Absolutely PERFECT! At the back of a bookstore in historic Annapolis. The nicest Barista you could ever imagine with scones to die for. And plenty of books too!

A small cafe in the back of a small, but amazing, book store. We loved our cortado and cappuccino that we enjoyed while sitting at a small table in the back yard. It was shady and quiet, but mostly peaceful - a lovely place to sit and enjoy an afternoon beverage and maybe a good book or company.Definitely worth a visit!

Great, quiet and unique place. Full of books for browsing and buying, an outdoor area to sit and think and take in a little slice of whatever you want to imagine. Really enjoyed the barista and conversation on the local history, and comings and goings of historic Annapolis. Truly a little gem.

The flat white was too notch. Also had a lemon bar that was delicious. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Highly recommend a visit!

Got there and had waited for 5-10 for anyone to show up from behind the counter. Asked the girl at the front if the Cafe was open, she went and found the girl working the Cafe for me who was downstairs.The Cafe girl was very nice, the products were very good and well priced.

Today was my first time visiting Brown Mustache Coffee and I can’t wait to go back. It was such a neat place inside and out. The staff were very nice and the iced latte was delicious! :)

I absolutely LOVE this place. I came here for the first time today and was blown away by the shop itself, but also the service and quality of the food / drinks. They have lots of gluten free options! I came early in the morning so there was basically no one there (perfect for getting work done) The environment was very relaxed and cozy and there are SO MANY books! Definitely worth the 5 stars!

One of my favorite coffee spots ever! So whimsical and cozy located inside a local bookstore. Be sure to check out the outdoor seating during nice weather and the basement for some hogwarts vibes. Also during the holidays their peppermint tea late was the most delicious drink I’ve had hands down! A must stop if you are in Annapolis!

The cutest place for coffee in Annapolis! The coffee is delicious and they have the good local milk, oat milk and use the compostable cups/lids😊 Beautiful garden and porch to sit. The best bookshop to browse. Love it❤

Super charming. I can’t get enough of their lattes with house-made lavender syrup. The baristas know what they’re doing and are super friendly (especially Madison!). Hands down my favorite spot for coffee downtown.

We stopped here for afternoon coffee and tea while visiting Annapolis. It’s a quickwalk from the State House. BMC provided very good service, nice atmosphere (inside a neighborhood bookstore), good coffee and tea. They carry Adagio Tea. I had a 20oz Earl Grey; it was delicious and smooth with a hint of vanilla. BMC was a wonderful find!

This place is awesome. So cozy inside, and the teas they carry are fantastic. I got one called the Bonfire, a smoked tea with fruit and spices, it was amazing. And their espresso drinks are incredible. Great customer service too!

Employee who prepared the order seemed to be living under the mantra paid by the hour.Upon realisation of his mistake, the employee simply grumbled to the following customer that their order would take a while longer. Id imagine that customer is still there to this day, waiting, all in vain.

If you love a really really good cup of coffee this is a great stop. A friend and I went here recently before going to brunch at Iron Rooster since there was a wait and it was really delightful. I got a seasonal maple latte - which is different for me because I dont LOVE sweet coffee. To my surprise, it was very coffee forward with subtle notes of maple and not sweet at all. Do not come here if you are in a hurry - it is often very busy and since all of the coffee/espresso drinks are hand crafted they take time. Meet a friend, read a book, and drink some delicious joe.

Charming and cute. If you want a local coffee, a place to read, or just a quiet place, this is it. I always try to go local but if I do, the coffee needs to be good. The proprietor knows his coffee and knows how to make them. The book store is relaxing.

Super charming and cozy coffee place run by a local food activist and his wife. If any place deserves support, its this one...and I wouldnt say that if the coffee and food werent so good but they are. As this place finds its legs, it could really join 49 West among the ranks of Annapolis spots with charm, ambience, and community draw.

I’m from Colorado & am spoiled there by an abundance of choices for great coffee. I struggle a bit when east as a result. Had an iced mocha today at Brown Mustache: best one I’ve had anyplace out east, barring none. The barista was a doll, too - so friendly & kind; she can whip up a tiger of an espresso drink, too. Plus, it’s a bookstore. Sigh.

This sweet little coffee shop is everything! The coffee is stellar (Ceremony Roasters)! Nice and cozy in an awesome little bookstore, little play area for kids, and a healthy menu of snacks, too!

The coffee itself was good, but the service left room for growth. We initially ordered 4 pour overs, which was meant by reluctance from the barista and aggravation. After his reaction, we changed to just two and got 2 drip pours so as to not do greatly inconvenience him. After this experience, we wont be back.
