Maybe you rather have lunch from a salad bar or hot food combination. How about a whole rotisserie chicken or fresh salmon for dinner.You can find common to uncommon foods here. Fresh fruit and vegetables a plenty here with some organic options.Relax at a table and read the paper. Youll find this is a great place to read a newspaper or meet with a group of friends.

They have fresh oysters available all the time and a variety of basic needs. The staff is friendly and helpful.Also there is a small coffee shop and cafe area inside along with fresh delivered pastries. Is a good alternative if the fire island bakery is packed out the door.There is a real lack of organic veg and fruit. As well not much ethical meat. For the image they seem to cultivate this is a bit surprising...

Big coffee shop fan? There is a Kaladis cafe inside the New Sagaya City Market at this location, with a sitting area large enough for small group meetings while having plenty of tables for those who want to study or work on their laptops by themselves. There is also outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the sun. Hungry? Kakadis has pastries and baked goods available. There are freshly made deli and salad bar food items at the store with groceries throughout Sagaya. A+

Looking for a great local market? This is the place to go. Love the fish counter and the deli. Im so happy to have a market like this in my neighborhood. Great specialty food. Service is excellent.

We actually visited the grocery store here. It was across from out hotel and the store was fantastic. The coffee must be great as the line was out the door.

I like shopping at City Market however the only reason Im motivated to review is due to an employee, Joshua. Amazing customer service! He exhausted all avenues trying to find an herb I was looking for. Very patient and helpful!

Interesting neighborhood market, deli and coffee shop. Decent deli food, but some dishes tend to be a bit cafeteria quality and bland. Many products available that are difficult to find. Good fresh seafood variety. Can be a bit pricy, overall, but still a good place to have lunch, coffee or do some specialty shopping. Has a health food orientation, but not as much as it used to. Both N.S. stores in Anchorage are pretty close in quality and product, however the one on Old Seward is my favorite.

Fish crew here is great! Looking for Red King Crab!?! Call ahead and pay ahead for your poundage. 30 minutes later pick it up and eat there in their deli area. Bring scissors and melt some butter. Best King Crab in Anchorage and costs not nearly what a fancy restaurant does. Staff there is friendly, helpful, funny, and accomodating!

Such a great place to get coffee or to get some work done. Theres a really productive atmosphere there and the people are really nice. Just a great coffee shop in general. The coffee is pretty top notch too.

One of my favorite stops for food in anchorage

I used to go here quite frequently for the Chinese takeout but holy HECK has it gone majorly downhill. Their beef is so awful I just threw it out. It used to be my favorite dish but... never again, man. The grocery store is still cool tho

Really like this place. Not being from here it has been a blessing. The salad bar and deli have been fantastic. Plus they have a little seating area to drink coffee and eat. Highly recommend.

We marketed at this Sagaya for years, when we lived in Alaska. I called and ordered about 5 pounds of Copper River KIng Salmon to be air-shipped to our Florida address. The fish arrived the following day, vacuum sealed and surrounded by still-frozen gel packs. It was delicious!The person with whom I spoke was knowledgeable, very helpful, efficient and polite. Its the next best thing to being there!5+ stars.

The Baristas here are TOP NOTCH. I go almost every morning and I love this place. It’s a little expensive as a small grocer but unique options to choose from. But at the very least, this is probably the best espresso in town.

Wide variety of foods that are of a higher quality. If youre looking for unique foods, you should check out New Sagaya. It is over priced, however. The coffee is fantastic. Trendy atmosphere. Quality seafoods from Alaska.

I for some reason thought this was going to be a coffee shop, but it was located inside of a larger supermarket, making it a little noiser than I wouldve hoped. But they have a varied menu and it honestly wasnt terribly loud.

Went in there this morning with about 15 middle schoolers. I thought I would be waiting in line for a while! I was wrong! Staff was fast, efficient, and friendly! Great way to start the morning!

I have happily shopped here for years, but the current produce guy is just awful. The contents of the salad bar seems to depend upon his hangover. If he was up partying the night before, its full of canned beans! And, dont even think of trying to get a salad after 2 pm. Last time I was in there at 3, it had 8 empty containers. Would you want to eat chicken or fish that has been unchecked for that amount of time??

The grocery store had a good variety of most any food you want. A lot of the stuff was a little on the expensive side. They have a salad bar as well as a deli, bakery and a coffee stand inside. A decent local grocery store.

I rarely have the chance to come here because I dont live in Anchorage, but I love this place. The food is great and the prices are hard to beat. You can find things at this market that are near impossible to find elsewhere.

The staff get 5 stars!!! I love them. Wonderful place for fresh fish!!! Its small but has quite a bit of stuff. A little pricey but I think Anchorage is just expensive.

Service is ok, food is ok, prices are high, even for Alaska-unfortunately that’s what you get in the only small grocery in west downtown Anchorage. Portions are huge on the to go food, though!

Kaladi coffee is delicious. And I love their dedication to making a difference in our community.

Showed up at 6am and ordered a iced frappe, tasted good. Also realized a good chunk of Anchorage Police Officers show up at the same time to enjoy their morning coffee.

Selection of drinks has declined in recent years although this location has a good Kaladi coffee station and hot food at a reasonable price. Good fresh handmade desert selection, and some good produce.

Great variety of natural and organic food. Good ethnic food section and fresh produce. A little pricey, but worth it.

Great small store with everything you need. Kaladi brothers inside too. More expensive than the bigger stores but a great local place.

This is a cute little market just outside of downtown. It is a great destination for specialty ingredients, esp. for Asian cuisine.

Good variety of choices. The hot and cold bar is yummy, homemade soups and other food made fresh daily. Good produce selection but not huge. Decently priced, always friendly staff when I go. I go here over carrs, just easer and they carry local Ak grown stuff!

The Doppio is very good. Friendly baristas and high quality coffee. New segaiya location (pardon my spelling) has friendly baristas and amazing pastries. Would reccomend.

Great coffee, moderately priced, a bit crowded which can slow the service. Lacking ambiance if you wanted to have your coffee in the shop, rather than on the go.

Waaaay overrated and overpriced store with limited selection, especially for seafood products. Definitely was hoping for much more,... but nothing (?!) offered as far as cooked or even smoked fish, crabs, spreads, etc. No seafood in the deli, and whats shown there looked like at least a week old... no thanks!

Cant beat the price of their make-your-own salad bar. Just dont load up on really dense stuff and you should be able to have a nice large lunch salad for about $5. FYI, Im a 200lbs guy.
