The CMP is a fantastic and worthwhile organization, and I love the store. These people keep the legendary M1 Garand up and running.πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‘πŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈThank you CMP for all that you do!

I drove down there a to buy a 1903a1 Springfield of a small batch that CMP got in. I ended up leaving with a post WW2 M1 Garand. Glad I did the trip, I also got to hand select the rifle. Even then there will be buyers remorse do to choice of shooter vs collection rifle. I went with the first and didnt get a 1903, I should have bought both M1 and 1903. Now I would like a old stock for storage of cleaning kit, not a new production that doesnt have it and slightly proud wood. Looks good though.. πŸ‘The staff are very interested in helping you out and very knowledgeable on rifles, Civilian Marksmanship program (the ones I talked with) with that be respectful. The one who your talking with might be a lot more knowledgeable about it than you or you think you are.I have been back there a few more times, I was planning on going back until the latest problems. ( C.V. 19) now to make the trip down again since re-opening.

The CMPs prices on ammo have been consistent when others have been capitalizing on panic buyers. I also believe their customer service is top notch. I would recommend their products. Thank you

Very happy with the Covid-19 safety measures. Went today and picked up a 1903. Bought a M1 and 1911 previously. The staff are very helpful and the purchase went quickly. Wished they had 30.06 ammunition, but right now no one has any in stock.

Was a great experience to purchase from the store direct. Yes, you pay the taxes, but you get to hand select your piece while also having the expertise of the CMP staff there for assistance. I would recommend going in person at least once!

Extremely professional and friendly staff. The facilities are fantastic with electronic targets, compressed air, mats, and kneeling rolls are provided. The summer camp was amazing. My young shooter came back with a new sense of determination and vastly improved skill.

The CMP is a great program. Ive bought a number of surplus rifles from them over the years. I just recently purchased a 1911a1 pistol from them. If youve never heard of the CMP or havent yet bought anything from them you should definitely look into filling out the paperwork to be able to purchase from them. Prices have gone up for garands and their other items but they are still much better than anywhere else, by far. One day Ill make it to their range. The surplus will dry out one day, it already has for carbines and other rifles. Get in while the getting is good.

This place was a pretty huge disappointment. I love firearms, and history, and have been looking forward to visiting this place for a long time, and it was just really disappointing. The only put a few Garands out every day, and if you dont get there early, you dont get anything nice, and the prices that they are charging are just not a great deal. Plus, you have to sign up for a few things / be a member of something or other in order to buy anything. No thanks. Plus, no photos - WHY?
