The girls there are great. Theyre well informed and they understand how to communicate with their customers. What more can you ask for?

Their pricing is good but business practices aren’t efficient. I ordered over5k worth of pavers through my Uncle who is a contractor in similar business to get some discount as contractors get it over retail. There was so much confusion processing payments that it took multiple visits for my uncle to pay and then get refund on pallets. The employees created confusion between me and my uncle by miscommunication about refund. Techo bloc has a lousy policy to refund $25/pallet upon return and Atlantic mulch wasn’t willing to process refund over the phone into same credit card information and wanted a visit and swipe card to process refund. One excuse, we’re transitioning to a new online system and it doesn’t allow. Newer systems are built for efficiency and not to create more trouble for Customers. What a lousy business practice to accept payment from a card but unwilling to refund on the same card. I was told a certain delivery fee but the emailed invoice showed a separate handling fee that wasn’t told in person. What a waste of time and effort to involve my uncle for a small discount that was made of for, otherwise by Atlantic mulch. They are helpful in Hardscaping section only if a certain employee is present that day. If she is on leave, no one knows a thing. Make sure you call before you go there if she’s available to help. The delivery was made responsibly well. No damage to pavers or property. The management sucks.

Atlantic Mulch does have a great selection of mulches and its very easy to select your choice from the display just outside the front door to the office. Equally impressive are their other displays of stone and other outdoor landscaping materials.As you enter off Ten Ten Road, continue straight about 150 feet to the small parking area and go from there! Everything is labeled so youll know what youre looking for. There are many ideas of what you can build, including fireplaces, fire pits, small pools and fountains.A great resource with friendly and helpful staff.

I would highly recommend this place for any DIYers. They supplied a materials for my Patio. All I had to provide was my project area and dimensions; and they provided all the materials with appropriate quantities. Giselle was patient and great to work with. They went above and beyond on the customer service and communication. Everything was punctual. The delivery person even dropped off pallets in my backyard which was a huge time saver (This may not be possible for all). Last but not the least they supported me through all my technical question about means and methods.

You should know what you want before you arrive. Quick in and out. Pull up through the drive through window to pay and theyll load you up. Great prices and they deliver!

The person taking my order was clear, they called to ask if they could deliver slightly ahead of schedule, and the person delivering it was able to perfectly place it on the tarp we had laid out! Highly recommend!

Atlantic Mulch was very professional from the sale to the delivery. They called when an open delivery was available, called prior to delivery as promised, arrived at the stated time for both deliveries, and were courteous for the sale and for the delivery. The materials were clean and in excellent condition. The driver dropped the load right where I wanted it in tight spots both times. I would definitely recommend their services.

Customer service don’t care to push a customer purchasing thousands of dollars worth of material. Based on my experience, I took my business to Raleigh.This is not the reason for taking my business to Raleigh, but the personnel behind the counter can’t tell you how much material you need based on square footage. Also, they don’t know how many truck loads you need to deliver the material you just ordered. That should have been a clue to get away front that place but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

I have used Atlantic Mulch for the past 7-8 years to pump the mulch because it spreads out so evenly and does not break my back. This year I decided to spread the mulch myself and I received great service from the office staff to the driver (Ronny). The driver placed the mulch perfectly on my driveway and did not get one piece on the grass and he backed in effortlessly, amazing skills! I have recommended them to my neighbors and they received great service too and were very happy with the designer mulch dark walnut, that is the way to go. Cannot say enough.......

Atlantic Mulch -First time ordering mulch online. Great service with no hassle. Delivered to correct location first time. Mulch quality was the best we have ever received with very little trash or rocks. We have put out 20 yards for over 20 years so we have some experience in what to expect. Hope to order again for many years.

Got the soil which was 70% compost and 30% soil for the garden beds. One of the worst soil i have seen, myself along with lot of other folks in our community bought the soil and there is very very minimal plants growth without fertilizer. With higher compost one would imagine better growth. Will never buy from them again soil or mulch, buyers beware.

Went in to buy seed and after describing the lot size and that I was overseeding, I was told I needed two 50 pound bags. Turns out I only needed one bag and they oversold me. I then called to see if I can return the extra bag and they advised they don’t take returns on seed. This was 3 hours after purchase. This is poor form and frankly taking advantage of a customer.

Great people and even better customer service! They have a broad selction of products as well! Highly recommend them for all of your material needs!

A shame .. the staff of this company .. I guess .. (sandy Alvarez) ... I had an order for 7 pavers and they had no order to deliver .. at the end I paid 2 more pallets ... when I only took 7. . It is not the first time that they deliver badly on the outside, they take a long time and very poorly organized .. the manager threatened me that if I did not pay for the 2 pallets that he would not return .. and I prefer to give them a gift to pay them the 2 pallets more than do not take me and do not return again!

There was a misunderstanding with the location of a delivery and I was frustrated because it meant a lot of labor on my end to remedy it. Problems happen in all businesses, but its how the company handles it that makes the difference. I called and not only did they immediately fix the problem the next morning, but they went above and beyond in the quality of their work. THIS is how companies cultivate loyal customers. Highly recommend this local company.

I went to pick up a ton of motar sand and I was amazed by this location. Prices are great !The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they are well organized and work as a team. The yard guys already know the orders which makes it a lot faster to get loaded, the yard itself is very neat and clean everything is labeled, they have a huge selection for stone and pavers, and there is plenty of room to go in with trailer and turn with no problem to top that off they have a drive thru window where you can just pull up pay and get loaded. They also offer delivery on site! Would highly recommend this location!! hablan espanol!

I rarely give out (5) star reviews and Ill admit Ive only done one transaction with Atlantic Mulch, but I must say it was a good one. I called several times to change my delivery schedule and somone picked up each time and was professional and accomodating. To bring this review home, the delivery driver called before he left the yard and arrived right on time. Once on site, they delivered the #57 stone right where we needed (within reason - we had to avoid overhead powerlines). Ill defintely use Atlantic Mulch in the future.
