I love when I come across a dispensary that is doing everything right! With two shops in town, I visited their beautiful, clean, and spacious dispensary on the corner of East 3rd Avenue and Unga Street. Super friendly budtender who knew her strains and gave awesome recommendations. I love their cannabis and choice of cultivators. They have a very informative and beautifully designed website where they even post blog articles surrounding cannabis. They constantly post on social media and engage with their following. Everyone should know that they give back to the community. They have helped raise a lot of funds for the Mountain View Community Center and the Mountain View Boys and Girls Club. AK Slow Burn, you are so awesome! Keep it up!

Got a 10$ gram of white Christmas and it weighted under wasnt even close to 1 gram& the 2 employees that were there didnt show good customer service. I do not recommend this place.

Great store, great atmosphere, great experience! The new Tudor store looks great and the budtender was very friendly and efficient. He recommended a THC patch to help relieve some pain. He also helped me pair some flower product to enhance my overall relief.

This is a nice small place to visit. People were great. Thats the up side. The down side is that I got a pre-rolled and end up with well sorry to say... Leaf and stems. I know the real product doesnt taste or smell like that. Better trimming would fix this. 😔

I feel like Norm on Cheers, the staff make it a personal responsibility to know your name. Real people, great staff and they give the tips to Boys and Girls club.And I like the fact that they post their prices (before tax) for the products they sell, other stores in my opinion hide the cost of their products behind adding the tax to the final total cost you pay.I recommend to friends and have seen many of them there. I recommend you just go in and talk to them, then just look, window shopping is free and it doesn’t hurt. The best part of this place is the price of pipes and other rigs. The cheapest in town I think. The prices are a little more for pre rolled but its not so high to go some place else. Get everything with one stop.

Ive been going to Slow Burn since they opened maybe 3 years?. Been a stoner for 15 years though. 5 stars not because they have the best stuff, but because they do have the most convenient prices and quality for those prices( Bang for your buck). Staff is awsome! They have always been honest even replacing 2 cartridges that didnt work for me.. I go here for the vape cartridges every week which they have The Best ones in anchorage and Ive been everywhere in anchorage! Literally. There bud is 8/10 but there cartridges and prices for everything else is the best youll find. Again there bud isnt the best but you wont find any vape cartridges in town that will beat their quality. I guarantee it. Their staff is amazingly knowledgeable and they help you fast. Good people run and work this business and I stand behind them fully Id stake my stoner reputation on it.

They have a lot of choices at Slow Burn, but the prices are s little higher than most other outlets. However they do have $200 ounces from time to time which is one of the best deals I have found.

People here r pretty kool. Only problems was the menu scrolls way too fast. U cant really see what they have. And this is THE ONLY 1 ive seen that doesnt check your ID BEFORE they open the door for you to go in. You just walk rite up to counter.... Then they check it. Pre-rolls r so small compared to others.... Same weight just seems to b shake tho.

So apparently the people at this shop don’t roll the pre rolls properly because as soon as I light one of their 15 dollar .75 pre rolls (which btw they’re raping you) but the entire joint turns to dust and all the weed comes flying out of the joint and onto my carpet because they use shake even if it says flower. The weed was powder that’s how fine it was. Anyways the prices are way tooo expensive and they don’t even have discount cards. I’m saying this with the literal best intention when I say just go to Alaska buds, they have amazing customer service and the cheapest prices In Alaska. On top of that after u make a few visits they give u a discount card that’s 10% off your purchase normally and 15% on Fridays.

Kinda pricey... New place though so hopefully prices will improve with time.
