Extremely friendly and helpful. Was looking all over town for some of the legendary 1776 bourbon and the friendly man at the counter not only explained the supply chain problems but took the time to find me some palatable alternatives based on the flavor profile I wanted. Who the heck does that any more, least of all a college town liquor/beer shop? I was actually a bit taken aback (in a good way). Much appreciated! I went with Not My Fathers Bourbon this time and will be back again! Cheers.

Went here once today and never again. Went in for $4 cough drops (already overpriced) and later saw that my card was charged for almost $6 for a tiny pack. The cashier swipes your card for you and lies to your face about the price of the item and has the audacity to charge themselves a tip without telling you. They of course dont provide receipts either. Absolutely terrible, if I could give no stars I would.

Thieves, they will tell you a price of something then over charge you, bought a breeze pro cashier told me it was 20 plus change. Checked my statement later and was charged 27.63. Yall should be shut down.

Came in to buy cigarettes, after several checkpoints I realized that they were sitting on my ancestral land from 2000 years ago. Currently getting the British empire and the newly formed u.n. to step in and give me back my liquor store. Im glad my claim to this store is valid with no physical proof .

Location is great, however prices are way inflated when it comes to booze. Man at the cashier was polite and helpful. Other than the extra $$ worth stopping in after leaving the bar.

The owners responses are what everyone should be reading. Just listen to how he conducts himself, and treats his consumers! Its just utterly disgusting how he responds to the people who have paid money to keep his business going. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you! The reviews that give this place more than one star have got to be the owner or people he knows. Why else would these reviews be so descriptive of the owner? The owner is always complaining about the high rent in Ann Arbor. It sounds like he needs to relocate if he cant afford the rent. But clearly he is making money as he also owns State Street Liquor, and he conducts himself poorly when responding to that stores reviews as well. He should be ashamed of his poor customer service. I will never shop at either store again.

$28 for a 30 of PBR. Way to expensive, staff wasn’t particularly friendly but disinterested.There’s a big difference between being cheap and being smart with money. Go to Walgreens and get the same rack for $16. I understand college liquor stores are expensive but theirs are simply ridiculous. They don’t label beer prices either which is a shady business practice at best; you won’t know what you’re spending until you get up to the counter

Terrible pricing. They are so far above state minimum its not even funny. I asked the owner him why he was charging almost double state min and he replied this is Ann Arbor walked out, turned left and went to 7/11 less then a block away and spent my money.

Went last night on a beer run, man behind the counter was rude to everyone in there, including myself. Found it very odd that 3 patrons cards declined and both mine and my friends did as well so I was forced to use credit. Talked condescending to me as I was trying to figure things out. Told a patron to get out because their card declined and accused them of stealing it.

This place Rob you asked for a pint they gave me a half pint and its the price of a 5th and when I asked after he ran my card to give me a pint he said no refund. Which Michigan law is they can refund as long as you didnt leave the store with it BBB will be hearing from me.

The prices are good, I also reccomend Champions Liquor because the owner is a very nice man who is harassed relentlessly by vacuous morons who think he is a bigot just because he is Jewish, and subsequently against the constant attempts by Isreals surrounding countries to exterminate his entire home country.

If I could give this place no stars I would. They price gouge to poverty stricken college students. They charge 4x as much for common products. I have contacted the local news about their business practices and there will be an investigation. Hopefully they lose their license.

This is not the lowest prices in town. This is price gouging. The beer prices are unmarked. Its a $5 increase in price for cold beer. 7/11 down the block was $10 cheaper for my purchase, 50% the price at Champions.
