly. Also, they have a great selection of combinations to consider. We will be ordering from them again for our master bath remodel.

Excellent product. Obviously both of us are in California but I ordered it after lunch on Friday and it was here a little after lunch on Saturday. Can’t do better than that. Prices are super competitive as well. A+

I saw American Tile’s white onyx online and order some samples. It was very pretty stuff, nicer imo than onyx I had sampled at other vendors. More white, less greenish and with beautiful neutral colored veining ( think tan to brown). I was nervous ordering a relatively large quantity and having it shipped cross country, but it arrived safe and sound! And it arrived in a very reasonable time frame - maybe a week. I have no regrets ordering from American Tile- it was a very positive experience and there was no additional charge for shipping. I will try to send pics of the installation. I looked for stuff like this in the NYC/NJ market and couldn’t find except at one place (wont give the name), but it was much more expensive than the amounts charged by American Tile.

I bought several boxes of polished carrara marble (tiles and trim pieces). The prices were better than the local home improvement stores and the tiles were beautiful!The phone customer service rep was very nice, and the delivery person was EXTREMELY helpful. I will definitely order from them in the future.

Great product, well made. Fast delivery, packaged well for shipment, no breakages which is common problem among carriers. Looks great once installed against quartzite. Wish it was 1/2 longer on all sides but it covers sockets just right. I’ve looked at a lot of places and this company seems to have the process from end to end covered

Be aware if you have any problems with your purchase, they wont help you. I ordered the marble light switch plate, with one of the holes that has a rocker switch, so the marble is thinner on that hole where it is screwed in. On the package (on the side, and not very noticeable btw) it said to use a hand screwdriver, not powered, and to tighten carefully because it is fragile. I had barely tightened the plate and it snapped. When I contacted them they said if I wanted another one they could give me 20% off. Why would I order another one of something that was so fragile it couldnt even be gently installed? There should be more instructions for installing it if one turn of the screw will break it. It doesnt even mention how fragile it is in the product description. I also waited a month to even receive the plate.

I recently ordered samples of a designer trim, and made my selection of 24 pieces for a project Im working on.The pieces were reasonably priced, and the shipping was free.I easily placed my order, which was quickly processed, and shipped.When the packages arrived, I got them quickly opened to inspect for cracked or damaged pieces.To my surprise, ATD did such an excellent job packaging and insulating the trim from possible shipping damages, there was virtually nothing broken.Ive been in the flooring business for 45 years, and never seen such beautifully wrapped shipping containers for my order.I will certainly encourage everyone to feel comfortable that the orders you place with American Tile Depot are going to be handled with Ultra Kid Gloves... We were really nervous about finding a very rare type of bull nose tile in stock and available. Everyone is having such a difficult time. American Tile Depot came through with 5 stars if not 6. It was actually delivered one day earlier than we were told. It was packed very well and all 20 pieces of the stone bull nose arrived unbroken. All-in-all a very good experience!

As a mosaic artist whos very exacting and detail-oriented, the ability to purchase a sample of tile -- on-line and at a reasonable price was very helpful. When I decided to purchase the tile I needed for my project, I received great care on on the phone and the relatively small amount of tile I needed arrived quickly and was packaged so that there wasnt any broken tiles. We had a very hard time finding a company that had “chair rail” tile. American tile depot does have it and you can order samples to check fit for your project. Ours being tile countertops. They were very fast in sending out the sample and it turned out exactly what we were looking for. Recommend this company for their products and quick and easy shipping.

This is my second Review the first one glowing this one terrible! Tile is beautiful but if you run into an issue you will be out of luck. The most recent shipment of tile was sent with inaccurate tracking information, the order arrived in piecemeal shipments the fist shipment was left in the middle of a busy sidewalk where it was immediately stolen (all on security cameras. I contacted American tile depot and they said its not their fault and that it is an expensive lesson to learn. Excuse me but I never received the product I ordered. If you cant get your product to your client that is your problem and your responsibility to remedy! How can you send $1,000s of dollars in product with inaccurate tracking information and no signature required?

This company is awesome! I had ordered a marble outlet cover months ago and decided I liked it and wanted to order 3 more to finish my outlets in our kitchen. I placed my order and didn’t notice that I ordered one in a different color than last time and the other two were a difference finish than last time. Bling for your outlets and switches plates! Its beautiful honed white Thassos marble … with a little bling here and there. I ordered one to try it out with the backsplash and it was perfect, so I ordered the rest of the switch plates and outlet covers in the same. One of the plates was the wrong configuration. I emailed ATD and got an immediate response to fix the issue! Couldnt be happier with the result in my dream kitchen remodel with a Mediterranean theme. According to my research, Thassos marble is named so after a small island in the Aegean Sea, the only location in the world where this stone is found.

We purchased 40 sq ft of 3x6 ivory travertine filled and honed subway brick field tile from American Tile Depot. From start to finish the service was smooth. We had questions regarding how to order the tile and when it would ship and they were very helpful. The tile shipped and arrived in good condition. No tiles were broken. There were a few tiles, maybe 1 sq ft, that had some imperfections on the corners but are usable. I would definitely recommend americantiledepot.com!

I had an impeccable experience with American Tile Depot, they supported me to select the correct product, the product is fantastic and the shipment came in the correct time and package was great.

This company is the worst. We ordered 1 hex carerra marble tile for our bathroom floor and we ran a little short even though we ordered 25% more than our contractor said we needed. When we ordered a a few sq ft more to finish the job the sales person assured us it was from the same lot. It looked completely different so it couldnt have been from the same lot. We couldnt use it. We went to several other vendors to match the original and we were told the original tile was unique in terms of coloring and grout spacing. We were screwed. We went back to American Tile Depot for help and they couldnt have cared less. They didnt try to help us, no calls back, no offer to buy back the bad tile. The customer service is rude, uncaring and completely unwilling to work with the client. We have to rip out our entire floor and start over. Very disappointed.

I ordered tile samples for a bathroom project. The samples arrived quickly and in good condition.

Ordered marble outlet covers and one arrived broken. Emailed the company WITH a photo of the broken plate and they said they would send me a new one. They instructed me to email them more photos of the box. I sent more photos and then come to find out that it was beyond the 15 day expiry (that they never told me about). Now all they can do is offer me 20% off if I want to buy more!! Worst customer service I’ve ever received - I would never order anything online from this company!

We are in the process of renovating our kitchen. We know we want subway tile for the backsplash, but have really been focused on a feature tile for a 2’x2’ area behind the stove. A key part of that was finding a Carrera Marble pencil tile for the border and to finish off the edges of our backsplash. The pencil tile is a gorgeous, flawless white with light grey veining. The selection, fulfillment and pricing from American Tile Depot is very good and the product we purchased is simply beautiful! I highly recommend this company.

Only buy your items if you are certain you want to keep them. I just ordered a large number of wall plates for my home. The color of the plates are different in person than advertised on their website. Upon returning, you have to pay for your own shipping costs and a whopping 25% restocking fee! I am taking a huge financial hit on this order and will not be placing another order with them again.

Quality product, fair price, quick ship

Literally the worst experience Ive ever had buying tile. Their website states that they ship in 1-2 business days and they keep their items in stock. Absolutely not true. I waited nearly a week before I called to inquire about the status of my order. At which time they told me we have to go get it. Tom, the owner, tells me that my order will be ready next day and I will get a text when its ready. Next day comes, no text or call. So, I call again. My order still wasnt ready and they still had to go get it. I asked to pick my order up insted of shipping since I had already waited a week. He gives me a pickup time. I get there at said pickup time only to have to wait nearly another hour in the rain with my 2 kids. If youre thinking about ordering from this company. DO NOT DO IT! Save yourself the hassle. Apparantly the retailer up the street offers the same products for less anyhow.

Customer service is a nonexistent. I believe that the mapping on the site is not working properly. We were sent the incorrect tile even though we put the correct items in our cart. We are now being told we have to pay to send it back. Many of the pieces were broken upon arrival. Beware!

A horrible place to do business with...Ive never experienced the lack of customer service with any online vendor...I placed a small order for marble trim...I emailed the same day and asked to change shipping address, nothing..a week goes by still nothing....I call and get the rudest person, who informs me they sent me 2 emails because my order didnt qualify for free shipping unless i order 10 items..I said ok fine Ill pay the 12$ shipping...they send me a separate email to process the shipping payment...first attempt, credit card declined, second attempt with a new card couldnt be processed bc of no match, then I tried again nothing, tried PayPal nope no address match, again another no address match...I call back to voice my frustrations and tell them of all my issues and that it would have been nice if they would have just charged me shipping during my order, it was obvious I didnt order 10 units and I was told well the issue is on ur end not ours and maybe its just best that I cancel your order...I said thats how you treat customers, then Im told well if your rude to us then we dont want to do business with you...I said really, how about Im frustrated, maybe a sorry for the trouble is in order...rather I canceled my order found the same item 25% cheaper on Amazon...good luck running a business with that type of customer service

I would give this place 1/2 a star if I could. I ordered two tiles paid for them and everything on the internet. Three days letter I’m notified my order has been cancelled. I called to be so rudely talked to that I have to order a minimum of 10 tiles and they don’t know how I ordered two. If I wanted my 2 tiles they were going to charge me 20 dollars more for shipping or I had to order 10. Isn’t that called BATE & SWITCH.Check out the so called response about making it right. They still want me to pay more money even though their website charged and billed me for two tiles. This place is a rip off.

Having searched for authentic travertine wall plate covers, I discovered these Scabos Travertine Wall Plates at an amazing price, The color was as shown, the texture had a natural Travertine finish and the quality was excellent. I intend to use them in our quest bath room.

These guys dont know how to list the dimensions of their products on their website. They give the product dimensions for the pattern not the sheet. If you call them they cant even answer the question. They guys only know whats incorrectly listed on their website. What a joke.
