We are getting Some work done in our kitchen. So we went here for some tile and cabinet options . Let me just start by saying the parking situation here is probably the worse of any strip mall style shopping I have seen. Plus there are other industries there so lots of big pick up trucks that park over the lines...but thats my rant. We were helped by a young lady named Ali who unfortunately is leaving soon but did a great job showing us options and even offering professional opinion. She helped us get an estimate set up and we may even get some stuff we didnt go in there for no thanks to the Mrs. Good luck with the new gig Ali and thanks for all the help. Check the store out great selection. And service but find a good parking spot.

Thick bone older lady (sherry maybe) didn’t want to help us, instead decided to help other customers that came in after us. We decided in some tile and asked for a quote. She said I don’t have time today, but I’ll give you call on Monday. My husband and I made a $50 bet she wasn’t going to call, I won the net she never called.

Galaxie Floors not only showed great professionalism, they also showed compassion. As we were remodeling, we found a long-time roof leak in our new-to-us old house. We were devastated and didnt have walls on all 3 levels of our split-level house for an entire winter as we tried to figure out what to do and make repairs. Finding asbestos pushed our install date even further back. Galaxie Floors never pressured me to get things done and were very understanding. They even held the flooring in their warehouse for almost a year. I am so grateful for their kindness in that horrible time in my life. We now have a new home and plan to get flooring in it- our one stop will be Galaxie Flooring!!!

Bloomington location: My husband and I decided to skip the big box store and use a specialty flooring store to purchase carpet and hardwood for our new home. We were impressed with the sales person’s knowledge. Unfortunately that’s was the only positive. Our carpet color choice (top of the line) had to be changed last minute due to a manufacturing glitch. Ok, I happens I guess. Then our other carpet choice had to be changed too. The install was terrible. Carpet fibers are still shedding, very visible seams and uneven edging. We had 4 rooms, 2 stairways and 1 hallway carpeted. When the installers were done they said to me, “We don’t have a vacuum....” Ah, what? I vacuumed everything...clogging my vacuum twice.Hardwood floors: delivery delayed, deliverers didn’t deliver sub floor and installer installed the floor vents above the floor level and said, “That’s how they’re supposed to be.” We insisted the vents be fixed and they were.We spent thousands of dollars and we are not impressed with the amount of set backs, delays and mediocre installation.

We had new carpet installed last week, from Tracey in sales to Scott that installed we were very pleased, if you need carpet this is the place to shop.

We have purchased carpet from here on two occasions. The last occasion we had a horrible experience. The carpeting (SHAW brand) started fuzzing almost immediately after installing. We contacted the floor store and they sent out someone to take a look at it and they insisted it was OUR fault the carpeting had a problem. I have NEVER seen carpet perform so horribly. Its matting down, fuzzing, and fibers stick up that you can pull out. I had the owner of the company come by to take a look because I thought he would work with me on it. The best he could do? Shaw had a 30 day policy where I could EXCHANGE the carpeting (basically for a different color same carpet) but the floor store would make me pay for removal and installation! Say what?!? Talk about awesome customer service… or NOT. Very disappointed. When the owner was here to look at the carpet and tell me it was my fault, he told me he had come from another homeowner who had just purchased carpet and was unhappy with her experience too. We are moving soon and need new carpet again… will definitely be choosing a different flooring company. Disappointed I had to write this review. I wish they would have been easier to work with at fixing their problem. Buyer Beware!

Lindsey sold me top quality Bertch cabinets. Pricing was excellent based on competing quotes for another brand they sell. Excellent, consummate professional installation. Even though I did not purchase countertops from them, they arranged plumbing service at a lower negotiated rate. Top notch design, sales, service.

From the sale to the installation, was fantastic, I thought I would come home and be vacuuming for a hour, they had already vacuumed Best company I have ever used
