I really enjoy books. So certainly this is a great place to purchase them and get the wonderful smell of new books. Staff is always kind and helpful as well.

I love bookstores, and Barnes and Noble will always be my favorite chain one. As a teacher, the educator discount helps a lot. Returns and exchanges are super easy, and the staff are awesome! Cant find a book you want? Theyll find it in seconds or see that its out of stock and order it for you. Ive even ordered online and picked up in store. They have a wide selection to choose from and the Cafe makes the best Dragon Drink.

Was very enjoyable ( wish i had known to get a membership card before i dropped almost 300 dollars though) and had a super nice employee help me with the pile of books i was struggling with and came from the other side of the store to bring me a basket! That guy is awesome 👌 👏

Despite not finding Kants Critique of Pure Reason because the philosophy section is always so miniscule, I still walked away with these gems. Sad afternoon made wholly better!

Times have changed and bookstores are no longer in mass quantity like before but for the ones that could hang on its a nice treat to visit. We ended up spending nearly an hour perusing the aisles. At one point I sat to just watch the people and noticed that as a response to COVID the employees here do go through and wipe down as much as possible to include covers of certain books and magazines if the material would allow. It was a nice time to be there.

This particularly large Barnes & Noble has been around for a long time, surviving the 2008 crash and the pandemic. While brick and mortar stores may have their days numbered, this branch lives on yet. Their selection has evolved over the years, shifting from exclusively books to books and tabletop games, but their variety remains wide. Notable is their café, a space that will provide you many hours of study and leisure.The staff is polite and the environment is pleasant. Those of us from Annapolis can only hope that the digital age will spare this longstanding centerpiece of the Harbor Center.

Love this store! Had a great variety of books and it was fully stocked.

A book was priced at 20 in store but only 15.99 online. I asked if they price matched and they said they did for their own online store. Amber immediately price matched the book I asked and matched another book that I hadn’t even noticed was different. Amber also quickly and kindly returned my books earlier that same day. Very kind and accommodating. Customer service was also able to quickly find another book that I needed.

This review will be a bit biased because i love to read. Having said that.. let me tell you about this particular location. Outstanding. Simply put. The staff are very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Now for the twist.. the coffee shop is on the left side of the store. To some of you that may not be odd but im used to it being on the right side where the magazines are. lol. id be interested in knowing about other layouts in other areas because im weird like that. So if youre ever in Annapolis, stop in for a good read/buy and have a couple of cups while youre there.

Till this day dont know how books are categorized. They said by author.... oh well. Many more card games than I recall, esp sci-fi. Several dash diet recipe books. Several books not on their website are in the store, particularly this site. Unfortunately many are not wearing masks

Amid the COVID pandemic, I really enjoy going to outdoor malls whenever I can (read: never). When I got the chance to go out a little I popped into the neighborhood bookstore. They had signage and also rearranged the store for it to allow for social distancing. Although I ended up leaving empty-handed, I am glad to have stopped in to see how stores are successfully implementing these regulations without significantly impacting their core business purpose.

Love being able to look through the titles available. Large selection of titles for young people. Great holiday selection. While there are many titles incorporating cultural diversity, considering how diverse our culture is, the selection was limited in scope.

I love Barnes and Nobles! This one has nice cushy chairs by the magazines and my kids love the train in the kids section.

I love this book store! Of course they have an excellent selection of books - thats their business, but they also have a wonderful selection of puzzles and games. They have vinyl, too! If you are a bibliophile like me, youll get lost inside the store and youll easily be able to spend hours there. If youve never been, do pay them a visit.

Went in within 10 minutes of opening. There were already people sitting in the cafe area. Store was clean, everyone was awake and perky for so early. Someone made sure I could find anything I needed, and the person at the register was polite and courteous.

This is the only place I buy my books. They are always up to date with the newest novels and have such a large selection! So glad bookstores are not completely gone. The whole experience of picking out a book by hand just adds to the reading experience.

We stopped in at the Barnes and Noble Starbucks for Coffee.The baristas there did not know how to make some of the drinks that regular Starbucks prepare. However, one of the ladies working there went out of her way to try to make it right. She didnt but her effort is commendable.It was a great place for meeting relatives we hadnt seen in a long time.

Nice place for picking up paper books or browsing, well stocked in time for Christmas. The coffee area server was very friendly and efficient. The seating for the coffee shop did not have a cozy feel...seemed like a very good place for conducting business or studying as some patrons were doing.

I love this place. Some people go to bars on Saturday night and I go to the bookstore and get a latte at the Starbucks located inside. Sarah is awesome. She has been there as long as I can remember. We should all shop local especially for books since all our bookstores are disappearing . This place is a true treasure.

Always loved going here prior to lockdown to study in their cafe while getting frapps on the regular. Very friendly and homely atmosphere walking through the door with the employees eager to assist when in need. Katherine in particular is my favorite barista and she deserves a raise. Always made me feel welcome there and I missed talking to her during lockdown.If youre in the mood for chilling with a good book and some baller coffee, then this is your place yo.

Pretty run of the mill Barnes & Noble. It was very well organized with labels to enable customers to find what they are looking for. The employees were all very nice. At least 3 people asked if I needed help when I was browsing. The store itself was very clean and had wide enough aisles and spaces to allow me to navigate through with my intense stroller. The selection of books and other merchandise was extensive and offered variety.

If you get their reader card, you get 20% discount on new releases, best sellers as well as a smaller discount on all other merchandise. They will order books for you. Nice cafe and the discount extends to cafe items. Note: Barnes and Noble sold off Nook so discount does not apply there.

Pretty nice. Cafe gets a bit full and not really any plugs if you want to work and sip coffee. Also can get a tad loud. Would like more travel books, non-fiction and life improvement and less toys/games, pop-fiction and religious/spiritual, but you go where the money is I guess.Still, a nice place.

Pretty much best selection of books and periodicals in the area. Service is great and their in-stock online listings, tend to be accurate for this store so far. If it says they have it online, at this store, Im 4 for 4. Would recommend. Associates are helpful and fast. Almost never a line at checkout. They have a large cafe/reading area inside and a childrens area as well.

While I honestly admit too doing most of my shopping online I still love walking into a book store and picking up a real book and holding it in my hand. The people here are friendly, the book selection is excellent, and if they dont have it they get it within a couple of days. Everyone should venture out to B&N once in a while.

I have a school age childcare and I love going to B & N! The staff there is so knowledgeable and helpful! The summer reading incentive is so fun and really encourages children to read! After reading and reviewing they get a free book!! The kids love it and I love seeing their faces!!

Very large book store with a huge collection. If you cant find what you need, staff will probably be able to order it in for you pretty quickly. Theres a cafe inside if you want to sit down with a drink and read quietly. Price is higher compared to Amazon but you do get what you dont with Amazon, human interface and services. The staff are quite friendly.

Love this bookstore! I felt so lucky to find a copy of the Time Magazine with Cicely Tyson on the cover after looking for it everywhere else for days. Their magazine section is really nice. End of season sales are also nice.

This is your typical big box book seller. It has a cafe and is well maintained and clean. It offers a great selection of books and related items. I have always found the staff to be very helpful and eager to assist. I would recommend this store to others looking to purchase books, magazines and newspapers.
