I would definitely take my car back to Southside Automotive! David, the owner, was kind, helpful, patient and understanding. I felt David and his mechanic were very honest with me. David was more than fair with me. He is in the business for the right reason!

Absolutely would not take my vehicle anywhere else! David, the owner, was so kind and helpful when I was in a bind. I never felt like I was being tricked out of my money or anything like that. His mechanic fixed my brakes and replaced it all with no problem, and my vehicle is running like a charm now. I would one hundred percent recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Being someone who really knows nothing about cars, I was really nervous to go anywhere out of fear that they would just tell me a bunch of things needed fixed that actually didnt (you know how that goes), but I never felt like that was going on here. Shout-out to David for being so friendly and for running a company that really cares about the customers!!

Southside Auto, thank you for looking out for my grandmother. She took her car into another dealership for an oil change and left in tears with a rental car and an estimate for over $3800. I have taken my car to Southside over a dozen times in the past and they care about customer service, so I asked if they would verify the repairs needed. Southside took the time to confirm what two other independent auto repair businesses eventually told me: the repairs were not necessary for safety, and wouldnt be for at least 6 more months (tires do wear out). 3 service techs at different companies all agreed that at most, the bill should be under $1000.Southside now primarily sells cars, so it meant even more that the owner took over a half hour to work with me and confirm these suspicions. In fact, they doubled down and made an offer to buy my grandmothers car at a more than reasonable price if she wanted to sell it! They took the time to show me why the repairs were not needed, and how to check for myself in the future if needed. They clearly had nothing to hide.I am so gratetful to Southside for their years of honest and reasonably priced repairs, and they will be my first choice to look next time I need an excellent used car (or to sell one). Thank you Southside for going above and beyond because you actually care about the customers too, not just the cars.

The best! Dave is very personable and stands behind his word. His cars are excellent, and very low pressure to buy! I LOVED IT THERE, and would recommend Southside to anyone looking for a car.

Our daughter just bought her second vehicle from David at Southside Automotive and we cant say enough great things about him and his mechanic, Shane! They have gone above and beyond every time we have worked with them. Very personable, fair prices, great vehicles and without a doubt will be the person we turn to when my husband and I are ready for our next car! Even though the vehicles she purchased were sold as is, David made certain that every inch of the car was inspected and road ready ....with nothing but our daughters safety and good business ethics in mind. He even went so far as to put an entire new set of tires on her most recent purchase at no additional expense to her! You wont find THAT type of service at any of the other used car lots we have shopped at over the years!

I drove my daughter from KY (3 hours away) to look at the blue Mazda 6 in mid April thats still there. It was going to be her first car. David seemed great although before our trip he had emailed my daughter a lesser price & then said it was a mistake & he wouldnt honor the price. We test drove the car and it made a strange ticking sound. Both our mechanic & my daughters dad listened to it over the phone & both said it needed lifters. I took home a heartbroken daughter with no car, wasted an entire Saturday that cost me $70 in gas. David said he would have the car checked by a Mazda dealer and call us with an update. I told him we would still buy it if he had it fixed but we never heard from him again. Replacing lifters can be a big expensive job & not having it done will result in blown rods. Please beware!

These guys are good. They are very personal and very honest. They have very reasonable pricing and do good work! They have become my wife and Is go-to-mechanics!

Went into Southside Automotive with the intention of buying my first car. Talked to Dave and let him know my situation, and that it was my first car. He was very friendly and helpful from the start of the experience, let me test drive her and even offered to fix the inner door panel which was coming off a tiny bit (not a big deal, the car was a 1996 and in wonderful condition inside and out other than that tiny flaw). He even took a quick look at my mom’s breaks while we were there for no charge! Let my mom and I put a down payment on it and come back when we had the rest of the money. He even filled up the tank for me as a first car present!! Overall, wonderful experience, extraordinary customer service, understanding people, and genuinely concerned for their customer’s well-being! I would definitely do business with them again, and would recommend friends and family! Now I’m just waiting for the weather to get warm again so I can drop the top of my new (to me) convertible!!!
