Received my PCR test result nearly 40 hours after taking it.The person who monitored the test (Eric?) was really kind and courteous throughout the entire process. After the test, he mentioned that the test might take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours. For those who can wait this long, Id say this is a decent time frame. But for those who need the PCR test to fly out overseas like me, this might be a little stress inducing.If you are unsure whether to take the PCR test for travel purposes, Id say take the test here and have like a same-day backup plan as well.

Friendly-enough staff, nothing unexpected. However have attempted to get photos here several times, and color/contrast is always *very* off. Have good images, but suddenly the shadows are so dark you cant see a face, etc... About 1/2 of the prints are unusable even as snapshots... Disappointed with the quality control...

Five days for COVID test results?? Dont waste your time and go across the street at CVS. Results come out in one, maximum 2 days

I switched to this Walgreens about 3 years ago after moving to Annandale 4 years ago. I had some difficulty with certain authorizations due to insurance changes, but the staff was always very helpful, kind, accommodating, and willing to go the extra mile to help me. Two techs in particular were very memorable over this time for their dedication, consistency, and familiarity with my Rx, coupon codes, etc. However, in the past few months, customer service has apparently gone to the bottom of the list of priorities. I experienced a dismissive and rude phone call, after which I filed a formal complaint online. Management was to contact me within 48 hours regarding my complaint. I received a voicemail several days later from the manager saying they were calling to address my concerns with insurance issues, or the like. My complaint was not about their extremely poor handling of my insurance (as evidenced by my doctors repeated faxes of necessary information), but of the extremely rude and dismissive language during my call. It seems, as others have pointed out, that Im not the only person to experience problems with the new management, who also isnt willing to take responsibility and for their actions and/or hurtful words (and likely shouldnt be working with pharmaceuticals or the sensitive nature of pharmacy clientele, in my currently not-so-humble opinion).

Employees were pretty rude. Not that they appear to be the type that care, but Id get my service elsewhere.

Clean and big walgreens, but staff isnt very friendly and leaves price tags that has expired days ago on products.

I was able to pick up my prescription quickly. No lines and friendly professional staff.

Horrible pharmacist, very childish and a liar. Accused me of saying something I didn’t. I am getting a lawyer and suing for deformation of character and slandering.

If I could give zero stars that would be better. I started going here about two months ago when I switched over from CVS and it was a horrible decision. The staff is extremely rude and not helpful at all. I’ve seen managers talk about other customers to each other and the workers. I once saw a man smoking a cigarette while he was working. He was in the back in a room and I saw him through the window of the door. There used to be a very nice girl that started working here but I haven’t seen her in a while. She used to help me so much. Other than her I am dissatisfied with the management and employees.

Very clean store, the pharmacist (Jahan) helping me was super professional and kind, very efficient. Much more organized than the CVS across the street. Highly recommend.

I have yet to come here and be able to get my prescriptions, which have already been called in and filled, in a timely manner. It’s very frustrating and my insurance plan only allows me to get prescriptions filled here or Rite Aid.

My go to for picking up prescriptions, mostly because they were open 24 hours.However, their new store hours are quite inconvenient, considering they close at 6:00pm on a Saturday.Regardless, the store is always clean and organized, and both the retail and pharmacy employees are helpful and friendly.

I came in for a flu shot and they forgot about me for an hour in an empty store. Only knew something was up because a whole family got in before me. I literally was sitting in front of them for an hour.

Best pharmacy Ive been to in Fairfax. Very speedy and courteous.

The store is very clean and organized. I havent had any experiences with the pharmacy staff but the regular staff is very nice and helpful.

This location is permanently out of stock for my medications. 9/10 times they don’t have a monthly supply. They also always charge me a different copay, even though I’ve had the same insurance policy. I’ve used Walgreens for many years, but this location is just bad.

The sales associate, Liz, was phenomenally polite and professional and reprinted my order promptly as the printing of the original order was poor. Result ..... beautiful cards.

Horrible place to buy medicine. The pharmacist was not helpful and on the contrary very impolite. I then went to CVS, which is across the street and had very different and positive experience. The pharmacist came out and walked with me to find the medicine I wanted. All staff at CVS are very professional. Unfortunately, Walgreens is closer to where I live, but I dont recommend anyone buying medicines from them. I highly recommend going to CVS for all your medicine and other needs.

I dont think Ive ever had such a bad experience...Im not one to complain about the past but I feel like this is something that needs to be voiced.I got to the pharmacy around 6 and was the only one in the store. After giving the pharmacy my percreption they told me they would call my cell in 30 mins...they didnt...I eventually went to the pharmacy after 50 mins...they realized them mistyped all my information on their computer. After my info was fixed my perscription was waiting for me but as I was about to insert my credit card to pay they realized they filled the wrong perscription........WHAT?!? This is your job to ensure that I dont accidentally get the wrong prescription! I dont think this should be acceptable even if it was an accident..It then took the another 30 mins to fix...but then they couldnt get me the correct prices that I had already researched were the wegdman prices for my perscription.I ended up leaving without anything because the technician/pharmacist couldnt speak/understand English and I was already so tired of waiting... a 2.5 hour wait for such a simple task. I didnt realize they think my time is so invaluable...Needless to say I will not be coming back...

They dont know how to accept coupons. I am a couponer, and if you are too, you may want to avoid this store. They keep telling me that I can only use one couple per transaction. Period. For example, they told me that I could only use one mouthwash coupon in a transaction where I was buying three mouthwashes and had a coupon for each one. They are reading the coupons wrong. Management here is not following what the rest of the stores are doing.Even worse, they wont SHOW me store policy. They say their written policy is only for their associates. This is bad policy.
