They had their anniversary party this past week and I was in town for my birthday - they had excellent variety and were very friendly! I cant wait to come back! Please eat here. Keep them open! Have had their macaroons shipped down to NM twice now. They take great care in the packaging and everything arrived perfect. The macaroons are heavenly, the flavors are so varied and complex it’s hard to describe how good they are.

2021- updateI love the store front expansion that they’ve done this year. Today I drove Just to come here and grab some Macarons. I love the cookies and cream, Fred Flintstone, red velvet, marshmallow chocolate, almond joy, birthday cake, root beer float, peanut butter and jelly, bananas Foster, rose lychee, Blood orange, maple bacon, Earl Grey, strawberry lemonade, & chocolate mint.They do have seasonal/holiday flavors, i wont them all but My favorites are:Pumpkin cheesecake, strawberry rhubarb, Neapolitan, ginger bread eggnog, peppermint bark, & chocolate covered strawberry.I really enjoy when I get to see the owner inside the shop he’s often doing deliveries but during lunch rush you can sometimes see him in there. He’s such a nice guy I really like him and his staff are always very friendly fast and knowledgeable. Which is why I will always come back. Often my family will give me for Mother’s Day or my birthday a gift card to go to Sweet Caribou or they pick up my favorite because they know what I like to come so many times. But my Fav is macaroons i have gotten them from all of their past pop up stands such as: Sears mall, Saturday market, the state fair and now their own store front. They have come alo g way. Amazing Carrot Cupcake!I wanted to surprise our staff with a sweet treat so I called Sweet Caribou and they brought over Carrot Cupcakes - wow! Highly recommend. Id show a picture but they ate them all!

First, the service and staff were absolutely INCREDIBLE; they were so patient with people asking questions, seemed to love working there, and were passionate about their products. I love the little store and the ROYGBIV display is really cool, too. I purchased 4 macaroons for my bf as a treat, and we’ve eaten 2 already and unfortunately, they are so dry. It’s almost like biting into a cracker. I’ve spend quite some time in France and have had my share of the tasty French dessert cookie, and have even made them myself, and I’ve never had them so dry and crumbly. The flavor is AWESOME, but the texture feels old. So far we’ve just had cookies & creme (which tasted just like an Oreo) and birthday cake (pictured with a bite take out in blue). I hope they can find a way to make them less dry- or maybe I arrived on a bad day...

Omg! Their macorons are sooooo good! And definitely worth the price, I warn you it is rather pricey but so worth it! Oh and they change the favorites of course! My favorite was a coffee flavored macorons and the pistachio flavered macoron!

Awesome owner, always really nice and the macaroons are really good with new flavors all the time.

Salads are dank, and of course their macarons, but their cupcakes are also surprisingly delicious. A lot of days they’ll run out of the salads (they’re very popular) but if you text them or call ahead (I usually text) they’ll put the salad aside for you! Which is very nice and convenient.

The pricing is reasonable, and they take MasterCard, Visa, as well as cash or their gift cards.. A really good lunch can be just a single kale and quinoa salad. All salads Ive had came with a chocolate macaroon. They can hook you up with silverware and you get a free water with your purchase of a salad.

Ive come here religiously for years and cant believe I havent written a review! I probably get one of their salads for lunch about once a week on average. Theyre huge and incredibly filling and come with a mini macaron! Also, their macarons are to die for, Ive probably eaten 200 at this point. Their cupcakes are also delicious (I got the pink lemonade today.) Their staff are always so friendly and youll often be served by the owner who is awesome! 100% recommend!

We arrived several weeks in advance of Christmas to get their holiday macaron mix. After tasting them we decided we wanted to purchase some for gifts. The staff recommended that we get them closer to Christmas, so we asked if we should order them in advance. We were assured that, no, they make plenty. They even told us to come in by December 21st if we were worried that they would run out. We arrived on the 21st and asked for the holiday mix. They said sure, and brought us a box which my daughter immediately recognized as NOT being the holiday mix. When she asked “Is this the holiday box?”, the girl helping her said “No, we ran out of those. These are our New Year’s flavors.”Not only did she not tell us that we were not getting what we ordered until my daughter asked, but they also misdirected us in having us come back late in the season.Really disappointing.

I picked up a Talkeetna Ginger Sesame Salad, on returning to the office I was delighted to find the salads include a macaroon in a little container inside. A sweet little bonus.Local business owned and operated so if whether you are a tourist passing through or Anchorage born a raise I highly suggest stopping in. Great way to support a local business and pick up a tasty treat.They can also package macaroons for the plane!

This place is so fun, and the service staff is very excited to share the love of tasty baked good. My only complaint is that it would be good to see more than macarons, a few cookie bars, some and interesting salads. Perhaps confections? The conjoined location with a tea and coffee shop is nice, but the cookies will be so beautiful and delicious, youre going to wish they sold a greater variety of sweet treats.

Macaroons making me macrazy.But really, an incredibly easy way to gain 10 lbs by eating all the cookies.They send their employees to France one time a year for macaroon training, and it shows. Each one is the exact same texture, and the flavor in every bite.The flavor options are hit or miss, but thats personal preference, not lack of culinary skills.

Based on the first macaroon from here, I expected all of the flavors to be the same consistency. The Mexican hot chocolate and the vanilla BlackBerry were very nice, the triple lemon and the pineapple coconut were dry and firm. Because this is my first experience with macaroons, I dont know which way they are supposed to be, but I prefer the soft and chewy ones.

Great food! The shop is little and cute, with a unique selection of foods, drinks, and desserts. Their salads are gigantic, delicious, and filling (!), and their macrons are packed with flavor and have a great texture to them. Ill definitely be returning more in the future.

The macarons are delicious here! Sadly, they are a bit overpriced, they cost over a dollar individually and they are cheap to make. Regardless, they taste amazing, and their salads are good as well.

This shop is a little tricky to find as it is the first shop when you turn in off of 36th and the sign is hidden behind a tree - I had to call from the parking lot as I drove right past. When I called, the person who answered the phone said they had just closed for the day but told me to come to the door and they would help me. I received customer service above and beyond anything I expected! She double wrapped my cupcakes so they would stay fresh as I wanted them for a birthday occurring the next day. We have not tried all the cupcakes I purchased but the ones we have eaten were moist, flavorful and topped with delicious frosting!! Definitely recommend.

This is the best place to get really interesting and delicious salads and desserts! The Denali Beet is my favorite salad and passion fruit, cranberry orange, and POG are my favorite macarons. Fantastic quality and a great family run this macaron boutique.

Salads are wonderful! I havent had one i didnt like yet. Just the right amount of salad an dressing for my tastes, and they are delivered promptly. The online ordering is so easy. The macaroons are wonderful with fun and delicious flavor options. My only negative comment would be that I have on occasion hit a large box where some (never all) of the macaroons were a little dry (stale?) still tasty, just too crunchy, but this has only happened with the prepackaged one, the ones I have picked up from the store are always light and and wonderful.

The Story of How they Got started is Really Very Sweet.....I remember seeing them start out at our Local Mall.....ANYWAYS.....they spent the summer at the Outdoor Omalley selling Macaroon and Cupcakes.The Cupcakes are Pretty darn AWESOME!!I have tried a fair few of the local made cupcakes and I REALLY like these...ESpecially the Chocolate ones!!Really Special and Delicious!!

Best macarons ever!! Ive had my share and these have the best flavor and are always cooked to perfection. I recently have had a problem with gluten and had been staying away but I havent stopped thinking about them so I googled and found out macarons are normally gluten free and if youre going to have them, you should have the Best! The flavor selection is beyond amazing and always changing. They post a daily flavor list on their Facebook page, its super easy and the staff is always very nice, helpful and patient because I always want a bunch of flavors so they happily pull out 2 or this and 3 of that and on and on. They will also sometimes run in the back to grab a flavor another employee has just made. Their salads are delicious as well, thought out and include a macaron. Plus they have deliver, whats not to love!

Only complain is I’d get abad batch every other time I buy here. There would be times when I’d get a stale batch, which tastes like they’ve been sitting there for awhile, and most times I feel like the macarons are filled with air. But, I do love french macarons so I tend to come back in hopes of getting a good batch, which I get on most occasions.
