It takes me back to when was a kid. No flashy ads. Not everything at you at once. You are not having to dodge order pickers. Just a very peaceful relaxing place to get what you need.

Its a good place to buy groceries. The prices are low on all products which is a plus, the downside to the prices being low is that their low because most all of the products they carry are some off name brand that Ive never heard of. Which would be fine except i dont like buying sliced cheese that doesnt melt and that was the case until they started carrying Bordens Brand and that brand isnt that great in my opinion.

Meh. Mediocre value, especially now that I found Aldi.The employees dont talk. Im not sure if they are allowed to, or just choose not to do so, or cant.The store is clean enough. You arent going to Save A Lot because store cleanliness is your priority. You go here for discount generic food and beverages, and theres plenty of that.However, Aldi is nearby. Its less expensive, the quality of product is higher, its a newer store, and its in a bit nicer area.

Great place for nonbrand foods at discount prices. Store is rarely congested with shoppers and exceptionally clean despite the buildings age. Staff is friendly and helpful when asked. Has special sales on meat items regularly.

Produce quality and diversity of stock has gone down significantly in the past few months. Not sure why. Staff is still friendly but overal product quality has dropped. Will try them again inn a few months to see if anything has improved.

In Anniston you have a choice of pic n sav or sav a lot a little further up the road is aldis. Each place has certain items that are cheaper than the other. I choose sav a lot if I only need a few items. Their dairy and eggs tend to be more expensive than the other stores though. Aldis is the cheapest by far but has a more limited selection.
