Brought my old Toyota Camry into their shop today, and I asked about helping me fix the wiring harness to connect to an old alpine head unit. (I had taking my car to a local business that had stated that they were open in the morning, come to find out their shop is closed!) Immediately- as soon as I came in, I was greeted behind the counter from the support staff. Could not ask anymore from the two friendlier guys (Eric and Allen(?)). They immediately connected it up- and its working. Very clean showroom, extremely organized, and Eric was direct and to the point. No hassle which is key. Thank you guys for getting me out of a bind, and youre WELL worth the trip. Anybody looking for a good deal, and want to feel valued and require a professional installation- . Look no further, you found it.

I have known these guys for years. They have worked on two of my cars. Sound and lighting installs. They have worked on many friends cars too. They are all about doing it right. They also understand the details of the work. There is no other S&S shop in northern IL that I would use or encourage my friends to use. Keep up the great work.

Y’all are such a ripoff!! I could’ve gotten an amplifer cheaper some place else! The amplifier I bought from u guys was $499 with not a lot of watts!! The speakers price is ridiculous! Should’ve had my friend done it for me! $1 grand for the whole setup and $500 labor?! Really am not happy at all!

Eric consulted and performed the install on my ‘15 GMC Yukon and it couldn’t be better. We even salvaged one of my older amps, as it’s still kicking out good power.Without listing every single component, let’s just say he did a lot of customizations that turned out perfectly.I’m highly recommending Premium Sound & Security and have been since August 2018!

Walked in looking to upgrade speakers and add an amplifier to my wifes Jeep Wrangler. Walked out with a $2813.47 quote. Called Sound Decisions in Mt. Pleasant and got a quote for $1100.00. JL Audio makes a kit for the Wrangler. Very disappointed as I live 10 minutes away and would like support local businesses.

I recently bought a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta TDI and wanted to get the windows tinted. I stopped in to Premium Sound and was immediately greeted by a friendly staff. I expressed interest in doing 20% around the entire vehicle and was warned about Illinois and Wisconsin state law. It was nice to have that knowledge, but I proceeded with the 20% anyway.I dropped my vehicle off on Sunday night to be worked on the following morning. They finished my vehicle before I got off work and it was sitting waiting for me. They are very quick with everything they do and use excellent products. They dont cut any corners. You can expect the best out of these guys!I would highly recommend them.I will be going back in the future for my audio/video needs on my VW Jetta.Thank you!Jack

Ive gone to Premium Sound & Security twice and been greatly impressed both times!Last year, I bought some speakers and foolishly though I was adept enough to install these myself. One car door debacle later and I was in the phone book looking for someone to fix my problem as soon as possible. Premium Sound & Security took me in the next morning, a Saturday, installed my speakers, and I paid only a reasonable labor charge. Saved from my own stupidity!This year, I upgraded to a new stereo with iPod capability. The unit also plays CDs. Or, at least its supposed to play CDs. The first unit would skip and garble and generally not work well at all. Stopped in and drove out with a new stereo MINUTES later!The second unit also would not properly play CDs, and was overheating to the point of the CDs and unit itself being almost too hot to touch! PS&S patiently investigated for shorts and ran the unit and confirmed the issue, but no cause was found. Again, replaced the unit!I offered to pay something for their time and effort up to this point, and was refused.Heres to hoping the problem is fixed, but, regardless, these guys have already gone above and beyond at their own expense to fix a problem that appears to be caused by manufacturer defect.HIGHLY PLEASED CUSTOMER HIGHLY RECOMMENDS Premium Sound & Security!
