I dont buy a lot of steel but when I do buy it, I buy it from Alaska Steel. They have always been pleasant to deal with and helpful. Sticks of the stuff I buy are 20 ft. Not a problem, they cut in half for me and load it up. I have bought 4ft x 4ft x1/4 steel plate and had a 18inch 3/4 inch thick round cut for me. everything was cut and looked great.

The customer service is actually amazing, very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with. If you have a smile on your face, nine times out of ten so will they. When it comes to the people in the shop they are super kind as well, always willing to load steel up and wipe it down no questions asked.

Major shout out to Bri for helping me push my way through understanding steel, the sizes, and what I need. Will be back for all metal needs.

Contrary to the customer complaints they have a great staff and do their best to ensure the little guys dont feel so little. Ive gone in a few times just for some small pieces that they simply just gave me knowing id be back for the next project!

Im a small retail consumer and Ive had great service over the years.

Piss poor customer service. I put in an application while they were hiring, and went in to their office multiple times to ask about my application . Ill have the hiring manager get ahold of you..... 3 months later, and not one phone call, email or anything back.

This place has very bad customer service. They are leases here.

Customer services is a joke. Employees have very little knowledge about steel or steel fabrication.
