I have been to this Ulta many times over many years and my experience yesterday has never happened before. Floor employees will ask if I need help and then leave me alone if I dont. They arent pushy trying to make me buy stuff when I have needed assistance. The floor employees have been perfect. Well, a gentleman who said he worked for Philosophy was hovering so close and then was trying his best to try to get me interested in retinol that I was so overwhelmed and irritated I finally just said thank you and walked away. I would have liked to look at more Philosophy products, but not with him so close to me the way he was.

Wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Hairstylist Rose Ireland. Rose took care of myself, my mom, and my sister on Saturday for my wedding day. I came in with one photo of an idea I had and she blew me away. Her skill and professionalism were enough to earn her this review, but it was her personable nature that makes me want to come back to her. She took her time with each of us and made us feel incredibly comfortable in her chair. Rose, you made me BEAUTIFUL on my special day and I cannot thank you enough!

Fantastic in-store experience. I was able to find everything I need with the help of a fabulous employee. I wish I could remember her name. She had on cow print eyeshadow and really knew her stuff. I look forward to more in-store shopping at this location!

Just stopped by the Ulta in Annapolis for a new Bare Minerals foundation. Lauren was very helpful in helping me pick the correct shade. She also assisted me in looking at Clinique eye shadows. I appreciate her recommendation to go to the Ulta in Gambrills or Pasadena for brow wax services since these services are mot currently available in the Annapolis store. Lauren was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. She is certainly an asset to the Ulta organization.

I have only recently started wearing makeup regularly for work so I will be the first to say that I am not an expert. However, I found Ulta Beauty very pleasant to shop at even during the height of the pre-holiday rush and the products selection was excellent. The staff was very knowledgeable, clearly an all hands on deck effort and was extremely quick to help check people out. Had a great experience and will be back.

Visited a week or so ago, ended up being followed around. This was an extremely uncomfortable experience, I will not be shopping here again. To the clearly concerned employee: I didn’t steal nor have any intention to steal anything. Not sure why it was necessary to be constantly following me while I was shopping.

I love this place. However Id advise against using the hair salon inside the store. I had a pretty terrible experience when getting my hair colored there once. Ive never done it again. I would definitely recommend going to the retail side for absolutely any beauty product that you may need! They have everything!

I enjoy visiting this store with my wife. The staff are all quite friendly, and very helpful. My wife is able to find what she wants when we go, so the selection appears to be good. Overall, a positive experience.

They have all of the best beauty products under one roof! It is pricey but designer makeup is expensive, only reason I gave it 4 stars is because someof the staff have attitude but not all!

I shop at the Parole Md Ulta, the parking is very limited in the shopping center. I dont understand why your employees take up all the spaces. I would suggest a manager find a more suitable location for them to park so paying customers are able to find a reasonable place to park.

I would give this store zero stars if i could. The store managers “customer service” is terrible! I just spent two hours on the phone with customer service trying to resolve an issue with an order, that could’ve been solved in 5 minutes if the manager was interested in actually helping their loyal customers. 3 years shopping at ulta and NEVER AGAIN will i step foot in this place!

Store closed at 6:30 p.m. or earlier - supposedto close at 7 p.m. . I arrived at 6:33 p.m. lights are on, but no one in the store. Awful! I called the number for curbside pickup no response. Never again will I support this location.

Great staff and great stylists. I had blue direct dye in my hair and Jess took all of the blue/green pigment out of my hair while keeping my hair soft. It’s now platinum blonde and I can’t wait to see what she does next! 10/10 would recommend.

The salon at the Ulta store at Solomon’s Island RD in Annapolis, MD deserves every star of the Five star rating I am giving it. I was at the salon today, and the salon was busy, especially for a Sunday morning! Even though they were busy, my stylist Tionna treated me as if I were her only customer. I’ve been to other Ulta salons that are closer to my home, like the Towson location, but this location has them beat as far as customer service, which is why I drive 45 minutes to go there. The staff at the Annapolis salon greets me like they knows me for years, warm and welcoming, in fact the entire crew at this location is welcoming. This morning the staff greeted saying welcome to Ulta. I’ve only been going to the Annapolis location for a little under a year., the store is so well stocked and ultra clean, or should I say “Ulta” clean. I’ll end this review by saying Ulta, you should be very proud of this salon and store.

Its was great would of given them 5 star but they had canceled my appointment. They didnt call me . The girl that did my eyebrows was great and she worked me in . The gal that did my mustache removal was really nice .

Ashley did a great job with my color and haircut. I have been to many high end salons that will cost you double the amount you will pay at Ulta Beauty. I didnt find a difference, but happily paid less. The environment is very relaxing and after you get your hair done, you can shop around the store for fun products.

They have the best cosmetics. Customer service service is top notch. I love their prices.

The store itself is clean and there are some customer service folks on the floor that are responsive, but in general the representatives seem to ignore their customers. For example, I went over to the MAC counter and two girls were over there doing their own makeup. I even mentioned that I made need assistance and they brushed it off. They also do not carry some products, such as Lancome. If you need to go in on your own and buy products, the store is pretty good. If you need help, not the best place.

Ashley in the Salon is the BEST. I have gone to several other stylists there and I would not go back to any of them. Ashley does a great job with color and cut. She really takes the time to understand what you want and makes any adjustments after styling to make sure you leave the salon completely happy!!

People have the misconception that Ulta is the dollar discount store for make up...they are so wrong. I have to frequent this establishment with my wife every now and again and she loves it. It is like the super store of cometics. Then is so mens stuff, but largely for the lady of your life.

I really love this Ulta location.The store was very organized when I first walked in. Everyone were groomed well and looked very professional. I came there to get a color and cut with Tionna. As I walked in there, I was greeted immediately and everyone was super friendly. Let me just say that I was very pleased. To top it off my appointment with Tionna was amazing. She was very professional and very friendly. She made me feel very comfortable which is very important to me, considering that when I go into these places it gives me anxiety, because I usually never really come into places like this . When I talked to Tionna she seemed to be very informative and knowledgeable about the services she provides. Tionna made me feel very glamorous and beautiful. It My hair looked so soft and beautiful. It definitely gave me that extra confidence boost.

Very friendly and helpful people. Im a regular customer. They know me as soon as I get there. They ask me if I need anything all the time, makes me feel special, as if I was they only person in the store.

Clean, stocked and all customer reps were nice. There is a bathroom to the right ig thw store in the back. You have to ask to be let in.

This location has great staff but terrible product selection. Most items are sold out which is terribly inconvenient when every visit your met with they may have it at another location that is over 30 minutes away Why would a consumer continue shopping here? Sephora is only a 5 minutes away.This location doesnt stock any Juvias Place which is also inconvenient.

Great store, and have had good customer service in the past. However, on a recent visit to buy my usual hair spray, I noticed a sign on the shelf that there was a gift with purchase for over $25. I bought the larger can than usual, because, what the heck, why not try another product that I might purchase in the future? At checkout, the employee had no knowledge of the gift with purchase. She turned to her co-worker and asked if she knew. Co-worker said Oh, we dont have any. It was the first day of the promotion (I got the direct mail piece), and there was a lot of signage in place on the shelves. Bad form. Im disappointed by the lack of customer service.

Ive been in here twice in 3 weeks, one on a Monday and the others on a Saturday and they dont replenish as much. I have been looking for this specific eyebrow product and was told it would come in and to check back but they still havent replenished. Im better off shopping in sephora or even online.

This was my first time getting my hair cut at Ulta salon. A neighbor had a good experience here and I had read good reviews.I saw Gina for a hair cut. She was very attentive and washed and dried my hair, and took a long time cutting.This is in the top 4 worst haircuts I have ever received. One side was choppy. The other side was badly cut.I came home and fixed my hair. Good thing I have some basic skills! :) I evened things out and it looks decent now!I learned my lesson to stay with my salon that charges more but does a consistently excellent job.

I go to this ulta location frequently. The store is nicely organized and the associates there are wonderful. I got my hair braided at the salon and loved it. Theyre usually out of stock of my foundation but that doesnt stop me from buying all the things when I go in there.

I visited the Ulta in Gambrills for a brow wax. They were so rude and unhelpful. I left and went to the Ulta in Annapolis. They were so friendly. They greeted me at the door, continually asked I needed help, and even offered me a drink while I was shopping. Cari at the brow bar made time to do my brows, even though I was a walk in AND she had a full book of appointments. She did amazing on my brows. I will definitely return!

Love Ulta, I go with my monthly coupon, altho I am not a shopper and not sure that even with the coupon it is cheaper than other stores, especially with drugstore brands like Olay, LOreal, Garnier, etc. There are some brands that they dont carry and I find myself at Sephora for those, but in general a pretty good selection. And usually good customer service

EVERY last time I go to this store they are low on inventory and completely out of everything I am looking for. I have never received a good recommendation for a product from a sales associate here which makes me question their knowledge and qualifications. The parking in the Harbor Center is a massive problem, and with Target and Sephora down the street, there is exactly zero incentive to shop here.

Love their huge selection and variety of make-up, skin care, body care, and tools. They have low end up to very high end.

Terrible. Booked online for a haircut then drove 45 minutes to be there. They said they didnt have a stylist. Didnt try to re schedule or help in any way just basically said you are out of luck. The worker was rude. Just moved to the area and looking for a long term stylist. Will never shop there again. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I went once and the general manager should be ashamed. She basically was bullying a client because she didnt have funds to pay for her items. I was standing there and shocked that her tag said general manager. I rather drive 30 minutes away then to know that I will be talked about when I visit this locations. No general manager should make fun of their clients.

Terrible customer service! I have been to this location several times and I hate it. The people at the register try to ignore African American customers when they walk in the door. All money is green you can say welcome to ULTA but as soon as a white customer come in behind you. Loud and clear Hello welcome to ULTA 😰 Im going to Annapolis mall to MAC more diversity!!!!!

I LOVE Ulta Beauty in fact I shop here regularly I only shop Sephora for brands Ulta does not carry. Plus being a platinum member I love the extra samples I get... Im also the type who doesnt need much assistance from the staff. Anyways I went in to trade out something I purchased in the store but I didnt have the receipt the Manager acted as tho I was a HUGE inconvenience and was rather rude I know she could look into my acct and see I purchased it. Nvm I had the card I used... Anyways I will always goto this store but if she disrespects me again I will file a grievance (and I dont even work there) lol but seriously staff should be polite always they never know if someone is a secret shopper or not. :)

I had a great salon experience here! A friend of mine referred me to a woman by the name of Nasetia. I wanted a full ombre and she did an amazing job. She also recommended some great products that I now use (Joico K-Pak Color Therapy Shampoo+Conditioner along with Paul Mitchells Smoothing Super Skinny Serum) and my hair has never felt healthier! Friendly employees, a great selection, and very fair salon prices. I definitely recommend this place!
