This store has great service! The staff is amazing! The manger Frances is the sweetest! I love coming to a store where they make you feel like family!!!! 😘😘
I’ve been to this location a few times.. It’s 50/50. Employees have been either super friendly or super rude.. really no in between. I keep coming back because it’s closer to my home than the other locations. Today was the last time I will ever visit this location. Associates were very friendly to me, but while I was shopping I heard a lady asking some questions about a hair appliance. They were very dry and rude to her.. One girl even making nasty faces and rolling her eyes at the customer! maybe she had been unpleasant to them I’m not sure, so I ignored it. After she left, they started going on about how stupid this customer is and how “trashy” she was dressed. She was just a regular person wearing regular summer clothes, but was called trashy for wearing a pair of shorts in 95 degree weather. I was totally disgusted. Yeah they were being nice to my face, but Who knows all that they were saying behind my back or behind anyone else’s.. such a shame. This store needs a whole new staff. they just feed off of each others awful energy and it’s a nasty cycle. I won’t be spending any more of my money here, and neither should you- unless you don’t mind disrespectful employees who are gonna bad mouth you after visiting.
I had a number of poor encounters at the Apex location when I first moved to NC over a year ago. The workers were rude and unaccommodating, I will leave it at that. Even though it was the closest location to my home, I swore to never return to that location .I was in a pinch one evening right before the Christmas holiday, so I sucked it up and rushed back to the Apex location. Even though it was right before closing time, I was not hurried to make my selections or felt any pressure to rush out in order for them to close the store. The girls there were knowledgeable about the products and helped me make my final decisions, in my own time. It was the total opposite of my previous experiences and I was pleasantly surprised. I had to go back the following morning to make use of a coupon I forgot the day before and I had the pleasure of meeting, and chatting with, the new manager, Frances. I found out that the location is now under brand new management (only about a week or so at the time) and that the store has been completely re-staffed. I will be going back to this location on a normal basis from now on!! I suggest all those who had poor previous encounters to go back and try again! I’m glad I did.
So disappointed! This has happened to many people I know now including myself.... go in tell and show them okay this is the color I need I need a product that won’t make me look yellow, orange, and red. went Twice yesterday because the first time the lady didn’t give me the correct stuff went back got home and now my hair is yellow. Please educate your staff better when recommending products! I asked several times okay this won’t make my hair brassy or the yellow color oh no she swore it wouldn’t. Will be going back and having a chat with a manager.
THEY F#%$ed UP MY HAIR! I’ve been going to this location quite often since it is within walking distance from my job. I usually just tone my hair but when my roots grow in I’ll lighten my whole head and tone it maybe every other month, not often. The last time I went and products were recommended to me when I told them what I was trying to do my hair turned out great. I went in yesterday and they were out of the lightener I usually use so I asked what was comparable and told the woman what I was trying to do, now my hair is light blonde and I was given Clairol professional blue with a 30 developer. Well on those packets unlike the tub (after researching it) says FOR DARK - BLACK HAIR ONLY. So after following the instructions and the time for processing my hair 1: was PINK after washing it 2: was so f-ed and fried that as I was washing it CHUNKS of my hair were falling out! Towel dried it tried brushing it and even more hair was falling out! I AM DONE WITH SALLEYS. Look I get it, it isn’t a professional salon and yes it’s a “at your own risk” but if you’re selling professional level products that could seriously ruin someone’s hair you would think these people would have SOME knowledge on what the heck you’re selling to people! I mean MY HAIR IS FALLING OUT AND CHUNKS FROM PLACES ARE MISSING!!!! I am BEYOND angry especially dropping a good amount of money there.-DONE

Helpful staff listened to my needs and quickly recommended two products, which I bought and we tried, like them. Will definitely return here.
Amanda was rude! I called at 740pm and wanted to get a pricing and she tells me that they were closed and that she couldnt give me a price. So I asked her didnt they close at 8pm she said yes so I said ok well I will hold on the line so you can do a price check its on 745pm and yall close at 8pm. She began to be rude, and disrespectful. I know its almost closing time but do your job!
If I could get zero stars I would, Very bad service!! Employee who goes by the name of Liz wouldnt honor the sale being advertised and was also heard saying she needs to leave before I curse her out after me trying to explain to her that this misunderstanding has happened before as I showed her the ad, but she didnt want to hear it. I will be going back to speak with a manager.
