I went into the Anchorage store and bought a Stressless chair and table from Dee. She was incredibly helpful in my husband selecting a chair. I went in originally to just get one for him and she strongly urged that he come in and pick one himself. I am so glad we did that as I originally picked out something totally different than what he actually wanted. The personalized care and attention we received was excellent and we will definitely come back to Scan Home for future furniture needs.

We purchased a leather recliner about three months ago in anticipation of both my husband and I having joint replacements this summer. I am one week post knee replacement surgery and the electronic mechanism on the recliner quit at 2:30 am. I spent the remainder of the night trying to get comfortable in bed. I called Scan Home this morning and explained the above to Carol. She connected me with the service department, but they were unable to make a service call for three days. I was amazed when Carol called this afternoon and said they were on their way, to deliver a new floor model chair to me. Scan Home in Anchorage has been the best furniture store for my family since I bought my first piece in 1999. The furniture--both office and home--lasts. Had a wonderful shopping experience at Scan Home today. I was looking for a simple bed platform. Something that was elegant and not overwhelming. I was frustrated with the selection at two other furniture stores (which was big, dark, and ugly) but after I walked in and described to the sales associate what I was looking for, she walked me over to the very thing I had imagined. For $400 I purchased a simple, modern, beautiful platform for my mattress.Honestly, I didn’t know why I bothered going elsewhere except I forgot Scan Home was there. I’ll be back to buy the rest of my furniture. The eye candy is exquisite. The prices are reasonable and fit a variety of budgets. Plus, by the time I drove over to the warehouse to pick up my bed, staff had already pulled the stock and were waiting to load my car.

Never been to Scan Home before. Been searching around town for a couch/loveseat set that has personality and trendy. All the other big box stores had nothing. Great furniture, clean lines and contemporary styling. I was helped by Dali who was a huge help. When asked, she gave her opinion and made suggestions, which was a huge help. There was no heavy sales pitch but there was a real effort on her part to help me decide between so many good choices.

When we walked in we originally thought we would not find anything there. Then we walked to the back of the store and found the perfect dining room table we had been looking for as well as barstools perfect for our place. Sales rep was great, no pressure. We stopped here after looking at all the major furniture stores and finding nothing. So glad we stopped in.

I had an awesome experience at Scan Home. I was expecting obnoxious pushy salespeople. Instead I got Dee, who is the exact opposite. She made me feel comfortable, like I was sitting in my own home. She remained available for questions but mostly left me alone, allowing me to feel my way through the store. I found my dream dining set. So, got into the store, didnt even have a chance to look and salesperson (middle-aged woman with short blonde hair) was totally rude. Asked us if we wanted to know about the sales and when we said we would let her know if we saw anything we liked, she said, Okay, I wont tell you the sales price and you just wont know. Cheers. We are not going to buy something, especially expensive furniture, just because it is on sale. Totally rude and never going back.

I received excellent service at ScanHome. My salesman, Al, spent a great deal of time with me and helped me to find just the right chair for my disabled son, and just the right sofa for my very short legs. The two pieces of furniture I purchased cost more than at some of the other stores I shopped at, but they are by far the most comfortable and best-suited to our particular needs. Also, their solid construction will mean I wont have to replace them as soon as if I had purchased cheaper furniture elsewhere. Everyone who comes to our home and sits on them comments on the comfort and style.

Dee is the salesperson who helped us. She was great. We told her what we wanted. She took us right to it with no fuss or attempt to up-sell us. I really appreciate that. I spent about 15 minutes total (including at least 5 minutes trying out the fancy chairs for fun) and purchased the exact item I needed. The guys at the warehouse had our bed ready to go when I arrived. I was in and out of the warehouse in less than 5 minutes. In less than 30 minutes, ta-da -new bed for the guest room. Thats my kind of shopping.
