Nice boat rental. Nice people. Beautiful day for a boat ride.

With the exception of the radios, the boats are always in good shape. Everyone that Ive dealt with there has been nice - from the person that answers the phone to the person that checks you in to the guys that get the boat ready and get you when you come back. Even the outhouse is about as clean as you could ask for an outhouse. Every time Ive been there the boat is ready and the paperwork is all set. Its a quick process and were off on the water.

The whole day was perfect. Upon arrival the sign in process was thorough and quick. The boats were spotless and ran beautifully all day. The staff was super friendly and we are looking forward to renting from them again soon!

We had 8 hrs on our pontoon with our family and we could have stayed longer. The pontoon was spotless. The people were very helpful and so friendly. Just a great day!

They had a fishing tournament the day we went. It was fun to watch them come in and weigh the catch. There was a raffle anyone could participate in. Great prizes! The burn pit was ok and lots of seating.

Staff is amazingly helpful and nice. Very easy to make reservations. We did the paddle boards...excellent quality and so much fun. Highly recommend!! Chris and Erica r great!!

Friendly people. The mini is a putt putt, Id advise an upgrade . The positive to the mini, we were basically on WOT when we werent in a no wake zone, and it sips gas. We will be back...for the deck boat 👍!

Fun place, stopped I at Blarney island and then EL Puerto restaurant while cruising on in pontoon. Super busy on holiday weekend so just need to watch all the kids on jsy skis.

Beware of post credit cards charges at this place! They do not take care of giving boat in proper rental conditions then want to add charges post rental if there are problems. Had an issue with one of the anchor knots not secured properly and of course it was our fault because the teenager who prepped our boat did not tie it properly so lost the anchor. No mention of additional charges at time of checkout either. What a scam!

From the online reservation system to returning the boat the service was great! We rented a mini pontoon which was perfect for a little fishing. It doesnt go that fast. We are beginner boaters so this was the best choice for our needs. There fleet of regular size pontoons looked great! Well cared for. I would recommend this marina for sure. Erica took great care of us.

Usually do not give 5 starts, but these guys deserve it.Always a pleasure vising them. They make the whole process such a breeze. We had a change of plans a few times and they were VERY accommodating. The equipment is in good condition but the service is EXCELLENT!!!! Our first boat date was rained out. Very easy to cancel and reschedule. Everything was great, we had lots of fun, 2 hours cost us about $25 in gas. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because the tri-toon boat looked pretty old.

Had a fantastic experience with these guys from the booking system right through to the end. Booking is done online so you can easily see availability. We booked the deck boat for 5 adults and 2 kids.On the day of the rental the weather started really bad. We had an 11.30am booking, called at 10am, they said we could push back up to 2 hours or take a rain check for up to a year. I thought this was great service and we took advantage to take the 2 hour delay.The rental start was quick, good instruction, awesome boat. It was like brand new, very clean. Return was easy, extra $16 for gas.Everyone had an awesome time.

Our family’s first time renting a boat and on the Chain O Lakes. The people at Spring Lake Marina were incredibly helpful, thorough in providing instructions and great at pointing out locations to swim, water sport or anchor for views. All-in-all a great family experience and when it was all done the staff at Spring Lake helped us dock and secure the boat. The boat was also great, large pontoon with 115HP motor that was plenty fast for water sports (for our family). Will definitely rent from them again.

Definitely recommend! Spring Lake Marina made my first booking experience so easy. They provided all the info I needed in order to be prepared the day of my trip with friendly service to go along. The pontoon boats are clean and in great shape as well.

Rented the 24’ pontoon and had a great time. The checkin process is smooth, very informative and well organized. The boat itself was large and comfortable and we all had a great time. Look forward to using Spring Lake Marina’s services again in the future.

We rented a pontoon boat for some outdoor family time. The booking was easy and friendly. The boat was in great condition despite being a bit old. The boat was well powered and adequate for exciting the 3 boys on board. This was our first boating trip on the Chain O Lakes. The Marina is well positioned for maximizing exploring the lakes. What stood out was the service. From the booking through the orientation, the information from the staff was relevant and well paced. Recommendations on where to swim, eat etc. were well thought through. Our family had a wonderful time. My boys are excited to do it again.

Rented a tritoon for four hours for about 9 people. More than enough space for everyone on board. We had 3 coolers, with snacks, drinks, and adult beverages. Theres a loop you take that puts you through 5 lakes, which they told us would take an hour if we do a straight shot through. But we just explored the lakes and bays, also rented a water carpet, which the kids enjoyed. The boaters here had proper etiquette, and we had no close calls. Everyone had such a great time, that we are already planning our next trip out to these lakes.

We were first time boaters and hired a small powerboat for a couple of hours. The staff are very nice and helpful, the boat was easy to drive, the scenery is beautiful, and we had a blast. Would recommend. 2 hours isnt enough for a novice to get round the chain of lakes though, we only got as far as Route 12 on lake Nippersink. If you want to do the full chain at a relaxing pace you should allow more time.

We rented a pontoon for 10 people and had an amazing day on the water. We parked our coolers, fishing poles, and swimsuits and had a blast. Everyone was super helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. We will definitely be back one day!

Loved the deck boat we rented for 8 hours although towards the end time the boat stopped abruptly, we called the mechanic and they came immediately to do a quick repair. The service overall is great with Spring Lake Marina. We will rent with them again next time we go there.

Rented a 24 pontoon for a company event with kids and baby. Rented for 6 hours. Had a great time. Boat ran wonderfully. They walked us through the boat and the chain prior. We basically drove to the sandbar and enjoyed the water for 6 hours and headed back. They helped us dock and charged us for the $7 we used in fuel for the day. Will be recommending this marina in the future.

Very good service, the only issue was that we were charged around $30.00 for gas, but never explained how they came up with the amount since the fuel gauge on the boat was not working, I do not know purposely or only on that particular boat. I feel like $30 for gas for 2.5 hour rental is a little too much, provided for over 45 min we were swimming and not operating the boat.

Okay, my day started off with a few people in my party canceling so I was a little irritated. However, the ones who did show was enough for me because they’re always a blast to hang around. Upon arrival we were greeted by a giant dog which happens to be so nice and cuddly so no reason to be afraid lol. The lady that checked us in was very informative and gave us to the point info that helped us navigate and remain safe,( they really care about your safety) her son Matt was excellent at explaining how to operate that lovely pontoon we rented which was clean, full of fuel and modern. Listen folks spring lake was absolutely amazing and the locals were so helpful and down to earth except one guy that yelled at us but that didn’t bother me we laughed it off lol. Blarney island is a hidden gem and I’ve never had so much fun being an hour away from home, it felt like we were on a Caribbean island. Special that’s to the lady that answered the phn and gave us info prior to booking, she’s such a doll and had the personality of your favorite Aunt. I would def recommend spring lake, their family ran business is awesome, by the way thanks to the young lady that docked us at the end, she was very nice. If you want to rent a boat from a place that treats their customers with respect and has decent customer service, Spring Lake Marina is not for you. Spring Lake Marina booked our reservation and their representative, Amy, called me after charging my credit card to tell me that they had a glitch in their system and need to upgrade me to the 4 hour minimum for twice as more cost. I explained to her the situation and told her that your upgrade offer is not what were looking for (I was also thinking why she called it an upgrade when we have to pay 2x more? Maybe she doesnt know what upgrade means...but thats a whole different topic)During our phone conversation, Amy politely reminded me that this unfortunate situation wasnt about the money, but a few minutes later she contradicts herself by telling me that she knows that she will get this boat booked for some other party for a 4 hour minimum that will pay the $500+. Was it really not about the money then, Amy? It sounds like you were trying to fish out money from our 14 people party who wouldve gladly spent a handsome amount of money to enjoy their time on the lake. But Amy only sees the dollar amount that she can reel in from her fishing pole to naive customers who probably will and have fallen for her upgrade offer due to a system glitchA well respected company, unlike Spring Lake Marina, would own up to their mistake and work something out to retain a local customer with a huge party of 14 guests....If youre looking for a respectable company, there are plenty in the area. I guarantee that you will be wasting your time and money at Spring Lake Marina as they will scam you with upgrade offers or claim false damages after you get off their fleet.Try Your Boat Club or Bobs Marina where youll be treated with better customer service and also get a newer fleet of boats. See photo below for better choices. There is plenty of fish in the water, pun intended.

I have lived in Chicago 15 years and just learned about these lakes. Its the Key West of the Midwest as the marina owner here said. Great boat and super well maintained. Very easy to do business with, from the online booking to checking in to returns. Honest and trustworthy family run business. We got the 24 pontoon with a 115 hp motor for 5 hours and it worked well for tubing and general cruising. The different lakes are fun and easy to navigate and there are plenty of places to drop anchor and chill out. Renting a boat is always pretty expensive but a lot cheaper than owning a boat! We will come back the Spring Lake Marina again for sure.

Rented from them for 8 hours on a Saturday. They took the time to explain everything to us very well suggested the best places to tube and were all around very nice. Will definitely be using them again.

Best day on the lake we ever had. Boats were brand new. Crew very organized and friendly. Couldnt have asked for anything more. Mind you we were a group of 60!

We had a fantastic time out yesterday. We had a group of 12 for a 30th birthday so we rented the brand new tripoon. It was perfect!! Plenty of space, beautiful, equipped, everything you needed for a perfect birthday party on the water. The customer service was wonderful, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful!! We will definitely use them again in the future.

This place is a scam. Just like the previous review from Edith B said. A group of 10 of us rented a pontoon on 8/12/2017. We drove it just fine for 4 hours and when we got back they claimed we messed up the motor and charged everyone in our group $114. And nobody in our group saw anybody inspecting the motor. Im not sure if they thought we had money because we were all dressed up since we were celebrating my birthday and another friends birthday. Or they simply do this often since the office is technically someones house. So a scam? Most definitely. Beware! You may end up pulling out $114 from your pockets or even more if there are less people in your group. This company is not suitable for bigger groups, they really know how to scam people!!!

We rented a pontoon for the day to take the family out. The people that worked there were very nice, welcoming and informative. They were waiting for us when we arrived to take the boat out and they were waiting for us when we brought the boat back in. I will absolutely use them again.

Rented a deck boat. Friendly people and good equipment. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Boats are new. They have deck boat, speed boats, pontoons. We were able to relax on them and use them for tubeing and waterskiing. Go there for a good time on the lake. I will definitely be back.
