AMAZING classic donuts here! I try the donuts in every town that I visit and these definitely make my best ever list! I knew they had to be good when I showed up at 9am and there was already a line out the door! The coconut raised and the chocolate peanut cake donuts were my favorites.

I wish I could give them 10 stars. Their staff is friendly and everything is absolutely amazing. Most amazing pretzels you’ll ever eat. You literally cannot beat the price… They could easily double their prices and be just as busy, especially for a town like A2. If you haven’t been you’re seriously missing out.

What a wonderful neighborhood bakery! The building is not impressive from the outside but what lurks inside is delicious. Whether it’s sweet treats that are always fresh (I love the plain fry cake donuts) or the hot ham/cheese buns for something savory, it is always worth the stop. The owners are super friendly and their covid precautions over the last year have been top notch. Worth going put of your way for!

Great local neighborhood bakery. Their muffins are giant and buttery. Only tried a couple of the cookies...but 👍. The jelly filled donuts are going to be cause for me to take up running again ☺️. Ill definitely be back over and over. Price is extremely reasonable, support local.

Always friendly people behind the counters and donuts are delicious. The apple fritters are a delight, my partner enjoys the crullers. Pretzels and ham and cheese buns are tasty, though more often sell out.

Easily the best donuts Ive had east of the Mississippi. If youre familiar with Southern California style donuts, that what you get here. Unreal old fashioned, apple fritter, glazed raised, jelly and other donuts. On top of it, delicious fresh pretzels and ham/cheese pretzel buns that will melt your brain. This is a family-owned small business with wonderful, kind proprietors.Run, dont walk to the best donut joint in SE Michigan.

A future Ann Arbor institution if its not already. Their donuts are amazing, especially the sugared and glazed. I never though I would say this but their glazed is good enough to rival krispy kremes glazed which I would consider apex king of all heart attack foods. It tastes even better knowing that its coming from a family business.

Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Fresh donuts and amazing bagels and pretzels. The owner is really nice and prices fair. Looking forward to trying the sheet cake once they are fully up and running. Very clean and good seating.

Incredible, delicious, old-school style bakery. Got a large assortment of different donuts and all were 10/10. Soft pretzels were 12/10! Ill be going back again soon. *Edited to add* Just had the best blueberry muffin of my entire life from there. No joke.

This was my first visit to DJs and I was impressed by how clean the place was and by the delicious fragrance in the air. At 10 something in the morning there were still lots of donuts and there was a steady stream of customers who came in to get sometimes just a short box, sometimes just a couple donuts, or in my case a dozen donuts plus an amazing apple fritter.

This is what I think of as a true townie location. Unpretentious but full of value and aspirations. No maple-bacon, fruity pebbles, chocolate chipotle creations here. Instead you have classic flavored donuts whose appeal and satisfaction does not wax and wane with time. Delicious iced Vietnamese coffee and Tai iced tea. Love their fresh soft pretzels. The ham and cheese bun is a wonderful, homey meal on its own.

Give this bakery a chance. Rustic, organic, homey come in and get your gluten fill - doughnuts you people! Call & ask if they have gluten free, idk?? Aroma, food and special tea all great by me!

Today was my first visit to this bakery. I bought chocolate-frosted donuts, blueberry cake donuts, and apple fritters. All were good, but the fritters were extraordinary - definitely the best I’ve ever had. The service was fast and friendly and the price was reasonable. This place is pretty perfect.

This is our new favorite go to bakery. The doughnuts are awesome, the muffins are top tier - even saved for the next day... but the biggest surprise was the Thai iced tea and Vietnamese coffee. These beverages are the unexpected icing on the cake. If you haven’t tried this place out, you’re missing out!Wonderful fast service, reasonable prices and a place worth coming back to often! This is the regular kind local place that you don’t find much anymore.

Love it, the pastries are very good, theres a decent variety, staff are friendly, and the store is clean. Parking is not so good so its best to park on the side street and walk to the store, its not far maybe 1/3 of a brock. Give it a try I think you will like it.

The best donuts around BY FAR! Glazed twists are our favorite, but lemon filled and cinnamon roll are also fantastic! Their dough is so much better than other yeast donuts.

I dont normally drink coffee but their coffee was incredible. Donuts were also delicious and there were many to choose from.

My whole family loves it and they all know what they like. Every time our dad walks out of the car with a big white box we know we’re in for a treat! You can rack up quite a bill here, but its worth a little extra for supporting a local business and the variety they put out: donuts, danishes, fritters, etc.My favorites are their meat and cheese pretzel rolls (great for a non-sweet breakfast on the go) and Vietnamese-style coffee. Dont know what that is? Go and try one and you wont be disappointed.

Wow I really love the raised donuts here! I also tried the cheese filled pretzel bun, it was fantastic, even cold! But they will warm it up for you if you want. The woman behind the counter was quite friendly and made me smile. The presentation is fabulous, making you want to try everything there. Prices are very reasonable. Check this place out soon!

DJs is great! Quiet, quaint, and delicious. Finally decided to stop in when I was out walking in the cold, and a small coffee and fantastic maple nut yeast donut was exactly what I needed. The yeast donuts are so light and airy with perfect texture.The two women servicing the counter were incredibly polite and patient, and the selection of bakery items wide enough to make you take a little time to peruse, especially if youve never been in, with donuts, scones, pretzels, coffee and more.Also if you cant tell from the picture this place gets excellent light, and sitting at the window bar is a perfect way to get your dose of morning(or afternoon) sunlight out of the brisk cold.Ill definitely return(Ive got my eye on their Thai Tea to try next), and you should certainly check it out too :)

My husband found this little Gem!!!! Every kind of donut is delicious and overstuffed when filled! We have tried them all!! We have had to add to our exercises to account for the donut shop trips at least twice a week! Can’t find donuts like these anywhere else! Highly recommend. Well worth the trip!

I know you’ve driven past a million times without stopping in because the building looks condemned....that’s a mistake!This doughnut shop came recommended to me as “the best doughnut shop in town” by a coworker I trust. I decided to give it a shot and I’m so glad I did. The shop is beautiful and SO CLEAN on the inside. The doughnuts are amazing!! Now I’m wondering what other kind of places I’m missing out on from judging books by their cover. 10/10 recommend.

We live right around the corner from DJs and have been going there often for the past year. Whenever our family visits we bring them there for the ham and cheese pretzel roles, they are a big hit. Honestly, they make best fresh pretzels I’ve ever eaten. The donuts are delicious, oversized and light. The owner is always friendly and the shop is clean. I’m so glad they’ve joined the neighborhood.

OMG....I kept seeing this place prior to opening. Today I drove by and saw a Grand Opening sign on the building. Of course I had to check it out. There are so many varieties of donuts. I couldn’t be any happier knowing there is a donut shop on the Northside of Ann Arbor! I bought a lemon/raspberry filled donut and 2 cinnamon rolls. They were amazing! I met Ms. Kim. She used to own the Dexter Bakery and now has a bakery in Ann Arbor. She is so kind and wonderful! So glad there is a close by donut shop now. I will be in trouble now and probably gain more weight. Donuts are absolutely delicious! Super light and fluffy. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. The bakery is right around the corner from us. Super dangerous for us to have such tasty donuts so close by. Everything weve had has been delicious, the blueberry donuts and cinnamon roles are my favorite.

Their doughnuts are absolutely fantastic and well worth stopping in for them alone. The bagels are okay, but not great, as the texture is closer to regular bread than to what Id expect from bagels.

It is a very convenient location for me, and they open very early, so before work is an option. The cake donuts are great, but more than once Ive had their yeast donuts. Raw in spots. Also same with walnut rolls.They should eat one before putting on shelf.Nice people working there. Please stay, but strive to improve.
