This coffee shop quickly became my go to spot this summer on days off work. Very welcoming, great tasting coffee that comes well sized, and just a great spot to sit down for a few hours if you want to read, work, or relax.

Loved this little hide out on Washtenaw thats underground, shares premises with a church and provides a great place to chill or just hangout and work or study. Low traffic (although that couldve been a result of Saturday post-game timing) on the afternoon and good cafe menu.Lots of board games to play with while you visit, like Cultivate in Ypsi (but nearer, hence walkable by A2 students) and good staff. We ordered a mocha, chocolate milk and a cortado respectively and all were good👍🏻

Possibly my favorite cafe in Ann Arbor, and definitely my favorite place to study on campus. Consistently friendly service, excellent coffee/espresso drinks, and now they even have baked goods from DJ’s Bakery for a quick study snack. Soooo good.

This was an AMAZING find during midterm season. ALL cafes and libraries are PACKED and I was so pleased this place was far enough to take a 10min walk, but close enough to be convenient. Its so empty and quiet with plenty of outlets. I personally enjoyed their elevator music, and their selection of drinks and muffins. My new go-to when I need a quiet place to study! 10/10 recommend, but hope this place stays a hidden gem :)

Solid little hipster coffee shop on the corner of Greenview & Morse. Good coffee, served by folks who arent totally unfriendly, and a useful spot to settle in and work or read for awhile. Theres a small bookshelf in fact tucked away in one corner of the shop along with a couple comfy chairs, and a larger open space next to the smaller bar side of the shop. Outlets to plug in near the tables if you need. A few handmade crafty things for sale, too.

I love Common Cup! Great quiet place to study in the hill area. Theyre a part of Flocktag so every 10 coffees you get a free one. You can sit down and study surrounded by their rotating art on the walls - which are available to buy! In the lower level of a church, they have board games and puzzles for those who wanna hang out too. I have never had a noise issue here when I really needed to focus. They play soft chill background music.

Ive been coming to the Common Cup for 4 years+. Of all of the places (Ive done graduate school at the U...Ive tried all of the coffee shops in town) to study in Ann Arbor I find it the best. Reasons:- Parking. You can park your car here and not have to pay. This cant be said of any of the other coffee shops located within the city of Ann Arbor.- Prices: ~2.75 for a bottomless cup. Cant be beat.- Ambiance: there are rotating art exhibits that are up on the walls that make the space change from month to month. When I have to do some serious studying it is nice to have a place without windows to minimize distractions.- Internet/Outlets: exceptionally fast. I have never had any issues with connecting. Most tables have access to an outlet so youre able to stay for a while to get work done.- Quality: Hyperion coffee is served and it is consistently excellent.- Staff: All incredibly friendly/helpful.- Hours: It isnt open until as late as some of the other coffee shops, but during the academic year it is open until 10.All in all I cannot say enough good things. You should stop by!

The Common Cup has the best cup of coffee in Ann Arbor! The coffee is very upscale and refined in flavor; and their prices seriously beat Comet Coffee and Mighty Good. 5 stars on customer service, atmosphere, prices, quality, parking, etc.! My overall experience here was beyond pleasant. Being a Christian coffee shop connected to the church, I expected to be ambushed at the door with people with pamphlets which, even being a Christian myself, makes me anxious. However, that was not the case here at The Common Cup. It functions the same as any nice coffee shop should, very relaxed. It is a great space for everyone. I like their acceptability of the public and their subtle Christian hues for anyone who is receptive of them (but they are not overbearing or forced at all). Oh and another 5 stars on the play on words with the name and the WiFi passsword ;)

My daughter performed there and it was disappointing that people play board games and talk really loud while someone is trying to listen to live entertainment. It seems like the games would be fine when nothing else is going on, but some were just rude! Sorry to say the hot chocolate was like hot water.
