Orester you are awesome! I appreciate your patience, kindness and service advice. Thanks for always taking care of my tire issues when I drop in. You are a true GEM and your kindness is appreciated especially during these trying times. Its always something in life and your kindness made things a little better. I wish you the bestπ
Very quick and efficient. I was on a tight deadline to make an appointment at noon and they were able to get my tire fixed and on my way to my appointment on time. Thanks Tires Plus ππ
They were very helpful and price matched for me. The service took the time they forecast and they communicated promptly.I am very satisfied.
I got 3 tires replaced on Saturday, and two days later, one of them tore to shreds on the highway. The assistant manager Orester was compassionate, apologetic, and already had ordered me a replacement tire by the time I had arrived. It is because of Orester that I am not giving this dangerous mishap of an experience a 1 star. May more places have the customer service that Orester has to offer his customers.
Had appointment for 1pm today - came in and there was a long line almost to the door - I asked if I had to stand in line even though I had an appointment- manager said yes - I asked whatβs the point of an appointment if you have to stand in line ? Other folks could just walk in off the street and get in line. He then tried to argue and use an analogy of the doctors office! Thatβs a false analogy and bickering with the customer is also not a good idea- this is Northern Virginia - because other people put up w bad service it continues to get worse - I wonβt contribute to it.I am amending this review from 1 to 3 stars because a manager called me back and apologized and offered me 10 percent off my purchaseβ¦β¦ I had already made other plans
This is our 3rd time using this location over the past few years. We recently had 4 tires replaced. Tires were ordered in advance as the size was not in the usual inventory. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Significant savings from prices quoted at other businesses.
I bought the lifetime wheel alignment here because it seemed like a great value. I couldnt have been more wrong. After the first time a brought my car here, I notice a ding in one of the doors was not there when I dropped it off. I figured accidents happen and Steve got me a paint kit to help minimize the damage. HOWEVER, after we took the same car there on Monday, one of the mechanics let us know that our front brakes needed to be replace. Thanks. So today I start to take off the front driver side wheel and, not one, but TWO of the lug nut studs snapped off. As far as I know this only happens when the lug nuts have been over torqued. After I get this issue resolved, Ill never bring another car here again.
I visited Tires Plus today around 12:30 P M to get the rear Brake pad along with Brake fluid top up. Technician Jorge was very good and got everything done in less than 3 hours. This was without any prior appointment. Everything seems reasonably priced in this store. I rate Only 4π, coz they dont have any beverages in their store π. Hope they get one installed when I visit for my next service.
I visited Tires Plus in need of getting my flat tire replaced. Deep was more than helpful and competent. His recommendations were accurate and genuine. The staff helped me fix up my tire and Deep went out of his way to deal with the insurance company to process the claim.Thank you, for all your Help Deep.I will definitely come back and would recommend them to anybody.
This place has gone down hill over the years. Set an appt, arrived on time, rep told me it will be ready in an hour. I walked around Annandale for an hour. Came back only to see my car wasnt even touched!Whats the point of setting an appt and telling the customer 1hr after they hand you the keys if you arent going to do the work? They asked if I would like to reschedule. Like I would ever come back here again after you wasted an hour of my time. Let alone not even having the common courtesy of calling the customer to tell them.
I originally posted this at 2 stars. They tried to sell me repairs I didnt need (complete brake job, shocks, brake fluid change, new belt, and, of course, tires), and at close to dealer pricing. The regional manager called me and told me she discussed the issue with the service manager and mechanics. She told me that I should have been told that only a few of those items were required and the others were recommended. It does appear she made some corrective actions. However, she told me that the pricing is established at the corporate level, and she would give them feedback on the pricing. I was able to buy the same quality brake rotors, and pads and have them installed for $550 at my gas station mechanic instead of the $850 they wanted to charge me. When I need tires I will probably check with them and see if I can get competitive pricing. But buyer beware if you want any other services there.
Always great service and no pressure to buy additional services. They recommendations is usually spot on.
Came in for tire replacement, balance, and alignment. Matthew at the front desk was really friendly and transparent, and the team was extremely efficient! And the prices are unbeatable. I would highly recommend Tires Plus and I will only be coming here for all future tire needs.
Been here multiple times. Theyve always managed to find something wrong with my tires to upcharge me, which might be true but becomes questionable the 3rd time on the exact same tire. This time was the worst. They showed me my tires had issues, and I was able to identify the problem alongside them. The issue arose when they put the tire back on. I made the short half mile trip back to my home, and the tire popped and went flat. Their lack of care when it came to vehicles they thought theyd get to hold onto is worrying. If I had to drive anywhere else I would have had to get my car towed and spent an exuberant fee due to Tires Plus negligence. The only reason it isnt one star is because I have had good experiences here, but this was my last straw. This situation put me in danger, and I cant risk that with them again.
Good service, always return for service.
Went to get new tires. Rude employees. Tried to back my car off the lift while leaving the triangular tire-stops behind my brand new tires. If I hadnβt been standing at the bay yelling, who knows what would have happened. Then I got signed up for the road-hazard insurance. When I needed to use it? I was charged for a new tire, and they left the old one on, plugged!! Keep looking.
Service was good as usual !!!
I found this place out of necessity after my tire blew on 495. I was kind of shaken up and driving on a questionable spare tire... I got turned away from another shop where they were too busy to even talk to me. Luckily Tires Plus was just across the street & they helped me out. They ordered me a new tire and had it ready by the next day. Overall, I am glad I found a place that was so helpful and friendly. Thanks for the great service!
This is perhaps one of the most dishonest shops in the area. If you are looking to simply repair a tire, I suggest that you donβt go there as the front desk rep will only want to sell you a new tire (or tires), not help you repair. Hereβs my experience and you be the judge for yourself.A tiny nail punctured a brand new run-flat tire I have. I really mean BRAND NEW tire. So, I stopped by this shop to have it repaired. The front desk guy asked that he visually inspects the issue. And in 2 min, he officially proclaimed that these run-flat tires arenβt repairable once you drive on them with a nail and low air βdue to the way their designed.β The solution: thinking that Iβm an idiot, he advised me that I simply buy a new tire which will cost me around $300 including labor. So, I refused of course. I then headed to another gas station that has a repair shop. They repaired the issue in no time for only $20. Itβs been over a week and the tire still operating just fine. So, do not go to this shop unless you want to get ripped off.
Made an appointment 24 hrs in advance for 12 pm. I arrived 11:45 am and was told it would be several hours till they could get it in the bay. Now they suggest making an appointment but they cant keep an appointment. The manager is incompetent and has no customer service skills whatsoever. He doesnt care enough to help his team turn cars out and satisfy paying customers. He stands at the counter helpless. Stay away no matter how cheap the tires are. This is the normal here as this happened to my wife too. Dont waste your time calling customer service either. I spoke to a woman about the prior experience and she said she was very sorry for your bad experience and someone would contact me ASAP....nobody ever contacted me ever. Now I will make it so difficult to do the job and will scrutinize the work. I will never purchase anything from Tires Plus again!!!!
Excellent service! Very friendly and helpful! I fully recommend Tires Plus! Ive gotten my tires, my battery my alignments and soon Ill be getting my brakes done there. You can really trust there work!
Not sure what all these bad reviews are about. I had an appointment today for 10am to replace all four tires. As soon as I walked in, a gentleman came in from the service bay to greet me politely. I told him I had an appointment, and he found it right away. I gave him my key, signed the work order, and sat down to wait. The same man came back in 20 minutes later to let me know that the job was finished and I was all set. I paid, and I left. I got all four tires, Firestone, installed for just under $400. I will be returning in the future the next time I need tires.
Very bad experience. They are lazy & rude. My mistake. Never ever going back to this place. Total waste of money & time.
Good service! the mechanic Jesse is very polite, professional and kind, in the front desk Edwin also a nice staff, FIVE STARS...
Great service
They cancelled my appointment without telling me. I was told that they would contact me if they couldnt see me, but they did not. I wont be returning. If you do come here, call to confirm your appointment before arriving.
If I could give zero stars, I could. DO NOT FOR ANY REASON GO TO THIS SHOP. Dont let them touch your car at all. I literally JUST picked my vehicle up from here after having to bring it in twice for starter issues- the second time around they had to replace the brand new starter they supposedly put in because they screwed something up. It definitely starts but there are more problems with my vehicle now than the were before we took it to them. I am absolutely irate. I am calling their corporate office.
Got an appointment, went on time and they told me to wait one or one hour an half for regular oil change. If the shop was busy at the time, I would have understand. They had one car in the whole garage and no other customer. Sorry for their business but I rather go elsewhere.
Theyve got the best price for tires, great service and good timing as well. Changed all four tires, first two front and later two rear ones. Definitely recommend for tires!
Avoid like the plague. Unprofessional. Had an appointment, cancelled my Saturday plans and even got there 15 mins early to be told that I will have to reschedule for the next week. Sad from a business point of view.
So rude guy by the reception, zero customer service. Donβt try to see this rude and angry face ever.
I was really shocked, when arrive at the Annandale Tire Plus, andthe shop forman mentioned, you swat bars on the front of thevehicle does not have to be replaced, and the dealership was incorrectby annotating it on your invoice receipt. Thefore they had shave mean extra $100s I did not have to pay. They are very knowledge in all ofthere work, and also the trades. I have found no faults in there work at all.Trust me, they will not repair anything on a vehicle, unless the teammembers have phsycially spoken to the individual or the owner of itsvehicle.
Have been getting my oil changed, new tires, and other services done here for a decade. The price is lower then many other places. And a big plus, my car is ready when they say it will be.
Terrible to say the very least. Was attended in an excellent manner, however, it would only get worse from there. The technician (dare I call him that) struggle tremendously to get ONE tired mounted and rotated and put on my car. Not to mention, he left the car in gear on an incline holding the 3,000 pound car solely on the transmission. No ebrake was applied. The tire lube was not cleaned and made the job look half done. It took an hour and a half. Last but certainly not least. Scratched my drivers side door. Orange Fire Pearl paint jobs ARE NOT cheap. Id say be very careful with this shop. Proved to me they cannot be trusted.
Fast on time. Quality service. Reasonable prices.
Great service... guy at front desk was very nice. Which was refreshing bcuz after jus relocating here from Georgia i was beginning to think that everyone here was rude as hell... but these guys were the light of my day and they fixed my car...πππ
Sales advisors very courteous and knowledge.
In the beginning they were amazing. I came to them because a Merchants Tire place wanted to charge me 600+ dollars for tires and other services they were pressuring me into thinking I needed. They gave me 4 new tires for half what the other place wanted and I continued to come to this Tires Plus for work my car needed. And they have been nothing but inconsistent to that first wonderful time. I make appointments online for the convenience and they are supposed to email or call to confirm, after my first appointment they stopped confirming them. Which not only is unprofessional, its nerve wracking because if I walk in unconfirmed I could be waiting all day for a 20 minute fix because 10 other people also expected to come in at noon to have something done. And this unconformation has caused real problems. One time I went in to have an engine light checked (everything was fine) they replaced my battery too, and the mechanic (cant remember who) said my car wouldnt pass inspection because it was missing a corner due to a fender bender I had months prior, and that my sway bar was loose and that needed to be replaced before inspection too. And he told me if I found a compatible bumper he would install it. I thought great hell fix it and everything will be fine. I spend 80 dollars on a bumper make an appointment (they fail to confirm said appointment) I show up with my bumper that I had to have my dad drive over because it wouldnt fit in my car and they tell me they dont do ANY body work. If they saw the appointment in their system and read my comment in the additional comments box why didnt they call me to say sorry idk who told you that but they were wrong to do so we dont do blah and not waste my time, their time and my dads time? Completely unprofessional. And the same thing happened again today! My headlight was out my dad went and bought headlights with me (father daughter car stuff) and intended on putting them in himself, looked under the hood of my car ( a hybrid) and went thats different, not sure if ill be able to do this so I said ill go to Tires Plus they should be able to put them in. I make the appointment online and put in the comments box that I have the bulbs they just need to be put in there. And they do for the first time in a while actually email confirm my appointment. When I get there they refused to use my bulbs because of liability and warranty and said ill have to return them to the store. You actually confirmed my appointment for once and dont have the decency to call and say he we dont use outside parts our price is blank for this to be done do you still want to come in? I even opened a credit account with them to be able to afford the repairs I needed to get my car fixed before inspection because I work an hour from home and need transportation. I am going to close that account and never come back unless its something simple they cant mess up like and oil change. But they might screw that up too. Also their wait times are terrible. The lights today took over and hour and they were fully staffed.
Good mechanics and good service advisors. No problems. All expectations met.
Very nice and professional staff. Been going here for 12 years and never a problem.
Horrible. They called me saying my inspection is about to expire and I told them go ahead and do my inspection. They removed sticker first and then told me that I need to replace ALL of my tires or else they wont approve my inspection. I had my tires replaced 9 months ago from this place! Tires dont go bad after 9 months. I told them no and they put a pink REJECTION sticker on my window and refused to do anything unless I agreed to replacing all of my tires.
They scratched my rims badly. Terrible. They will repair the scratches. If they cant then they need to buy me new ones for damaging my property.... They also stole my OEM metal tire caps and gave me old plastic ones... unprofessional business.
Joe and David and the tire techs are completely professional: friendly, courteous, and they do what they say they will do. No monkey business, just great service. They care.
Always good advice. Use coupons
Great no nonsense tire shop. They get you in and out quickly.
BEWARE OF Store manage Steve taking SHORT CUTS AND performing UNAPPROVED, NONCOMPLIANT REPAIRS to your vehicle without your knowledge or consent. My first experience with Tires Plus was great, bought new tires, everything was great, the following day my starter went out and I had the car towed 14 miles to get here because I was happy with the service Orester provided and confident with the repairs (for as little as I know about cars) However, today I am completely ALARMED and will not be taking my car back. I stopped in last night and made an appointment to drop my car early. I specified that i wanted an oil change and that I was concerned about a possible problem with the oil plug so i wanted that checked as well. I also asked for the free tire rotation that went with the tires. I also noted that i was getting ready to sell my car to a friend and would like for the mechanic to look over the car and let me know if there was anything else that needed to be done that a new buyer should be wary of because as a friend i would do my due dilligence to make sure the car was in peak condition. The guy who took my order advised all that would be no problem and assured me that a rep would be calling me in the morning before any work was done. I did not receive a copy of the order at the time of making the appointment, but was not concerned because i expected to hear from the mechanic in the morning to finalize the repair order after discussing my concerns with the mechanic and confirming the work required. Long story short, i got no call. I got a cheap oil change, because i had not specified high mileage blend (which is what I wanted, but was nevet prompted to specify the type of oil i wanted). The incomplete job order the night before guy had put into the computer only specified oil change and tire rotation....nothing else. So the morning mechanic did just the bare minimum without calling me to confirm the order. This irked me significantly, but it is not the reason I wont be back. In sorting out my displeasure with the poor communication and minimal service provided, the head mechanic Steve Store (the store manager and the guy in charge of poor Orester, who was left sweeping up the popcorn after this circus).... this store manager boldly advised that he had done me a favor by making unauthorized/unrequested and completely noncompliant repairs in addition to the minimal work done to my car. He had taken it upon himself to identify a jerry rig job on my air filter (evidently made by a previous unqualified back yard mechanic of equally poor work ethic) and without bringing it to my attention, proceeded to repair the damage by adding his own improved jerry rigging that involved a copper pipe. These non-standard (unethical, and ILLEGAL) repairs were made without consulting me and, had I not questioned the note regarding previous damage, I would have never found out about the copper pipe rigging. This is exactly why people feel they need to go to the dealer and pay double for service... If steve wants to tinker out of compliance of automotive standards, he needs to go home and tinker on his own jalopy and hire qualified professional technicians trained in servicing modern cars to work n client cars. Let Orester focus on managing service communications with clients. AND if the intake tech promises a pre-work call, then that should be noted in the task order and followed through by Orester before pulling the car into the garage. Steves excuse for making unauthorized repairs to my vehicle without first consulting me was that he was so busy with so many customers, and under staffed (no doubt hes having trouble keeping conscientious help employed), that they dont have time to communicate with owners. So heres my solution. I paid for the services that were requested and performed, and I advised him that I would not be back due to the non-approve back yard jerry rigging boldly done to my car without my consent. If you value your car, DONT LEAVE IT HERE while this head mechanic is in charge of business.
This shop is a terrible place that I will never come again. The shop manager is arrogant, and would not hear customers issue. They made a huge mistake that when I visited there to replace a flat tire. After the tire was replaced, my car gererated big noise. I brought the car to other auto repair shop. When they investigated what the isssue might be, they found 4 nuts on the replaced tire were not tightly screwed. Those 4 nuts were unscrewed by hand, which means only one nut held the replaced tire while I drove, and as a result, it was shaky and made a lot of noise. After the auto repair shop fixed the nuts by tightly screwing by airgun, the car got back to the normal state. When I came there to report a complaint of what had happened, the store manager said that it might be that someone tried to steal the replaced tire. No, it cant be. It is the cheapest one, that no one wants to put time and risk to steal it.The store manager just showed me their mechanic paper signed by themselves but not by me, and said because they signed the paper, there is no issue at all. That is the craziest idea that I have ever heard. The mechanic who worked the tire replacing didnt apolozy at first, but when I kept saying what had hapened, he gruntly said sorry with no sign of being really sorry. This shop is the worst shop and put me at huge risk.
Did a nice job repairing my tire, but scratched the rim slightly. If your rims dont have covers, be sure to talk to them about not scratching your rims. Take a picture first.
I got alignment done at Tires Plus. Good customer service and no issues with alignment.
Orestes Banagas is a very rude unprofessional tire sales manager.Save your selves some time and just go to community car care right down the street. From the quoted hour+ time frame for two tires to be mounted I made a appt that min and was in and out under 18 mins here.
So far they are very good and honest
Kindly great service and fast .
Very fast service and helpful staff.
Rude and unfriendly staff. Turned me off even before I went inside to get an estimate. Wont be giving them any business.
They are friendly, but pricey.
Did not honor the 1 hr. Garuntee. On tire installation. Claimed I did not have an appointment in the computer even though I called and made one earlier in the day. Skip em.
I was the only customer. There was one guy working in the garage, one guy behind the desk on a Tuesday night. I went here because Pep Boys wasnt offering their usual coupon. I got a 30 minute oil change for around $25 in 50 minutes.
Waited 2.5 hours for ONE tire change, with one car in front of me
Almost 3 hours to install 4 tires.
These guys are great
Great
U have plenty of choice here.
The worst experienceThe technician guys cant adjust the caster {wheel alignment)in 2015 Camry and lied to me saying its the manufacturer recommendation, I really feel sorry for buying lifetime warranty from them.
Good
Uhmm its okay
Excellent atention
When the appointment is made by phone and with time there is no delay, but if you leave an emergency to change the tires if it takes between an hour and a half to two hours, the attention at the counter is very good, they speak Spanish and English, to speak Spanish is a very good thing, because Mr. is very kind and looking for the best prices, I liked the attention.Good place in Annandale
Friendly staff
Its bad a lot of time waiting
