I brought a pair of my glasses that I needed lens put in. Honestly, I was skeptical, and nervous having them work on my Jimmy Choo frames, but when I picked them up, the job was so beautifully done. Took my eye prescription in. Personnel acknowledged my presence. Staci came to assist me. She explained where to find what I was looking for. She ask me more specific desires and non desires for frames. She stayed with me to narrow down to five. We then sat down while my boyfriend and I narrowed down those five w the help of Staci and another employee. Choice was made. Returned week after they were ready and picked up. I could see sight improvement immediately after places them on. No adjustments needed to frames. Left very pleased and confident w new glasses. Wish price was lower but I required specifics w lens. Watch for their deals.

I got my first eye exam there and it was so quick and easy. The doctor made you feel right at home and absolutely knows what he’s doing! When it came to getting the actual glasses, SUE IS MY HERO. I had no idea what to look for and all of the options were pretty overwhelming. She helped me right away and her personality was amazing. My experience at this place was like being in a Three Stooges movie. Went in to get glasses. That process went smoothly and the lady who worked with me was great. Got 2 pair of glasses one set with progressive lenses the other regular lenses. Thats when the comedy commenced. I pick them up put on the progressive pair and go about my business. I realize that one of my progressive lenses is not getting dark but I just thought it was me. So I took it back along with my other pair. Lo and behold, they had put one progressive lens in each pair. So I had one regular lens and one progressive lens in both pair. Who does that? And today when I got them fixed, they did the same thing again with my second pair. I will go somewhere else next time.

Ive used this place before they were just okay. Today my wife and I went in to buy glasses and they told me to download a 20% coupon from my phone. I could not bring the coupon up and they said sorry nothing we can do about it you have to pay full price. I do not recommend this place at all and I will never be back.

Fallon was very helpful with picking out glasses and getting me the best price. For what I use to pay for 1 pair of glasses, I was able to get 2 pair for what I paid for 1 last year at another place. My first time at Eyemart Express will definitely not be my last! The friendly and knowledgeable staff went over the various types of lenses and costs involved as well as answering all of my questions. They helped me choose frames that suited my face and my budget without compromising on value. I even referred one of my friends there, and she has an appointment already set up for an eye exam and to pick out her new glasses. I couldnt be more pleased!

At first I was not happy. I was waiting on my eye appointment and was going to go browse the glasses while I waited for my appointment. However, a lady said to me... if you aren’t getting them now you have to wait before you can look at them and you need to wait in their lobby. So, that made the 1st impression.The 2nd impression was when I went to get my eyes checked... it was a challenge because of having to wear masks the machine kept fogging up. The doctor kept saying over and over hold the mask tightly around your nose. (Which I was)... he was very frustrated as I was.However, when I was finished and had my script in hand... I began to browse to see what glasses I would want. One of the other workers (not the one that was rude and loud)... but this worker named *Stacie* was amazing!Stacie took the time to give me opinions about the glasses and how she thought they looked on me.. she treated me with respect and kindness not just a person to hurry to get out of the store. Stacie also explained the extras that I could get with the lens that would help me.If you go to Eyemart my suggestion is to ask if Stacie is there and have her help you. So friendly! We had a great experience today with the staff at Eyemart Express. They have a wide variety of frame options from $20 and up. My wife chose COACH designer frames and with our insurance they only cost $30 out of pocket.The staff was friendly and very helpful. They were great with social distancing and making sure any frames that were touched were sanitized before being placed back out.10/10 would recommend!!

Great store with knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Wide variety and size options (I have a big head).Fair pricing and speedy turnaround time.Covid related: everyone masked properly and a limited number of customers allowed in the store. Masks provided for those without. As customers try on glasses they are sanitized before they are put back on display.

I went here today for an eye exam and to pick out some new frames. I was highly recommended. The receptionist and techs were so friendly and nice! However, Dr. Van Forrester was EXTREMELY rude and arrogant. He repeatedly asked me why have I waited so long to get new glasses. Um sorry, not everyone has extra money to update their lenses. I even had to ask him if he had an attitude. He made me feel so bad. I was in college and just had a baby. So I haven’t had time or the funds to upgrade. I’m not saying his attitude was racially instigated, but he was treating the white customers very different! Will not be back or recommend them.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! They are amazing and super friendly! Both mine and my husbands glasses were done in less than 30 minutes! And they have the BEST prices around! They explain everything plainly and make it super simple for you to under stand! Most definitely recommend!

BCBS does not cover the glasses purchased from this store. Do NOT buy eyeglasses from them without calling your insurance and confirming. I just got my vision insurance claim denied by BCBS because this store is out-of-network. I gave them my insurance card and they did not tell me that it would not be covered. Honestly, they just acted like they were in hurry taking my money and get me out of the door. I just wish they had told me about the insurance coverage.Update:Ive called the store about my situation. Then posted this review. A coupe of hours later, George called me back and he was very nice. He said I can return the glasses and get refunded. So I went to the store yesterday and got a full refund. George was vey friendly and nice during the whole process. Georges outstanding performance is a huge positive addition to the Eyemart Express, Anderson. On the other hand, the original salesperson Stacie needs a bit improvement on the attitude/service. I hope no one in the future will be laughed at because of their race/ethnicity and/or the amount of their budget. Thanks so much George! I have worn/been wearing glasses since I was in middle school & now Im 30 years old. I can remember each and every time I have been to get an eye exam and to get fitted for new glasses, but my experience with Eyemart Express in Anderson, SC was by far one of my favorite an most memorable. After asking upfront if my Bluecross Blueshield insurance would cover my eye exam. I was told that it would. I am diabetic and it pays for a yearly exam. But their vision insurance is through Guardian VSP. When I checked out they told me I owed $60. I said for what. They said deductible. I said my vision insurance should pay for it. They said my vision was out of network. Rip off clip joint. My wife needs a pair too. Don’t worry I will never go there again.

I had a great experience. I bought two of the cheaper frames to see how well they did. I carried in my prescription, I left the store and they sent me a text in TWELVE minutes... My glasses were ready. A few minor adjustments and I was ready to go. I will be shopping there again.

Purchased new eyeglasses at Anderson, SC store. Positive was the staff left me alone to look for a frame that worked for my face which isnt easy. However the saleswoman that worked with me after I chose the frames I wanted wasnt very good. When I told her I wasnt interested in the anti-scratch/anti-glare package she was not happy, and while not rude was curt after this. Then as I go to pay for the glasses and lenses a sudden extra charge of about 16$ popped up for high refraction index. Funny she never told me about this before I made the decision to buy, however I needed the glasses and decided to not argue about it. Get glasses made in about an hour as promised, ask her to adjust the nose pieces since I have a thin nose line. She proceeds to adjust ONE side, and apparently scratched the lens with the needle nose pliers, however I didnt notice it at the time since the scratch was small but still visible when you look for it.I didnt have much confidence in asking for the other nose piece to be adjusted so I left and she didnt seem to care about good service after the purchase. Not happy, especially since the pair of frames and single prescription lenses were over 260$! Extremely disappointed in my experience at this store. Surprising since there are so many good reviews thats why I decided to shop here.

Stacie was amazing and helped me pick out 2 frames and some sunglasses. Everyone really likes the new specs and Ill definitely be a forever customer now. Trust and believe Ill always send people your way and steer them clear of Americas (WORST), I mean Best haha. Yeah EyeMart is the place to go if you like genuine customer service, crazy cheap prices, a doctor who is hilarious (White Reggae Man haha) and super cool frames. Took my sister for a much MUCH needed pair of glasses. The frame specialist was quite helpful and informed us of our options without subjecting us to high pressure up-sale antics. Although a machine had malfunctioned in the lab, the lenses were still ready early the following day (a Saturday). Whereas the coupon wed hoped to use ultimately didnt work out (do they ever?) the glasses were still under $100 and worth every penny. I highly recommend Eyemart for those on an extremely tight budget.

This was the absolute best experience I had out of the 2 days I spent shopping for eye glasses for my son and myself. We went to 3 different places those 2 days. Catherine was who helped us. She honestly cared about what we wanted and she got us the best glasses we could get in our budget. everybody in the store cared. I have no doubt if you compare the places in Anderson the way I did you will get the same conclusion.P.S. As far as I know this is also the only eye place that will provide you with 1 day service all inclusive. You get your prescription then pick your your glasses then they make them all in the same building all in the same day.

My daughter has a vision impairment. For 11 years, we were used to people telling us it would take 2 weeks at least to get the lenses back. The people at EyeMart Express had them ready in an hour. All the staff were so kind and caring. We will differently be back.

Ive been to Eyemart Express in Anderson at least three times over the past decade, and its always been a very good experience. I made a mistake going somewhere else (A.B.) recently, and that was a disaster. It took weeks to get lousy glasses I ended up returning. I got a great deal. The customer service was excellent. I only wish there was a larger value selection. I only had 4 pair of metal frames to choose from that was included in the 2 pair for $38. Ive already had to go back to get them adjusted Because they are cutting into my skull behind my ear & leaving indentions. Also my nose feels bruised on the top from the nose pieces. Other than that it was a good deal.

Absolutely an amazing office! Got my sons eye exam scheduled with only a moments notice AND both of his new glasses were ready in just 28 minutes!! Thats UNHEARD OF! Their superb employee, Gail, not only knew how to read the mind of a 16 yr old, but had the patience to find 2 amazing frames that he abdolutely loved! Again, we were new patients, out of state, and they took care of us like family! This is the way to run a business! Sooooo thankful!!!!!

Had an appointment at the eye doctor for my daughter and she was giving an glasses RX so i came to here to get it filled ... the lady going to tel me it have already been filled .... smdh how it’s be fill and this my child first time getting glasses ? Then she going to tell me i need to call my insurance provider to get it removed! No you need to damn call not me you the doctor... no help so I’m here on hold and waiting on them ... i will not be coming here to get glasses anymore i will go elsewhere

I got new glasses on Friday 13 of October. Has them adjusted a few times. On Sat the 14th I called because I couldn’t wear them, it was close to closing time. So they told me to come in Monday morning and pick out a different pair for free. They were very polite and helpful.

When I called and ask if I could just get a new pair of glasses (which I was willing to pay for) I was told that I couldnt get the glasses without a valid prescription and when I asked if they had any suggestions on what I could do since I dont have any insurance at the moment the lady told me no then hung up. Very rude!!!!
