At first my friends and I started coming here for dessert after eating in one of the nearby Asian restaurants. It didnt take us long to figure out that their ice cream is good any time, after any kind or food. I usually get the Vietnamese Coffee ice cream, but today I got the Chocolate Salted Caramel Almond, with almond topping. Always lots of interesting, unusual flavors.
I have been coming here for years and look forward to it every time. Theres no comparison of watching the ribbon of snow cone being shaved into your cup. Always very pretty and tasty
We went for a few scoops. The coconut ash was great. Strong coconut flavor, but not too strong. The fruity pebbles was rich. So rich, my 4 y/o threw in the towel after half a scoop. Which meant more for me! It tasted like the milk from a bowl of fruity pebbles
Ice cream tastes good but expensive, we paid $15 for one ice cream with one scoop and another with two scoops... Everything in Chelos tastes artificial from the coconut milk to all the jellies. I would go to Bamboo down the street if I crave a Chelos.
Yum!! And the guy was so nice and brought our ice cream to us from behind the counter.
Slow is an understatement. Each employee seemed to have 1 job and would not help the others. Flavors are great but don’t be in a hurry.
The quality of the ice cream after buying out Munch has dramatically dropped. I was told there was inconsistency between who makes the ice cream that day, however this inconsistency did not exist pre COVID. I did not even have any cinnamkn toast crunch inside my cinnamon toast crunch ice cream, which was one of the best things about that flavor.Overall, the ice cream is a depressing waste of money, and I recommend going elsewhere.
I love their milk teas 🧋
The snocream is an experience! The taro flavor was delightful.
SnoCream Co. has a really cute vendor counter inside of the block. They serve snow cream, soft serve ice cream, and bubble tea. The only thing I, as a vegan, can consume here is their fresh green bubble teas. And while the flavour of the bubble teas was great (I tried their Lychee and their Peach Green tea flavours), the bubbles themselves were not. They were all stuck together in large groups and some of them were a bit hard, and they wouldnt come up the bubble tea straw. Ive tried bubble tea from many places, and this has never been an issue for me. Im not sure what they are doing differently from other bubble tea places, but the bubbles should not be stuck together. The fact that my straw kept getting stopped up and large amounts of bubbles were coming out at one time was quite annoying. Anywho, since bubble tea was the only item on their menu that I could try, and the only thing I could rate them on, even though the flavour of the bubble tea was good, they get three stars because they dont serve anything else that is vegan-friendly, but also because the bubbles in the only thing that I could consume were close to inedible because they wouldnt come up the straw. Had the bubbles been loose and not stuck together, they would have gotten a four or four point five star rating
Amazing, unique deserts! Fantastic on hot summer days
Hey lets go get SnoCream out of a vintage school bus in the back of a Kmart parking lot! ~ Me, probably at any point Im ever near Annandale.Service ranges from super fast to slow depending on how busy it is and how complicated your order is (i.e. getting multiple flavors). But honestly SnoCream is such a great unique alternative for ice cream, the base of Snow Cream itself isnt very caloric so you can make it as healthy or as indulgent as you want based off of the toppings you choose. My top favorite flavors are the Thai tea, Taro, & Vanilla Chai Latte. Personally I dont find the snow to be that sweet which I love because it allows the flavors of the snow cream itself to be very rich. The texture is wild and its a great place to bring friend to silently say hey look how hip and updated on the trends I am!!Overall snocream a pretty solid place, and I love that you can get an extra topping just by checking in.
We came here because of the amazing reviews. We ordered two snocream flavors (mango and cookies and cream with different toppings) and a lychee drink, and it was all just nasty, honestly. I have never had ice cream (or whatever it was) that tasted this awful, ever. We took a few bites and threw the rest away. It tasted like flavored ice; actually, I have no idea what it tasted like, such an absurd taste and texture. I do not recommend this type of ice cream if you are used to standard American ice cream. And the lychee drink tasted like a watered down version of what we are used to. Everything went to waste.
Really good place for your sweet 🧁.
The best. All the options and flavors are delicious.
Delicious! Always a great variety of rotating flavors - including the unusual ones like Pandam and Coconut Ash, but also more traditional american ones like Cookies n Cream and Dark Chocolate. Generous servings and I love that 2 toppings and a drizzle are included so you can get all the tastes and textures your heart desires... Perfect ending after getting dumplings and dandan noodles next door. My only complaint is there are too many options and now I need to come back for the boba, soft serve and mochi donuts (what??) Yes. So happy.
Today I had an interesting experience. My husband Bob ordered a lychee boba and he meant the milk tea. We simply asked for a replacement and I even gave tip Im not concerned about the money. Who ever the manager on duty was was not only rude, but refused replace it... I don’t recommend coming here at least maybe while that manager is on duty. I came on a Saturday night. I have been a manager for years and that was a terrible experience. The lady there also tried giving me a fake number as the big boss....
SnoCream Company is one of the food vendors inside The Block. They serve snocream (shaved ice + ice cream), bubble teas, chelos, coffee and espresso, and soft serve. For ice cream, they featured the following flavors: ube, dark chocolate, raspberry lychee rose, blueberry earl grey, cinnamon toast crunch, cookie butter, oreo matcha, sweet cream, chocolate salted caramel almond, fruity pebbles, mango sticky rice, smores, durian, ash coconut, pandan mochi, and vietnamese coffee. For soft serve, they featured the following flavors: earl grey, vanilla, and swirl.Justin enjoyed Cookie Butter Ice Cream with Caramel and Oreo. Bryan enjoyed a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I enjoyed a swirl of earl grey and vanilla soft serve on an ash coconut cone. The soft serve was a bit melted. The flavors of the soft serve were light. I liked the freshness of the cone. There was a hole at the bottom of the cone so the soft serve was dripping out and making a mess. Im so glad I didnt eat this in the car.
TASTY! The quality of their 冰沙 was very high. Would recommend any of their specialities, definitely pair a drink with a bingsu for a fun dessert date!
Better than the Hovermales and Sweet Frog.
Its not traditional ice cream so dont go there expecting that. However if you keep your mind open and are willing to try new things youll be very happy. My kids love the ice cream and are always asking to go again.
Amazing style of dessert with a great variety of toppings and drizzles. Get here as early as you can as this place gets hopping on the weekends. SnoCream is the perfect dessert after some amazing food at The Block.
Their donuts were very unusual but still delicious but what really makes me want to go back is their bubble tea. I had a rose milk tea, and usually rose flavored anything taste odd but this was something else. I’m a bubble tea fanatic so I know my bubble tea and this was the best bubble tea I’ve ever had.
Delicious desserts included a modern take on bingsoo plus ice cream and teas.
The original Chelo is delish.. And it’s vegan. 🙌🏽
Salted Caramel Chocolate Almond 😋
I had their Nutella frappe, this was my first time at SnoCream so I didnt really know what to expect. The reason for it being 3 stars is simply due to the fact that I had waited over 20 minutes just to get their frappe. The biggest issue to me, was that even after all of the time consumed to craft the drink, they had forgotten the nutella. It was after 10, and I had simply ran out of patience to bring this up. Hopefully my next visit will have a better outcome.
SnoCream is known for their snow ice. In fact, its in their name (clearly), but Im giving them four stars for their bubble tea. Yes, bubble tea. Its good. Its really good.Everyone would expect great bubble tea to come out of Annandale, but it is a little different from other bubble teas:1) It comes in a very wide cup. It wont fit in your car cup holder, but you will get more bubble tea because of the design. #winning2) Their standard milk tea is really good.3) Their bubbles are more flavorful than other bubbles as if theres a hint of honey in them.If you go to The Block and need a drink, get the milk tea bubble milk. You wont regret it!
This was definitely a fun little experience, the flavors were quiet unique and gave you a wide selection! Its obvious crowded feeling on the bus, but the experience is pretty neat at night with the lighting and the music is very upbeat. Definitely a fun place for the kids and family!
They have some unique dessert offerings worth trying. Prices are about right for the area. Wait times can be a little long when theres lots of people, but thats not a knock.
This place has recently expanded, and has a great selections of treats! I highly recommend the bubble tea, of which they have many varieties, and the cotton candy ice cream.
The sketchiest location (parking lot behind the Kmart). The illuminating neon blue bus makes approaching this shoppe easier. Gigantic portion for one, so I would definitely bring a +1 to share. Otherwise youre going to have a sugar rush for a couple of days.
Delicious creamy and/or sweet shaved ice. The real deal of shaved ice and it also has bubble tea. Both come with a great choice of toppings, and the pandan runs out often, so grab it when you can.Cute bus setup and a little hard to find the first time. Did to the side parking lot of Kmart and you will see the bus.
Love this place. Reminds me a lot of my time in Taiwan. I loved the shaved ice cream and the topping choices are great.
Yum sums this place up! Highly recommend it for dessert! The atmosphere is trendy and fun. Staff is helpful if its your first time.
Great service. You get your moneys worth with unique flavors, toppings, and a large serving. I recommend it if youre looking for something different from ice cream and frozen yogurt.
They have really cool flavors of ice cream, and the portion to price is really good. The small size is huge and its only $4
Honestly a little too hyped. But I always come here when Im in the area visiting.Although next time ill just go to place next to it. They had much more business and had real ice cream in interesting flavors.
Located in a very interesting food quart! Their bubble tea size is pretty large, flavor and topping-wise it’s fairly ordinary. You’ll find some fun flavors for the shaved ice—We got black sesame and milk tea flavors. However, the ice isn’t as finely shaved as that at Siroo Juk Story and Tea cafe (they have the best shaved ice Ever). Definitely recommend checking the whole food quart out.
Man, this place was tasty! I’m a big desserts guy, and especially ice cream, and this place was excellent. The flavors are unique; I had the pandan with Mochi and have been dreaming of it ever since. Will be coming back many times.
The snocream has a different texture from regular ice cream but the taste is amazing. There are a bunch of extra toppings that you can find on their website. The shop is located on a bus and to the far left of K-Mart (at least when I went). The price is around 5 bucks per cup and honestly the amount you get is enough for two people or one very hungry person.
Unique flavors. Better than Haagen Dasz IMHO. Better value. High energy, fun location.
Went here to get boba and they ran out of the bubbles an hour and a half before... Got the milk tea with pudding instead which was okay. The milk tea was nothing special really and probably wouldnt seek to come here again and might want to try somewhere else next time. Though if you find yourself here already or nearby it wouldnt be a bad choice.
Great, unique, tasty treat. SnoCream is delicious. No other restaurants versions of Snow Cream come close! Lots of interesting flavors- Thai tea, milk tea, taro, almond, strawberry, mango, and more!
A really cool place to get some of the best ice cream around. If you love snow cones but ice cream still has your heart- this is the place for you.
The SnoCream company is a part of Asian style food court called The Block. I have never tried sno before, so I can’t compare is it good for real or not. For me the taste of Mango sno was kind of neutral and the texture of ice cream is unusual. From the other hand the variety of toppings, flavors and service is amazing. I am not sure that will come back, just because I like custard more, but definitely worth to try it
Refreshing passion fruit green tea with lycee popping bubbles. It certainly is something different. All good!
The bingsoo was really good. The bubble tea the first time we went was good but the second time was wayyyy too sugary. They cant control the sweetness unless its a specific tea so that sucks. It is good though if its not to sweet.
This place is a great treat. I took my girlfriend here on our second date. Since its slightly hidden, not everyone knows about it. Its a nice place to bring a date. The Snowcream is delicious (Thai Tea flavor ftw) and they also have bubble tea. Highly recommend it for anyone with a bit of a sweet tooth.
Lovely soft rich texture of shaved ice in interesting flavors. The black sesame with red bean was not so sweet but delicious. Pandan and laichi was really good. On the whole, this frozen desert isn’t as rich as ice-cream but is just as if not more delicious.
Really liked them the first few times I’ve been there. Not so great experiences last couple of times so giving them 3 stars. No longer consistent with making their teas and never has grass jelly in stock.
Black seasame was better than the milk tea and mango. So so delicious. Want to go back again.
I got the black ice cream called ash coconut with the black sesame swizzle topping. Delicious.
I didn’t like the snocream ice creams, they are shaved ice and that’s all. Tasted the ash coconut with activated charcoal, different taste but coconut.
Absolutely delicious. Definitely going back.
Pleasant surprise! tasty snocream purchased inside of a converted bus! yummy flavors and toppings youll have to try to appreciate.
Very cool concept and the bus idea is unique. For me the ice cream wasnt cutting it. I am more of a texture person and the consistency of the ice cream was too similar to snow. Besides that the ingredients are very fresh and the flavors are interesting. I had the Thai tea with mochi and strawberries. The mochi was some of the best I have ever had. I will come back and try to green tea once cream. The line was out the door.
Pretty cool! Very crowded and the facilities aren’t amazing...but it is fun to watch them make the ice cream. The flavors are a bit bland though...
Enjoyed matcha green tea matcha chelo which has layers of deliciousness and textures like mochi, jelly, red beans, coconut milk with shaved ice. Vegan and refreshing on a hot summer day.
So many flavors and options...it will keep you going back for more. If you love ice cream, then you have to try snocream. Love Boba?!? This is the place to go. Perfect summertime treat!
I went in thinking that this is ice cream and I actually worked for Ben & Jerrys when they first started. But it is not ice cream it is shaved ice that has no taste, just like a ice cube out of your fig. So thinking of it as a tasteless ice cube makes it better...
Best yummy SNOWCONES in the area with a non American flare. I love it. Great flavor and snowy ice texture.
Great taste and polite staffs.
Interesting place great service love the ice cream other things available as well there with food and a bar parking is easy next to Kmart
Served me a TUB of almond milk tea and it was delicious. Definitely get the honey boba, its not the same without it.
Snowcream has really good boba tea. My favorite is the peach tea with boba and it comes in a large cup. The staff is always friendly when I come here.
The shaved sno ice is consistent, not overly sweet, and tastes like whatever its named. If you order green tea, you wont get watered down matcha sno, youll get matcha sno. Condensed milk drizzle, do it.A new favorite of mine is the taro soft serve. In my opinion, the serving size is small for the $$. They serve soft serve in plastic cups rather than the paper bowls like for the sno. Im all about reduced plastic consumption so that detail doesnt make me happy.
Super cute bus that sells macaroons, boba, and sno cream which is essentially a Taiwanese ice cream. The flavors are diverse including things like black sesame, taro, red bean, mango, etc. The toppings are ample, theres bound to be at least two you like (which comes with the $5 regular option, 3 toppings for $7 large). Also, youre able to pick a drizzle. My favorite is the condensed milk.
It was good, but Im not not suited for making decisions under pressure, so my choice of flavors is whack.
Fantastic boba & shaved ice place. Plenty of choices & toppings make this a fantastic dessert joint to go to
Ive been once and honestly, Ill get a bowl after my entree everytime I go to The Block from now on. My green tea and black sesame combo with Pocky and Fruity Pebbles was amazing, with the driz of condensed milk. Id recommend all day!! Follow @StoopKidsEat on Instagram for more pics and reviews!
Absolutely love this place! The snocream is really good and the atmosphere is fun!
Really fun place to eat at. I had the honeydew flavor and it was delicious!
This is the spot!! Must go and try it at least once. I promise you will be going back time and time again !
Line can be long at times. Great after a day out in the sun. I always get the taro snowcream with fresh bananas, strawberry, and chocolate drizzle.
Delicious ice cream here. All fantastic flavors.
These are so good, but dont come otherwise the lines will be too long for us.
