After I asked the workers to make a extra creamy milkshakeI heard alot of grunting at first, but then it all went silent then they emerged with a milkshake dripping with droplets of milk and more ;)The taste was immaculate, quite sour but some sweet.It was extra THICK but had some runny parts10/10 service from them unforgettable.

The cold brew was amazing. Dont live in Ann Arbor but will probably go again next time we visit.

Was pretty busy on a Saturday morning because of the farmers market but the baristas worked very quickly! Latte was great and very pretty. They gave out drinks without lids and everyone put on their own lids if desired at a separate station (I think as a covid precaution).

Went in on Sunday for a simple black coffee which turned out to be, hands down, the most revolting cup I have had in my entire life. I had never dreamt this was something capable of being so poorly executed. Ive had my share of weak breakroom coffee, burned diner coffee and sludgy espresso but the originality of this nightmare borders on the impressive. Simultaneously bitter and tasteless? with a moldy aftertaste. Perhaps this was just a bad day, so your mileage may vary, but I needed to preserve this experience in writing for posterity.

We were there about 8 am. I had a Dragons Eye and my companion had Lemonade. The menu was different and the one staff member was pleasant and efficient. I would go back!

I’m a regular costumer at this place. This time I bought a coffee (Zingerman’s coffee) from across the street but they had just changed their dine-in policy due to covid case rise, so I take my coffee and comes to sit in Sweetwaters. 30 mins later a manager comes in to kick me out because I have not spent money at Sweetwaters, telling me “we have limited seating so it’s only for people that buy stuff from here.” I consider that a rude and unprofessional way to treat someone that usually comes in to spend money in your place. You just lost my business, and I hope the owner reads this.

Very cozy Sweetwater nuzzled into a corner of Kerrytown. The staff are very friendly and expedient and there is lots of seating.

Sweet Waters offers good coffee and variety of teas and other cafe styled drinks. Their cafe is cute and accommodating, they offer great value and arent over charging for anything. A local cafe that deserves your business.

The matcha latte was extremely burned and un-drinkable. after a few sips, i had to dispose of the drink. also, the dragon eye was not sweet at all, contrary to the description stating “sweetened condensed milk”. it tasted like a splash of the milk and looked watery. waste of time and money.

I was happy that they were open on Memorial day while all the nearby restaurants were closed. Was able to grab a quick bite and escape the heat.

Every time I visit the customer service is superb. My Mom is an older lady who doesnt think very quickly and, rather than try to rush her, the staff was patient, listened and explained. The food was great. The drinks were even better and its just always such a great place to visit.

Coffee was ok! Not the best thou! The smell of the dinner over covering the coffee brew, for that I gave 3 stars

Great customer service! Every employee I came in contact with was pleasant and inviting...and there were a lot because the place was packed! Awesome spot to work. Reminded me of a lot of smaller Portland spots, casual and fun vibe.Coffee: Great job on the coffee as it was prepared the proper way and presented correctly.

Didn’t get what I ordered and the gentlemen argued with me that it was. Not worth the effort arguing over 3$ or so during a pandemic, but I would expect they could get some basics correct

My boyfriend and I were doo-bopping around Ann Arbor for a few days and came across this wonderful shop! We were there on Friday, April 12tharound 4 and Saturday, April 11th around 2. We had the same cashier both days we stopped in and she remembered me from the day prior. Prices were more than reasonable, and their cold brew is FANTASTIC. As someone who manages a cafe herself, the atmosphere was very inviting and although they were busy it remained clean and the staff was composed. We will definitely be stopping in again next time were in town!

Cute and cozy, great for studying or catching up with a friend. The times Ive gone (later evening on weekdays) have been pretty quiet, which I enjoyed.

Im a little confused why this place has such good ratings. The coffee is cheap, but not very good, the staff is kind of rude, and the wifi barely works. There are plenty of better places to get coffee in Ann Arbor.

This is the latest Sweetwaters to open in Ann Arbor. The usual offerings of the others in the area. While the space is updated and contemporary which I like, the long narrowness of the café isnt my favorite setup. I prefer the Washington St and Kerrytown locations ambiance a little better.

I love sweet waters and this location is very nice because it is integrated with the shopping building and the market.
