Went into this store... really cute. More on the primitive side tho. Went to smell a candle, pulled my mask off my nose. And was told to put my mask back up. Come on now... I won’t express my rights or opinion on the wearing of masks... So you really killed my vibe in your store and lost some sales u could of had! So one star for you Karen!

This shop has stuff you didnt even know you needed. I walked out with a lighted birch tree (always wanted) and the cutest pair (3) of earmuffs with little reindeer antlers. ❤ Awesome! I will be back. Even though the girl checking me out, seemed like she didnt want to be there. All it takes is a smile, even with a mask on. 😄

Love it here. It is always such a treat to walk through here and find things. Plus, they are always very welcoming to the kids. Its like walking into grandmas house.

My parents purchased a custom made farm table and benches for their new home in Hillsborough. This shop and the owners/employees are WONDERFUL! Very friendly and helpful. The table turned out beautifully and they have plenty of other wares in the shop you shouldn’t miss. Great little shop in downtown Apex. Helpful hint - if you order custom it will take quite a few weeks (as it should), but if you are looking for something quickly, see if they have any on display you can purchase :)

Such a quaint little shop. Purchased 2 candles, espresso & gingerbread and can not get enough! Ive been burning them every day. Loved this place!

The Rusty Bucket is definitely an Apex staple to check out if you find yourself browsing the historic downtown area.  Its packed full of things to check out and a lot of fun to browse.  The other reviews mention a cozy at home feel and they are definitely correct.  If you like browsing old country stores for odd finds and antiques, this is for you.

We just found a jar of jam as we were cleaning out the cupboard (Cov-19 boredom). Dont remember when we bought it, could have been quite some time. It was still fresh, with real blueberries, and delicious. Highly recommend!

I was working on getting a sign I found there for my mother for a house warming gift since we were all moving soon. Keep in mind I am just another random high school student with 2 jobs and still manages school, I found this sign that I knew my mother would love and the shop keeper was more than happy to work with me through email to help me get it to my mum with out her knowing!!! Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone, great service, great atmosphere and something for everyone!!

Over the years I have purchased several pieces of furniture and other items from the Bucket and am very happy with them. They feature a lot of handmade items from local folks, so there is always something unique. Even if I dont purchase something, the staff always is friendly and happy to see me. I do visit their candy counter quite often, for some Mary Janes or candy sticks.

Rusty Bucket in Apex is my favorite place to shop. They have country, colonial, and primitive furnishings and decorative items. Many of the items are handmade locally and are one-of-a-kind. Awesome Antique store in Downtown Apex, NC. It can be called so much more but the atmosphere and service is great. My kids love it!!! Cool Google Virtual Tour too check it out to see how much they have to offer!
