Please beware of the contract.I was under the impression that this was free equipment and I had to pay the monthly fees. I was a customer for over a year, never missed a payment and even told friends and family about the awesome deal we were getting. Turns out, in the contract that the sales representative DIDN’T go over, you’re locked into a 36 month contract, and if for some reason you have to cancel your services, they charge you for the remainder of your contract. When I called she said usually the sales representatives don’t read off the contract and just leave it for us. My mistake for only listening to his very long presentation about what ADT is… but leaving the big part out.I just got a bill for $1,000. We moved to Alaska and they don’t service Alaska, so we couldn’t move our services here. We live in a rental and can’t hook up a system here. Very inconvenient. I suggest just getting security equipment off Amazon and not have a monthly bill or a surprise large sum of money charged to your account.

OUTRAGEOUS!!!The camera was not working from the beginning. The tech tried to power charge it and it worked for an hour and shut down for depleted battery by the time I came home. A charging cord was not included. The tech told me to remove the doorbell cam and charge it. 2 calls to your ASAP center. FINALLY found the outdated USB cord needed. Charged it all night got up and came out to living area to loud constant buzzing. Reattached doorbell and cam. Buzzing noise continued cam did not work. Bell and wall were heating up. Painter came and said this was an electrical short and needed disconnected quickly. System panel read disarm fault.I called your ASAP number and was told you could SEND SOMEONE JULY 7th!!! What???? I paid $1500 yesterday for SECURITY. I AM A SINGLE WOMAN WHO JUST MOVED INTO THIS CITY. SECURITY IS NOW.This is outrageous. You call this security?? So if the electrical fault you created causes a fire or my home is broken into you will have someone put out the fire or undo a theft in a week or so??? My god.I had to request. REQUEST a supervisor who will ‘get someone out the day after tomorrow.’Again. This is NOT 24 hour security. This would be comic relief we’re it not my home, my possessions, my safety, or my security.I would like to be contacted by someone in your upper level management. I want to know how this whole situation is going to be corrected. I want sincere and meaningful apologies and recompense and I want to hear a plan on how you are going to be addressing these issues going forward.If I do not hear from a responsible ADULT in your decision making arena and if I am not satisfied with the response I will mobilize my (considerable) internet and influencer resources and give you major publicity for your pathetic ‘security services’ and outright false claims of service.

If I could give ADT 0 stars, I would. We bought the top of the line system and it never worked right. When I called to complain, I was told I had to have a tech out three times before theyd cancel our contract and give us our money back. I had them out FOUR times and the system still didnt work. So they get to keep our money without having to actually provide a system because I refused to continue to waste my time having people come out and tell me there is nothing more they can do. What B.S. We now have a system with a different company and it works great. What was wrong with ADT?!

JT and Eric from ADT did a very professional install in my home. They explained everything very well and was very honest. The install was very straightforward and everything works incredible. Very fast security response times too and this group has great customer service. By far the best security system I have ever owned. Any Alaskan should use ADT installed by this local group! Better than Vivint or any other offering out there. You get what you pay for in this case.

We have had ADT for years and have been very happy with the product and service. Last night my car was broken into in front of the house. I got video of the suspect from our doorbell camera. As protection I called ADT to have 4 cameras installed. Within 2 hours they were here and installed the cameras. The price was fair and the work was excellent. We now have exterior surveillance as well as interior alarms and detectors. This brings us great peace of mind. I can now look around the whole property from my computer. The cameras are motion activated as well. They will film anything that moves. Even have night vision. Very pleased.

I made my request for an ADT system and 2 days later I have a brand new security system installed and protecting my home and family. JAMEY and Eric were the techs who installed my system and did a great job. Very professional. After the install, JAMEY spent the time making sure I understood my system and how it works. I must say that I do feel safer. Thank you JAMEY and ADT!

Jamey was great! He had to come back twice because we decided at the Last minute to add another camera. He is so friendly and helpful! Will definitely give him a call if we need anything!

I called ADT and install was set for the next day. Jamey was prompt and efficient. He was skilled at installs and was great at explaining everything to me. I am a long time Alaskan. We had Josh install our new security system. He was very personable and well informed about the workings of the alarm system. He was very neat and cleaned the installation debris as he worked. He thoroughly tested that the system was full functional before he left and spent extra time ensuring that we knew how to operate our alarm system. We are very pleased with the installation of our alarm system.

To whom it may concern I want to let you that Charles wnt above and beyond service form Charles and Jamie assist. Very professional, arrival on time and effective work done. I am a senior person and not familiar with the system they both assisted and took time to explain and they had great knowledge and assisted and made accommodations to fit all my need. I was treated with dignity and respect . I have had a thankful experience in having dealt with the employees of ADT.

Whenever I try and use the cameras to check on my grandma or try and see who is at the front door, the load times are horrendous. It is easier to get out of bed, get dressed walk to the other side of the house and check on things myself. I have tried to get them fixed but they tell me theres nothing wrong with the system it just takes a second. They must be traveling close to the speed of light because that second is about 4 to 8 minutes. DONT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM!

Make sure to read the contract!!!! Do yourself a favor and buy a security system at Sams club or Cost Co and save yourself a headache and make sure to mark on your calendar exactly 30 days before the end of your 36 month contract or they will automatically renew your contract with out notice, and then you will be subject to their contract termination fee, which is another 36 months of payments wrapped into one bill. You are also subject to them raising the price of your service after a year into your contract without notice. the sales person neglects to inform you of these things. These guys are some never give a sucker an even brake used car sales men. in my opinion if you had a decent company you wouldnt need to neglect to tell your customers about the with out notice renewal or the surprise hidden instillation fees. MAKE SURE TO READ THE CONTRACT!! THIS COMPANY IS LESS THAN PROFESSIONAL!!

The sales person, Carrie, was very helpful and knowledgeable of ADTs product line and gave us a great price on the installation. The two installers, Jamie and Eric, showed up two days later and were extremely helpful in giving us the system we wanted as well as fixing a couple of problems that MONTRONICS had messed up when they put in their system. Our siren, strobe and front windows now work. Although I liked the Simons system that Montronics put in for us several years ago, when I had a problem it took their tech 4 weeks to come out, with no parts or basic tools. He unhooked the battery, reconnected and said the unit was working again, which it did for a total of 3 days and then we had the same problem again. ADT has technicians right here in Anchorage that are readily available, polite, friendly, and definitely know their business. ADT tech Jamie needed a few more parts to complete our system, he went to the warehouse/shop and picked up the parts and was back in 1 hour. The ADT people are PROs. I wish I had never left ADT several years ago, but am happy to be back with the ADT family. Thank you Carrie, Jamie and Eric!!!

I called local customer service to check out malfunctioning alarm system and they said there is no charge covered by under warranty . Service agent said that to me but once service tech charge 175 dollars for no reason this is ridiculous .
